Spareribs burnt and tough, panacotta doesn't taste like anything, looks more like a good cold. A cup of coffee tastes like second-hand. Definitely not a second time. Unfortunately, the family decided to celebrate another birthday this year (2025). And this time again extremely bad. As a starter, we had pork belly, you expect it to be nice and crispy, but it looked like a slab of whale blubber. As a main course, the “sticky fingers”, not much better. Meat from the spare ribs, at least according to the waitress. Just 6 pieces of meat and a lot of blablablabla from a piping bag. Also a lot of grease, just nasty. My wife returned it asking if it could be fried until crispy, but with little success, it looked like it had just been put in the microwave for a while. Neither of us ate it. Too dirty for words, almost €80 in total, which could have gone straight into the rubbish bin. They didn't understand. We will drive to Nieuwveen, “eat at Peter's”, he understands. Good plate of food, no fiddling with piping bags and tweezers, good meat.

Beautiful terrace with a view over the river. Beautiful decoration and nice staff. Fish board for 2 people is definitely recommended. Venison steak is very tasty, but only in season. If you like chocolate, I would have the lion for dessert.

This wasn't good! Once but never again. The restaurant was recommended to us but it was all disappointing. Looks nicely prepared, but the flavors are not right. And they can't do much about the running and crying children, but of course it doesn't increase the atmosphere either.

Reserved a table for two the evening before the dinner. At 5:30 PM (30 August) there was still room. Greeted kindly upon entering and asked inside or outside. We chose outside on the terrace because the weather was still lovely. We were assigned a table very close (1 - 1.5 m) to the beer barrel/standing tables at the end of the terrace near the sliding door to enter. Well, there was a group having a nice conversation at that drinks spot and the conversation became louder and louder. We were very distracted by it during our drink, prior to the main course, whether you wanted it or not. Just before our main course was served, the group went inside for their table. Wonderfully quiet and then... a very large new group came to the drinks spot. A little calmer in the conversation, that is. But tightly against our table. Can you imagine it: we are enjoying the main course and looking at eye level at the buttocks of the guests. This made us feel uncomfortable. Still ordered a delicious dessert and then left quickly. Shame! The host could have pointed out this situation to us in advance, so we could have immediately asked for another table, inside if necessary. In any case, we do not think it is desirable to use this drinks spot during dinner time. There were more tables around it, but they were not occupied.

Nice and good restaurant. Service reasonable. Fish dish was a bit on the small side. I'm not a big eater, but the plaice fillet was really not enough.

Lovely spot on the terrace, with a nice view of the Lek and the ferry. Terrace has windows, ideal and large parasols against the sun. Cozy furnishings. We loved the tenderloin with bread. Meat nice and tender.

Food was disappointing. I ordered farm chicken and expected a tasty roast or grilled half chicken, but it turned out to be a rather tasteless chicken fillet. Fries were limp and chewy. Expected better.

Had a nice lunch on the terrace overlooking the river. The Fish Lunch was very good, especially the soup. The spicy tempura chicken was a bit bland, a little more chili mayonnaise would be better. Unfortunately, when we got up, it turned out that there was a hole in the upholstery of the bar chair, causing the seat to get wet. As a result, I had to spend the rest of the afternoon with a wet spot in my pants.

First day of Pentecost we had a delicious meal with the family. It was a difficult choice to choose from the surprising menu. But the dishes were well prepared and looked beautifully presented. And most importantly, it all tasted delicious.

Leuk restaurant aan de Lek. Direct ter hoogte van het Veerpont bij Bergambacht. Het eten is zeer lekker en met aandacht gemaakt. De sfeer is goed en gezellig. Een ster minder omdat het opnemen van de bestellingen iets soepeler zou kunnen. Ook de oplettendheid van de bediening ten opzichte van lege glazen op tafel. Maar dit puntje valt in het niet bij het excellente eten wat hier geserveerd wordt!

Leuke plek als je van de pond af komt om een hapje en drankje te doen.

De carpaccio XL was een grote teleurstelling. Er zaten grote croutons van bruin brood op, schijfjes radijs en plakjes zure komkommer. De Parmezaanse kaas en de dressing ontbraken.

Al meerdere malen koffie gedronken bij Aan de Dijck, vandaag zondag 8 okt 2023 eens een lunch geprobeerd. Nou, hier hadden we zeker geen spijt van, alles was heerlijk, het 12-uurtje Vlees, het broodje Ossenhaaspuntjes en de Freaky Dame Blanche. Ook alle respect voor het personeel die het erg druk had maar waardoor we zeer vriendelijk, snel en netjes werden geholpen. Hier hebben we wel een ritje vanuit Rotterdam voor over !

Leuke zaak, jammer dat er niet meer geluncht kon worden wegens de drukte

De locatie is wat afgelegen maar daarom niet minder gezellig. Uitzicht op de pont en de Lek en goed bereikbaar. Het eten is betaalbaar en met liefde bereid. Je proeft dat de kok zijn vak verstaat. Zeker een bezoekje waard als je in de buurt bent of een fietsbestemming zoekt.

Heerlijk uitgebreid eten. De service is erg goed. Niet opdringerig maar wel daar wanneer het nodig is. Daarnaast een mooie sfeervolle plek waarbij je niet te dicht op andere gasten zit

Gezellig onderkomen met uitzicht op de Lek en heen en weer varend pontje. Als starter geit & peer (gekonfijte peer - crème van geitenkaas gebrande geitenkaas - toast balsamico azijn) en carpaccio (de dunst gesneden carpaccio die ik ooit op heb) op. Zeker de geit & peer waren bijzonder leuk opgemaakt. Als hoofdmenu is gekozen voor Italiaanse Kip & Parmaham (gegrilde kip - krokante parmaham tomaat - jus van tomaat & basilicum ravioli van burrata en limoen) en Heek & Zalm (op de huid gebakken heekfilet - zalm gebakken shiitake - romige mosterdsaus) welke beide in mooi opgemaakte borden werden geserveerd. Het toetje was zeker een topper, Scroppino & Panna Cotta (panna cotta van limoncello canache van witte chocolade crumble van citrus fruit glaasje scroppino (bevat alcohol)). De hoeveelheid van elk gerecht was dusdanig gekozen dat je met 3 gangen genoeg gegeten hebt zonder een gevoel van overdadigheid. Personeel is correct en vriendelijk. Het zou passend zijn dat het bedienend personeel net even op een hoger niveau zou acteren. Dat zou het geheel tot een hoger niveau brengen.

Vriendelijk personeel, leuke locatie, lekker eten! Porties zijn gewoon prima, niet teveel, niet te weinig. Precies goed. Wellicht mede daardoor alles voor een leuke prijs!

Gezellige ambiance en vooral belangrijk: we hebben heerlijk gegeten. Een hele gezellige avond met de familie gehad, bedankt!

Heerlijke lunch gehad in sfeervol restaurant aan de Lek. Gezellig personeel. Nu ook genoten van een heerlijk diner, heerlijke burger gegeten! Een hapje geproefd van de vega pasta van mijn docher, deze was ook echt héérlijk. Nog een ribje van mijn vrouw...mmmmmm, lekker. Personeel is heel aardig en behulpzaam. (Ze weten ook netjes om te gaan met 2 zeurende oude zuurpruimen uit Belgie die naast ons zaten. Het koffie-ijs zou ijs-koffie zijn, gek hè als je 10 minuten buiten staat te roken.😂 Rustig blijven en toch een nieuw bolletje ijs geven. Heel professioneel!👍) De parkeerplaatsen zijn weer te bereiken als je even om het restaurant rijdt. Vergeet niet de koks te bedanken voor het heerlijke eten, door het raam van de keuken kan dat😜
