Had a great date night with hubby @ De Wereldkeuken. Our son had been there for a birthday party and really enjoyed it so we thought we'd try it out as well. The ambience is lovely, it's a big space but they've managed to create a warm, intimate feeling with the table arrangements, spacing and lighting. We enjoyed the food, although I found it got cold very quickly - not sure how that can be helped but just a noticeable observation. Clearing of used plates was prompt and obviously this is part of the staff's training to help customers make the most of the time paid for. All in all a lovely evening and we'll likely go one more time as a whole family with our children as food options are very child-friendly.

Ate here for the first time today. It was tasty, but not very warm. But the worst part was a woman setting the tables. She dropped cutlery on the floor, then put it on the windowsill, and after putting down the placemats, she simply put the cutlery next to it. Absolutely disgusting!

We went out for dinner last Saturday with my father, who was celebrating his birthday. I thought it was absolutely terrible. My father paid €750, and the staff was awful. They were grumpy and unfriendly; the plate was snatched right from under my nose. It was freezing cold, and nothing could be done about it, and the food was absolutely awful; it had no flavor. My father also didn't get his birthday discount because his birthday wasn't until Sunday. The chefs were also incredibly irritated if you asked! I say NEVER dine out like that.

We had planned to eat here, but upon arrival, we noticed that the restaurant was very quiet on a Saturday evening. There was very little food available, probably to prevent waste, but this confirmed our feeling that the selection was limited. Ultimately, we decided not to eat here and left.

I was really looking forward to this restaurant, but left disappointed. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. The staff seemed reluctant to work there and didn't come across as friendly. Plates were practically snatched away before you'd even finished your meal. Customer service was also lacking during the stir-fry. More grumpy looks behind the counter. The selection was very limited compared to other all-you-can-eat restaurants in the same price range. The quality was mediocre. The lobster was cold and tasteless. The gravy on the spareribs had thickened so much, possibly due to cooling, that it was almost impossible to pick up a sparerib. The pizza looked like regular supermarket store-brand pizza, very thin and like cardboard. The dessert, the variety of ice cream, and the toppings for the ice cream were nowhere to be found. The donuts were all very dry. The cupcakes weren't fresh. I put on my jacket during dinner because the ventilation system was blowing cold air. We visited the restaurant on a Friday evening and it wasn't busy. We won't be returning.

International cuisine with a fixed price and a wide selection of dishes from various cuisines. The selection is extensive and there's something for everyone. The quality is generally acceptable, but don't expect unique flavors or refined dishes. Everything is fine, but remains somewhat standard. The price is a bit high for what you get. It's nice for the variety and atmosphere, but not a place you'll return for.

For me, this was the worst international cuisine restaurant I've ever visited. The selection was very limited. I found the atmosphere unpleasant, and many guests behaved rudely. The staff also didn't strike me as friendly or customer-focused. Furthermore, the indoor ventilation was poor. I wouldn't go back again.

Huge Space for Dinning, special area for kids too play, clean washrooms…. Food was amazing the non vegetarian food, for Vegetarian people less Options however Manageable…. All of their staff looked a bit stressed …..this point is even mentioned in other reviews…..we went there on Friday evening….

A wonderful experience for those who love to eat and savor a variety of dishes. Being a buffet, you have to move around frequently. The unlimited drinks are much appreciated.

There's plenty of choice and the food is delicious. It is quite large and busy, though the wait times for the various preparations are manageable.

Good food, neat, busy but no waiting lines

There's nothing wrong with this all-you-can-eat. The selection is a bit more limited, but certainly not worse, and the food looks decent. The staff is friendly. The only thing I really find disappointing, but that's the case with any all-you-can-eat, is that there's no reduced price for those over a certain age. A (very) elderly person eats much less than an adult, and paying €40 for a piece of meat, a handful of vegetables, one drink, one coffee, and three pieces of sushi is a real waste.

From the outside, you wouldn't expect anything special, but inside, it's very cozy. There's a wide selection of different dishes and meats and fish. They also have pizza, lasagna, standard Chinese food, sushi, pancakes—you name it—and a very extensive dessert buffet. Definitely worth a return visit.

We went for dinner recently. There are plenty of seats, and larger groups have plenty of room. I think the price-performance ratio is high; a little cheaper would be okay! There's an extremely large selection of different dishes, everything is beautifully presented, and you can enjoy a variety of meals. The food was well-seasoned and tasty. There's a lot of live cooking, although if the restaurant is full, it can take a while, and you might end up staying in the restaurant for more than two hours. The pleasant atmosphere and delicious drinks, such as freshly squeezed orange juice or alcohol, make the wait very pleasant. I particularly liked that they also offer other dishes, such as pizza, which you can top yourself, or burgers and steaks.

We arrived in Amsterdam in the evening and wanted to grab a quick bite to eat nearby. The buffet cost €42.50 per person, okay with drinks, but it's still very expensive for two hours. If the food had been good, but... Everything was frozen. Only the items that were grilled on site were apparently not ready-made. It had very little to do with Asian food. It didn't look good and it didn't taste good at all. Everything was completely over-seasoned. After the meal, I had a stomach ache all night. I think it was from the many flavor enhancers. Once and never again!!!

What a paradise for an "all you can eat" restaurant! Almost 30 square meters, with stalls here and there offering food from all over the world. Fantastic, clean, fresh, and varied. Prepared on the spot. And free parking right outside on the roof. A true guilty pleasure.

First and last time, we were in a large group of nine people, and none of us liked it. Almost everything we got was raw on top and black on the other side! It's a miracle we didn't get sick afterward! And the staff behind the fish plate and meat grill were incredibly grumpy and unhappy!

I love the wide selection of food on offer, the standard drinks included, and the fact that it's very suitable for large groups, with ample parking and wheelchair access. There's also entertainment for younger children.

The friendly service and the attentive staff are unfortunately the only highlights here. As we all know, tastes differ. The ambiance reminded me of a bowling alley and a bus stop combined. Eat and drink as much as you can and want in a certain amount of time. Unfortunately, you don't want to eat much here (at least I do), because I'm supposed to enjoy the food. They offer everything from all over the world. How can you possibly be all cuisines? Well, everyone here prepares everything. Interesting, because that doesn't work, as we all know. Unless you're a general store, but I don't eat there. More is better; here, they rely on artificially spreading flavor. The meat was usually dead at least twice. Too bad it was worth a try, but no, it wasn't worth it. The price-performance ratio isn't right at all.

If you love a lot of food, this is the place to be. Delicious, plentiful, a children's playground, and plenty of choice. Of course, it's still all-you-can-eat.

This video looks very presentable, but if you actually visit for dinner, trust me—it’s not worth it. The food isn’t all fresh, and the presentation is nothing like in the video. Many dishes aren’t available, leaving empty trays, and the staff aren’t very friendly either.

I visited this restaurant during the week with a reservation, but unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. Upon entering, the atmosphere felt eerie rather than welcoming: it was dark and poorly lit. The biggest issue was hygiene. There were flies and mosquitoes on the food, and even the salmon I had chosen was not free from them. The tables did not look clean either, and nothing was done about it. The overall food selection was also quite limited. After just 10 minutes, we decided to leave. It’s a shame, because the location itself is beautiful and clearly has potential. Unfortunately, the cashier was also not friendly, which made the experience even worse. In short: this was a unique but very negative experience, and I will not be coming back.

A'DAMS World Cuisine is fantastic. Authentic food from around the world. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. Highly recommended if you have something to celebrate. The prices are reasonable for the variety of food you can get. My advice is to go there and see for yourself. You'll keep coming back. There's a really nice, pleasant, and cozy atmosphere.

It was delicious, the view beautiful but whoever was behind the grill he is not so happy to make the food.

The food was great, staff was not always friendly

The food is decent. The restaurant is smaller than expected, as is the selection. Not all meat is halal, which is a shame. Furthermore, the staff mainly speaks English, or only a little. There's no quiet room or prayer room. The sushi wasn't worth it. The view is truly stunning, though. It was nice to visit once, but I won't be back.

The food wasn't particularly special in terms of taste. The chicken wasn't cooked perfectly, but that can happen. It's all human effort. The restaurant is quite large, so you have to walk quite a distance to get some items. The staff was otherwise friendly, and the restaurant's decor is excellent, with a nice play area for children.

The work outing was great, though it was a shame the staff didn't speak Dutch or English. Except for the receptionist, it was still enjoyable. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very pleasant, 9/10 😊👍

It's a nice restaurant for dining with a large group, but hygiene could be better. The plates look dirty, with oil stains. I noticed this while waiting for my fish, and the grills were covered in grease... At a restaurant like this, it definitely needs to be cleaned every other day. The menu could use some updating, offering a bit more standard fare. The benches in the back near the children's corner also need replacing, so if you're paying that much for a restaurant, I'd expect something better.

You really have to eat here sometime. Fantastic!

Good all you can eat nicely set up with all parts of the world so some things are freshly baked like waffles and poffertjes and more. Small play corner for the kids with a cinema in it also nice that they can get in and out on 1 side so you can pay close attention. For birthdays you can get stars with your dessert although you indicate this at the counter.

Very tasty food. Lots of choice, delicious flavours. Atmospherically decorated and easy and free parking in front of the door. Worth repeating. Really recommended.

+ points: The food was fresh and tasty, clean restaurant and nice service. - points: if you are vegan, you have no business there. I expected more international dishes such as tacos, Middle Eastern, Surinamese food etc. About desserts it would be nice to have a few whole cakes where you can cut a piece and take it.

This is my 2nd visit to Wereldkeuken. Neat and cozy restaurant. Went for dinner on April 28...it was really tasty, not cheap, but you can easily get it...friendly staff, fresh vegetables. Steak is really tasty...well I liked almost everything...

100% Best super seafood restaurant

The food choice at this restaurant is mediocre compared to others I have been to before. The food itself is fine. Some things take a little longer, but that's part of buffet eating. What I personally don't like is that you often don't sit completely at the table, you sometimes have to queue for a long time for your food, and often drink postmix. But again this is my personal opinion. On the surface it all looks nice. There is a play area for the kids and there is also ample parking.

The men behind the salad bar were very rude. I asked for dressing, and apparently that was too much to ask. Then they annoyedly motioned for me to grab the dressing myself, but it was in front of them on the other side of the salad bar, so I couldn't reach it.

We have been coming to Amsterdam's world cuisine for years. The children were still young then and are now adults. We always had a nice and cozy time. The price is not cheap but you get what you pay for. I can understand that you cannot do this every week, for example. The food is good, fresh and the staff has always been friendly to us.

Had a great evening. The food was delicious!! The people who had to bake something were also all very friendly. In short, definitely worth repeating.

Cozy environment, diverse and delicious food!

I've been here before because my children like to eat out when it's someone's birthday. In this case, my daughter turned 6 and I thought I would go out for a nice meal. First, we are put down on a completely faded couch. The furniture is completely outdated and doesn't look good. The food was a bit poor, not enough choice and it looked quite poor. My children were playing happily in the kids area and they come to me “mommy, it smells like fire” I went to have a look myself and I smelled it too. I report it to the staff and she goes to check it out, shrugs her shoulders and walks away and I just see her doing her normal work again. That was the last straw for me, we left and we will certainly not return until there are improvements.

We went for dinner on a Saturday around 6:00 PM. It was still quiet then. We were "welcomed" by 2 grumpy men behind the counter. I also noticed that there was a lot of rubbish behind the counter, such as cushions, toy boxes and a rubbish bag, as if it was all private rubbish that came from the attic that you still have to take to the dump, so to speak. What I immediately noticed was that some furniture was broken. The round sofas were peeling on the corner and some were missing a corner of fabric. Broken chairs in the hallway near the toilets. The places where the food is found stick when you lean your hand on it. The food was very average. We had lobster but it was served cold and tasted "fishy" and was very tough as we fought with it to get it out of the shell. My friend had taken squid from the wok portion, but it tasted spoiled in my opinion and was also very tough. The staff seemed kidnapped and forced to work there, so grumpy and disinterested. There was a man standing at the grill and he didn't even look at you and said with a sigh which one? Like what do you want for the grill? This man seemed like he was in the most horrible place on earth. I felt a little sorry as if he was terribly depressed. He had grilled a rack of lamb but it was also so tough that I didn't eat it. There was also a man who grilled the steaks but he was friendly. Then I am waiting at the fish grill and see a little boy standing at the ice cream cart scooping ice cream and my friend looks at me with big eyes and says he is licking the ice cream scoop. I see him doing it too, but there are no staff there and no parents either. whereupon I walk up to that child and pull the shovel out of his hands and tell him that he is not allowed to do that because it is dirty because other people also have to shovel. I reported it to the staff and all that was done was a new ice cream scoop was taken even though the child had already contaminated 3 flavors with his spit. There were also other children who grabbed everything with their hands and put them back again. I was done with it then. We will never come back here again, I hated it. We paid 83 euros for 2 hours, I thought there was little choice and everything was just disappointing. It was lukewarm and standard, I had no idea at all that this was a "world cuisine" concept. It looked more like a bad Chinese about to be shut down by the taste police. Oh yes, and finally, maybe move the ashtray from in front of the entrance to next to the entrance.

Dear restaurant owner, Last Sunday the two of us were eating there and it was idul fetir. We arrived at 8pm and were allowed to eat until 10:15pm. The restaurant was busy because it was the end of Ramadan. To my surprise, we were eating and some visitors started moving the tables to pray. I really didn't think that was possible in a restaurant where I pay €40 per person to be able to eat in peace and when I see someone kneeling with their head pointed towards me, I didn't think it was very nice. If the restaurant owner wants to allow this kind of thing, please create another space for it. My day was ruined and a waste of my money for 2 people. I have nothing against praying or whatever, but in a restaurant and not taking other visitors into account I found it less so. The restaurant staff also said nothing about tables and chairs being moved to pray. I was kind of forced to be part of the prayer. What I don't expect in a restaurant. All in all a waste of my money.

Pros: they have a diverse range of foods to choose from and most of the things taste good. The hour system is nice and they usually have a free place. The price isn't so bad either. Cons: the people working there look miserable and the food doesn't taste extra special or unique in any way. This made me go home with some regret to choosing to go to this particular place as it was a special occasion. I also got diarhee the next day. And the worst was the lines for each food station were extra long. For me, i find that the buffet style all you can eat restaurant is not nice when it comes to wanting to spend more time with the people on the table and we had to keep getting up and waiting in long lines to get the food. I prefer ordering from the table a limited amount each time because it also makes a lot less food waste and the dishes are more unique. Overall, I appreciate their service but i would never go there again

Nice place to go with children. Good food and an easy, free atmosphere. There is Chinese, sushi, fish, meat, vegetables, fried snacks and pizza. Wide choice of drinks and desserts. Something for everyone.

Where do I start? Let's start with the food, after all, that is what you go to a restaurant for. This was mediocre. Cold food was sometimes too hot, hot food sometimes too cold. Carpaccio tough. The pizzas are from 'Gwoon' (available in the local supermarket). Sushi rice is sometimes as fresh as if it had just been harvested, the next round as tough as monkey hair. If you are served strawberries in a bowl after waiting fifteen minutes, you may be surprised by children who push you aside and grab everything from the bowl with their hands. When I then try to make a skewer myself with a skewer, I am reprimanded (as it should be) that it must first be spooned onto my plate with the accompanying tongs. Then the crowds. We came by at the busiest time of the evening (around 6:30 PM), but this was bizarre! Sometimes you have to wait fifteen minutes to serve up a plate of sushi. There were really just too many people inside, while the parking lot seemed only half full? I can't imagine what kind of crowd you are pressed into when the parking lot is completely full. Children literally ran up and under everything, to such an extent that even the head of the Chinese department had to reprimand them. Where are the parents? The hygiene? So so. During our visit, the table was often cleared by staff who came by with a cart, but in the kitchen there was food everywhere next to the dishes and on the floor. Didn't really give a good impression, even though I understand that it is difficult to keep it clean when children are using it and it is so busy in the kitchen. Toilets, on the other hand, are very clean. Were there any good things? For sure. A real compliment to all the staff present on that day. They were all working very hard to make the best of it. All drinks are also included. You pay one fixed price, but then you can really take everything "for free" indefinitely. Conclusion: A'DAMS world kitchen is fun if you plan to visit with children aged 5-10 years, they can go to the play paradise for free, but adults may be bothered by the crowds, mediocre food quality and 'okay' hygiene. As far as I'm concerned, it's not worth the very high price tag of at least €41.95 per person on weekends.

Delicious food! Nice thing. Not too busy. Assortment is very large. Unfortunately there were a lot of noisy children present. It is also very difficult to reach if you don't have a car. We came walking and since the stairwell was closed we had to walk the steep path to the parking roof and it was also very slippery in places. It's bizarre that you can hardly get there if you don't have a car!

Este lugar es genial, si comes carne roja y diferentes pescados. Sin embargo, como comedor de aves, me sorprendió la falta de elección. Un hacer su propio puesto de pizza, que se ven un poco triste y carecía de variedad. Un poco de pato frito crujiente empanado, que se agotó una hora y media antes de cerrar y no se repuso. Brochetas de pollo fritas crujientes empanadas , pollo y langostinos que se cocinaron frescos (con estaban bien pero no tenían salsas para acompañarlos) . Ensalada triste, langosta fría. Enmiende los nuggets de pollo y los nuggets de pescado obligatorios. ¡Oh, y sopa de hongos enlatada tan espesa que pensarías que te ha salido de la nariz! La barra de postres por otro lado era genial. Crepes recién hechos, mini panqueques y gofres, cerezas en salsa, 10 helados diferentes y mini pasteles. En general, muy decepcionante y no volvería a ir

We went here on the spur of the moment. For not fussy eaters is a great choice. Lobsters , steaks , prawns, beers and wines all included was amazing. However my picky GF did not enjoy it as much, as limited chicken dishes. And the fish was not named so she did not know what it was. Desserts were amazing and a big variety for most tastes . All the stations were friendly and helpful. Enjoyable experience.

Very good food, friendly service A point of attention is that the children's area is not noise-friendly, so if you sit close you may experience it as disturbing. If you don't want to, sit on the other side of the restaurant.

ik ben er nu in een jaar tijd 4 x geweest en ik blijf het leuk en lekker vinden , . het was deze keer wel heel erg druk . mmar voor die prijs is er met die wereldkeuken helemaal niets mis het eten is goed en genoeg , en in amsterdam zeker niet onbelangrijk je kan op het parkeerdek gratis parkeren

Ideal for dining out with children! The food was very good, but I have had better. It really depended on the chef you were with. But the kids enjoyed the playground for all 3 (3, 6 and 7) for 2.5 hours. Mom and Dad pretty much had a date night because of it!

This all you can eat restaurant (drinks also included) is hidden in the industrial estate. More than enough parking space. One limitation; you book a 2-hour time slot. Choice in abundance. Meat, fish from the BBQ or in a wok.

WOW..What a nice Asian buffet place!! More than worth it..I discovered this place from a Christmas function I attended. It's brilliant..Nice food and everything else you can think of.Kudos to who ever created this place!!

Tasteless and Cold Food The chefs had bitter faces, they all had a rather cold atmosphere. everyone estaba unfriendly and the one who attended us era otra persona rude, In short, null recommendation.

We have been coming here for years, because this is the perfect restaurant where you can go with children. They can grab their own food whenever they want and play in the spacious play corner in between. Food is tasty and lots of choice. Not to forget the enormous parking deck where there is always plenty of (free) parking.
