Had food delivered. Delicious food, and it arrived quickly. Definitely coming back!

We ordered from here, but they called to say they couldn't deliver because they were busy, which I understand. But we'd already paid! We called back to ask if the order had been canceled, but it hadn't been, and they hadn't during the call either. No, not now, I'll do it later. Meanwhile, we were talking about the conversation, and the call was suddenly disconnected. Really poor service; you hope to be able to work things out together, which is what you expect from a company. Now we have to wait and see if we even get our money back! We won't be ordering from here again!

Sandwiches gone, and very unfriendly people who also refuse to pay taxes, only accepting cash. Oh well, hopefully what they do have is tasty.

Order placed at 5:50 PM. Still no food at 9:00 PM. After calling several times, the delivery driver was on his way. The delivery driver called at 8:30 PM and was given number 26. I live at 269, so they wouldn't deliver. It's still a 4.5 km bike ride. The delivery driver called me to say a car would be there to deliver my food. I asked if it was still warm. Yes, it would definitely take another fifteen minutes, but it wasn't our fault you entered the wrong number. The screenshot sent clearly shows 269, not 26. Still no food. The people were terrible and unfriendly!

I had a Pom Sandwich. I thought the pom tasted delicious. Not too spicy, just right. Highly recommended!

Just picked up my food and it was delicious. It was still nice and warm when I got home. And they have a very wide selection, more diverse than I'm used to from a Surinamese restaurant. I see the restaurant has a pretty poor rating, but most complaints are about the delivery. But if you pick it up yourself, everything is perfectly fine. I'll definitely be back.

Have ordered here before. Always great food! Hadn't had roti for a long time and was looking forward to the food. I call the restaurant because it took a while. It can happen, it's busy... Then I call and they tell me that they won't bring my order at all. Because it's too busy, I've already paid and I can hope that I'll get my money back. Ridiculous - I ordered at 6:15 PM and at 7:30 PM it still wasn't there. If I had never called, I would never have been called?! Communication was not as desired. Hope for money back because that is still the question - and I waited an hour for no dinner.

A roti special will cost you more than 26 euros, you've gone completely crazy, including delivery. And that for chicken that is in containers like the tokos, the purchase is not that expensive, boycott that trade

I called this restaurant to ask if I could place an order and pay cash. The employee said that it was not possible to order by phone and that I had to order via Thuisbezorgd or Uber Eats if I wanted to pay cash. Fine, so I placed an order of €70 via Thuisbezorgd. Less than a minute later I received a call from the restaurant that I still had to pay online, otherwise they would not deliver the order. I explained that this was not an option for me – that was why I had called. The employee started talking about fake orders, but I suggested that I send a photo of my ID, or that they could collect the money first and then deliver the order. But instead of thinking along with me, I was spoken to in a rude and blunt manner. The employee literally told me to “fuck off” and order somewhere else. Unbelievable! This is not how you treat customers. In short: lousy service, disrespectful staff, and no customer focus at all. Do not order from here – there are plenty of better restaurants that respect their customers.

Food mediocre, for years the pin machine is supposedly broken. QR code in the store does not work either. Black market, will not come back.

I ordered a nasi roasted chicken arrived completely burnt after having to wait 2 hours for my order. The egg in the saoto soup was not good, completely green brown. The pom had black pieces in it and did not smell good. I contacted them about this and they tried to make it right, I indicated that I wanted my money back and the man kept arguing that the rest was supposedly good, which is clearly not the case. I only get my money back for the nasi but not for the rest. I will definitely never order from here again. The service is mega bad. As a company you should solve it in a neat way and this is not done. And that after waiting 2 hours with my child I get dirty burnt food in return. Ridiculous.

The food was delicious and the employee was friendly and good humored. It is inconvenient that you cannot pay by card, but the payment via QR went well. We picked up lunch, so not a bad experience in terms of delivery time.

If 1 portion of roti costs €20, you can expect it to include an egg. Unfortunately! They have gone up a lot with the prices. Price/quality is no longer in proportion in my opinion. Food is also lukewarm!

The service at this restaurant is truly disappointing. The owner assumed I didn’t understand Hindi and was insulting me in front of his emplyee — something no client should ever experience. As a result, I left the store and will not return. The food is mediocre at best, and there are far better restaurants in this area.

Over a period of six months, I have been standing in front of a closed door more than 10 times while the website says they are open at 12:00. If the best man, who is always grumpy, decides to let us in at 12:30, he still has to bake the sandwiches and that takes another 20 minutes. I wonder if the best man even wants to work here! The sandwiches are very tasty, but the service could be a lot better. The man at the counter is very short. We were also regularly sent away at 12.30 because it was not yet open. Although the website states that it would be open at 12:00.

It's a shame that this place is so self-defeating due to unfriendly staff and poor management, because the food is good. I have now had 3 problems with this case in 2 months. 1: Uber Eats had 2 promotions for Aarti Roti, namely 1+1 free and 20% discount on the total amount. When I wanted to pay for my order in cash at the door, the 20% discount was not shown on their own receipt, but it was on my Uber Eats invoice. As a result, the amount to be paid was incorrect, after which Aarti Roti indicated that I had already received enough discount and was told in a threatening tone that I had to pay the amount on their receipt. After a back-and-forth discussion with the very unfriendly manager over the telephone, I decided to give the remaining amount, while Uber Eats later indicated that this is a problem for Aarti Roti and not for the customer. 2: During another delivery it turned out that something was missing. Any other company would still deliver this, since you have already paid for this. At Aarti Roti they said that the manager would send us a phone call the next day to get our money back. This never happened. 3: Uber Eats recently offers the option of an Uber One subscription. This means you no longer pay delivery costs for orders over 18 euros per month within Uber Eats for 9 euros per month. However, Aarti Roti was of the opinion that I still had to pay the delivery costs in cash with my order, because otherwise their own administration was incorrect. When I kindly and politely declined, showing my own Uber invoice and trying to explain the concept of Uber One, the employee said they don't want my money anymore and insisted on taking the order back. It's a shame that they upset well-meaning people in such a way, but the goodwill factor with new opportunities is now gone.

Ordered at 5 p.m. via our own website, it was supposed to be delivered at 6 p.m., at 7 p.m. nothing, called 4 times, just didn't answer! My son ended up picking it up himself! So NEVER order here again!!!

Bad service!!! DO NOT ORDER They accept all orders from Uber and home delivery, but still consider delivery to be a big problem. Are customer unfriendly on the phone, and only say that it is busy. Roti roll beef, delicious Bami special also very tasty, chicken curry also tasty. There were some delays due to traffic, the delivery person called promptly to communicate this, no problem! What horrible service! I waited more than 2 hours for my order, and then it was suddenly canceled without any explanation or warning. Delicious food. Unfortunately, I'm afraid you will go first if you order via home delivery. We have now been waiting for our food for 2 hours and 45 minutes (instead of the stated hour). An hour and fifteen minutes ago we called and they said it would take another 10 minutes. Just called again, it still takes 10 minutes because it is busy today. I don't have the feeling that you get a fair expected delivery time, but this way all orders are simply accepted.

He seems to round up prices to a whole amount. When he puts the food on the counter, he disappears back to his chair and then says nothing. I won't come here anymore.

ABSOLUTELY NEVER AGAIN!! Ordered via their own site. I've done this before in the past and the food was great. Now ordered a lot of food for 2 people but everything was half full. The roti rolls were practically empty. Shrimp sandwich was full of long beans and literally only 5 mini shrimps. Pom sandwich also half empty. And all the food was cold. Delivery man arrived on his scooter without a warming container. I called and got the manager on the phone. If you can't handle complaints and can't speak to people, then you shouldn't be a manager! Worthless junk! Rude on the phone. Doesn't think about solutions at all!

Always been a loyal customer, food is tasty. But the service and hygiene are extremely poor. Roti, baras, sandwiches... all really tasty. If we have less time we will pick it up. If we are absolutely not in a hurry, we have it delivered (and just don't keep looking at the clock). Sometimes it arrives quickly, sometimes it takes longer, but it always arrives, has never been delivered cold and is always worth the wait. Just tastes really good. Don't recognize reviews about bad or rude service at all. Always find them friendly.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Almost 2 hours later I received my food, which was still cold and the bonjo was even FROZEN. We gave them an egg curry sandwich instead of chicken curry. Idiot man on the phone was very rude and hung up in my ear. Worst delivery and service!!!

Ordered via Uber Eats. Delivery time 20-40 minutes. Called more than an hour after ordering; it was on its way and would be there in 10 minutes. Quite a good estimate, since we were not asked for our name or address. The food was only delivered 40 minutes after we called. The Baka Bana was limp and tasteless and there was hardly any banana in it. The rest of the food was acceptable, but not comparable to the Surinamese restaurant we ordered from before. So this was once and never again. Not so much because of the food or the delivery time, but because of the misinformation and disinterest with which our call was dismissed.

Ordered vegetarian roti. It was really delicious. Could eat this every day, 100% recommended. Also well packaged, arrived warm.

Very nasty reheat/microwave meal business. Absolutely not friendly, don't speak Dutch, in short, don't bite! Could there possibly be a different owner? I have no idea, but they won't see me again.

Today I got 4 sandwiches on offer, I understand why it is an offer, there is literally 10 grams of meat per sandwich and you couldn't withdraw it either, he referred me to the other side to withdraw from the ATM because supposedly the pin was broken. don't believe anything about just paying taxes like everyone else

After ordering we waited 2 hours for our food, an hour later than they indicated. Once I started eating it smelled a bit spoiled. My wife stopped eating but I still wanted to try it. Then spent the rest of the evening walking in and out of the toilet. Definitely don't eat here. Pictures also don't match the food they actually deliver. For example, green beans instead of long beans

1 star is actually still too much. I can't judge the food because it didn't arrive at all. Where do I begin. Ordered via Uber around 2:00 PM with delivery time between 6:30 PM and 7:00 PM. Around 6:45 PM I receive a message from Uber that my meal is being prepared. When checking the Uber app, it appears that my address is included, but not the house number. Called Aarti Roti via button in Uber app. Order had arrived and indeed without house number. When I ask some critical questions about why this has not come to light sooner, I am referred to Uber. According to the gentleman, the order was only placed at 6:15 PM because that was what he had set. If I didn't agree, I had to contact Uber again (6:45 in the evening without having a telephone number). I should get my order in 45-60 minutes. Of course I wasn't happy about it. The gentleman then became very (customer) unfriendly / rude, including raising his voice. Addressed about his customer unfriendliness. The gentleman also thought I was customer unfriendly?? Discussion stopped. The gentleman said the food was coming. At the time of writing, it was 10 p.m. and I still haven't seen anyone from Aart Roti. At 8.30 pm I walked to the snack bar to get some fries. Understand that not everything can go well, but if you insult your customers so rudely and send them into the woods, then you really don't understand customer focus. Oh well, the food will be quite ok, but service orientation is hard to find. Pick your battles, but we won't order here anymore.

For really tasty, tasty food you should really GO to Aarti Roti in Hilversum. Yes you should go there. Just order, wait and take away. Their food is simply very good, tasty and a pleasure as a meal. You can also have it delivered and that's where things go wrong. Read all the 1-star reviews carefully, but no one complains about the taste, but about the delivery time, errors, etc, etc.... Just go and pick it up and Aarti will be great!

The food was delicious. Lots of choice of vegetarian dishes that are really tasty. Lots of vegetables, good taste. Delivery was fast, faster than expected. I had ordered two Parbo beers and upon delivery I saw that the order contained two cans of Heineken instead. Apparently the Parbo beer was gone. That can of course happen, but I don't think it's right that the restaurant didn't call to let me know and give me an alternative choice. Especially because the Parbos are also more expensive than the Heineken. But let's be honest: the food made up for everything. The delivery person was attentive and fixed it.

Service is declining. Clearly not good management. Ordered at 6:15 PM. When paying, I see that delivery will only take place at 7:15 PM. Finally it comes at 8:10 PM. Called 2x in the meantime and 2x standard answer "driver is underway with delivery". Do not order here!!!

Ordered and after waiting more than two hours, reported via Thuisbezorgd that the order had not been delivered in order to reclaim the money paid. Also submitted a request to the bank to reverse the amount. What an incredibly bad restaurant this is.

Food tastes really good however their we accept “only cash” policy feels like a scam. It’s 2024 and for god’s sake don’t know when was the last time I used cash. For this reason I will not order from them anymore.

It took more than 2 hours for the food to arrive. Very difficult to reach by telephone and when the food finally arrived, they cowardly hung it on the door instead of handing it over properly. The Lamb in my roti was very dry and in terms of taste it could just as easily have been beef. I will never order from here again...

Ordered beef roti and shrimp garter sandwich, it was really delicious. Service is really great, even though the people there speak little Dutch, especially English (they are sometimes difficult to understand, someone asked if I wanted sizzler and sweet with my sandwich instead of salt and pepper). The food is really delicious, especially the roti. Sandwich was a bit on the salty side but not so salty that it was no longer tasty. The price was also reasonable. If I ever come back to Hilversum I will definitely come here again💪💪

Enorm goed eten! Verpakking, bezorging, en rijkelijk gevuld!

Deze broodjes zijn gewoon lekker gekruid en in smaak. Er zit een zakje pepersaus bij voor de hot sauce liefhebbers, precies goed.

Lekker eten. Ik kom regelmatig in de Bijlmer voor Surinaams eten. Het is daar goedkoper dan Aartiroti maar eerlijk is eerlijk, het eten van Aartiroti is wel lekkerder. De groenten zijn meer knapperig en vers en je krijgt grotere stukken tempeh. De rijst smaakt ook beter

Eten besteld, na 2 uur gebeld word gemeld dat bezorger gaat vertrekken dus opzich prima kan gebeuren. Na nog een uur wachten nog maar eens gebeld, nummer niet meer bereikbaar. Waardeloze zaak, waardeloze service zeer onvriendelijke en onbetrouwbare eigenaar/medewerkers.

Ik haal het altijd af, maar wat kun je hier lekker eten halen

De bezorger vroeg mij een review te geven. En wat waren we blij! Héérlijk gegeten. Vriend van mijn zoon at mee en had nog nooit roti gegeten. Hij zei: wat een smaak explosie (vlees mix). Ik maak mijn pubers hier altijd zó blij mee. Lekkerder dan de Macdonald roepen ze. En dat zegt voor pubers wel veel! Helaas geen foto’s gemaakt, want we konden niet wachten met eten. De bezorger ruim optijd binnen 40 min bezorgd.

Roti kip mix besteld met pittige bara en nasi geroosterde kip ontzettend lekker! Aanrader. Goude tip haal het bij hun af!

Na gisteren wat problemen met de bestelling, alles vandaag perfect opgelost. Roti's zijn heerlijk en grote porties. Dit is zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Eten kwam nu ook netjes op tijd. Complimenten!

Lekker maar wel wat prijzig Surinaams eten. Vooral de grote variatie en smaak van de groenten en vegetarische opties onderscheidend. Dit keer wel erg vet maar dat is niet altijd zo. Onhandig dat je alleen contant kan betalen.

Beste roti van 't gooi. Vriendelijk personeel tijdens het wachten kreeg ik 2 kip vleugels en die waren heerlijk. Ik ga hier zeker nog eens terug om andere gerechten te proeven.

Het eten was aangebrand met een keiharde bodem. Gebeld en ik had pech. Na aandringen kon ik het geld van de maaltijd terugkrijgen maar deze niet ontvangen. Telefoon wordt ook niet meer opgenomen

Voor het eerst Roti geprobeerd en et viel echt niet tegen. Dus ik zeg als je niet durft online te bestellen dan maar een keertje zelf afhalen want ik vind dat het waard is.
