Very good lunch, but the entrance was difficult to find.

I stopped there for a bite to eat. I chose the beef carpaccio with arugula. However, it was covered in truffle mayonnaise. I hate truffles, and there was absolutely NO indication that they were in it. So, one of two things: who puts truffles in carpaccio, and more importantly, why wasn't it mentioned? To top it all off, there wasn't even a single beer or wine on the drinks menu. I won't be going back.

Terrible service, unfriendly staff and Cappuccino that tastes like shit. Avoid this place please

I visit Maastricht often from Texas. My favorite bar De Sperwer closed when Ms Irma retired and this place is only a couple doors up the street. The owner and his wife are very nice folks. The patrons are locals and I have always been treated well. Its a quiet pub with no blasting techno music.

Lukewarm pilsner served in a dirty glass, service is lax
