Incredibly good. A truly luxurious experience, from the food to the ambiance. The appetizers and courses were delicious, full of flavor and delicate. The service and the restaurant also exceeded expectations, without a single complaint. All requests were handled very kindly and promptly. This restaurant is definitely on its way to a star or more, that's for sure!

Spontaneously went to the Bodega van Alma, and it was so good. We sat at the kitchen bar which gave us a nice look into the kitchen and could occasionally ask the chef something. Everything looked beautiful, and some things were tastier than the other but really a great experience! That Wagyu OMG that was really way too tasty. The service very professional and very friendly, they were unexpectedly I think a bit busy which made it all a bit slower, but that was no problem for us! We will come back here!

Everything is actually good here. You can tell from everything that it is a sister of a star restaurant. Service is of a high level but the food is also delicious. The oysters are well filled, with special flavor combinations that really work well. Wagyu 4 level is so incredibly soft, you really want more of it. We also had feta, and from something so simple they make something special. We finish with mille feuille, and I have eaten this in France of the same level. All in all, top location, good food, good service. You get value for your money

We had dinner at Alma last night and it was a great experience from start to finish. We started with three surprising amuses that immediately tickled our taste buds. This was followed by a 6-course dinner, each dish perfectly balanced and full of flavour. The matching wines completed the experience, each wine was carefully chosen and perfectly matched the dishes. The restaurant had a cosy and pleasant atmosphere, and the service was extremely professional and friendly. The coffee after dinner, served with delicious Frandiese (what a treat!), was the perfect ending to the evening. All in all a top experience! We will definitely be back and recommend Alma to anyone looking for a special culinary experience!

I’m at a loss for words to describe my experience at Alma - but I think it is my best dining experience I’ve had so far. we came here on a quiet Thursday evening and were served with utmost care and attention to detail. It wasn’t crowded, so our hosts suggested we start the evening at the terrace and then move indoors while the air cooled. The food was excellent, wine pairing and recommendations were impressive at every step of the way. Yes, it is pricey but for the quality of ingredients and artfulness with the flavours and presentation I’d say it’s worth the price tag. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for a special occasion or if you want to spoil yourself!

We hebben weer genoten bij het restaurant Alma. Enige minpuntje was dat het personeel als een automatische piloot er doorheen baggerde. Het straalde minder passie uit en ook de toelichting over de gerechten ging als een treinvaart. Dit waren we niet gewend. Al met al toch genoten van de wijn & spijs.

Last Saturday we ate upstairs at the star restaurant. Delicious 7 course dinner with matching wine. Every course was finished without any form of criticism, everything was finished! My wife was pregnant and they adapted both the dishes and the accompanying drinks perfectly. Would recommend everyone to eat here once.

Laat ik beginnen met te zeggen dat ik zeer tevreden ben over Alma in Oisterwijk — een prachtige locatie en heerlijke gerechten. In veel recensies lees ik vaak de reactie: “Waarom heeft u dit niet aangegeven bij ons personeel, maar lezen we het nu terug in de recensie?” Daarom wil ik graag mijn ervaring delen. Vandaag heb ik een pasta met morilles besteld. Helaas was de pasta kleverig, smakeloos en leek het opgewarmd te zijn. Het was een zeer kleine portie …Voor €26 mag je toch een goed bereide, smaakvolle pasta verwachten. Ik heb dit direct aan tafel doorgegeven. Bij het afrekenen heb ik nog eens gevraagd of mijn feedback was doorgegeven en wat de reactie van de chef was. Het antwoord was: “Daar wordt later nog eens goed naar gekeken.” De pasta stond gewoon op de rekening en dat was het dan. Geen verdere terugkoppeling of gebaar vanuit het restaurant. Ik wens jullie verder nog een fijne dag… dat was het antwoord. En voordat er weer geklaagd wordt over deze recensie — ik heb mijn feedback netjes aan tafel gegeven. Tot 2x toe

Saturday evening, 2 people. We take a seat on the heated terrace. It was open because there were other people having a drink. After ten minutes still no one to take the order. We left.

We had a pleasant and unique evening. The food was very good and the service was excellent in terms of speed and detail. There were many courses with fish, which I am often a fan of, but some dishes did not have the wow factor for me. What I would expect for this level and price. In addition, we unfortunately missed some warmth from the service. We were helped by a friendly young man. But apart from what he was expected to do, unfortunately nothing extra came. We are a young couple, so you can tailor your service accordingly, but it remained quite stiff. We have often indicated whether the food would have tasted good when it was taken out, but the service did not ask this question. At the end of the evening we asked if we could possibly receive a list of exactly what we ate. We were told this would come via email, but unfortunately we never received anything again. In addition to these feedback points, I would like to give my compliments! We had a good meal, the presentation was fantastic, the wine pairing was also very good and the door is held open for you every time you visit the toilet. Nice experience!!

Enjoyed a delicious 7-course dinner with my girlfriend on Christmas Day. We found the price/quality to be nicely balanced. Definitely recommended!

first time visit. We were seated at the bar. Very friendly and hospitable staff. Great choice of dishes for lunch (but also for dinner) The wine list also boasts some classics. We had raviolis, bavette and the pithevier (gotta look it up!) and as starters we tried some of the bits including pork ribs, burrata and feta in puff pastry. Very tasty and perfect portions for lunch. We are for sure coming back in summertime and sit outdoors!

What a wonderful experience in the Bodega of Alma! The food, service and atmosphere (beautiful decor) were worth 5 stars for us. The warm welcome was a nice start to the evening. Malou, but certainly also Julia, did their utmost to make our evening a success with good explanations about the dishes as well as good wine advice from Malou. It was a treat to be spoiled like that. We will definitely come back!

One of the best places I’ve had dinner with my husband. Lovely environment, excellent service and attention and sublime dishes. A very wide range of wines. A perfect place to celebrate with your partner! We’ll come back soon unquestionably.

Wij wilden na lange tijd weer eens eten in een sterren restaurant. Helaas is ons deze ervaring bij Alma in Oisterwijk tegengevallen. Het eten was lekker. Toch vonden wij de smaaksensaties minder verrassend dan bij eerdere ervaringen in andere sterren restaurants. De ontvangst was ronduit slecht. Mijn vrouw is slecht ter been en moet gebruik maken van de lift. Dit was door ons van tevoren al aangegeven. De lift werd echter ook gebruikt als opslagplek voor de terraskussens. Dat voelde niet echt als een warm welkom. We hadden een 7 gangen diner besteld met wijnarrangement. Dit werd echter in een zodanig hoog tempo opgediend, dat we na 2 uur al 5 gangen eten en drinken geserveerd hadden gekregen. Ondanks het feit dat glazen wijn nog niet leeg waren, werd al weer een nieuw glas en nieuwe gang opgediend. Na ons signaal aan de bediening werd dit tempo aangepast. Wij vonden de prijs van het wijnarrangement van ruim 90 euro p.p hoog ten opzichte van het 7 gangenmenu van 140 euro. In de nacht erna hadden wij beiden last van maagzuur en een opgeblazen gevoel. Dat kan geen toeval zijn, en moet te maken hebben gehad met de combinatie van de gerechten. Conclusie... als je graag de echte sterrenervaring in een restaurant wil ervaren, en daar ook voor wil betalen, kies dan een ander restaurant in de omgeving van Tilburg.

Reservering gemaakt voor mijn 28ste verjaardag met mijn ouders en vriend. Allemaal groot fan van Alma in Oisterwijk, zowel boven als beneden. Eerste keer in Breda geweest en allemaal boven verwachting, ondanks dat de verwachting al heel hoog lag. Heerlijke gerechten, bijzondere wijn erbij en veel liefde voor al het personeel. Het voelt als thuiskomen en dat is eigenlijk nog waardevoller dan de gerechten en wijnen. Tot snel!

Had a wonderful evening (16/11/2024), big compliment to the brigade. Rarely have I seen such a well-coordinated team. Food great, personally I think the truffle supplement of 25 pp is unnecessary (own choice, I know), if an ingredient belongs in a dish or makes the dish better then it should just be there. Ultimately a hefty bill for 4 people, but happy to pay for it. 1 big negative for me personally, where were the Chef and his wife? We mainly come for them, at a concert you also expect the singer and not just the band (no matter how good it is).

Had a wonderful evening in the bodega. Was in the area because of work and therefore alone. I was looking forward to good food with good wine without any hassle at a fast pace. I indicated this and it was handled very well. We ate four beautiful courses: ceviche, ravioli with pork belly, veal cheek, and super delicious ice cream. Delicious Weissburgunder and Spätburgunder. Attentive and smooth service by Julia and colleagues. Best of all: you indicate what you want and you get exactly that and more. Well done and thank you Alma Bodega!

How am I going to present this? It was fantastic, amazing!!! The information you get with each dish and wine is so interesting! I thought I didn't like white wine, well, here I do!!! Fantastic service and delicious food!! And that is actually too modest!!

14 dagen vooraf gereserveerd , met daarbij aangegeven dat er rekening moest worden gehouden met het menu , vanwege zwangerschap. Helaas was daar totaal niet op geacteerd. Bij binnenkomst werd gevraagd of wij een menu wilde hebben, wij kozen daarbij voor het 7 gangen menu. Daarbij kwam de vraag waar ze rekening mee moeste houden ivm zwangerschap. Gezien de opmerkingen van de bediening, hadden ze totaal geen idee wat ze wel en niet mochten serveren. Voor mij onbegrijpelijk dat een restaurant op dit niveau , zo onbekwaam met klanten omgaat. Daarnaast gevraagd om beide de verschillende gangen een wijnarrangement te serveren , en een alcohol vrij arrangement te serveren. Helaas tijdens het menu kwam de wijn wel , maar geen alcohol vrij arrangement . Door hierom te vragen kwamen er over de hele avond twee alcohol vrije drankjes. Deze werden geserveerd in een wijnglas vanuit een klein flesje , de bodem van het glas gevuld en het flesje werd mee terug genomen. Bij het menu werd een gerecht gereserveerd wat niet voor iemand die zwanger is geschikt is. Hiervoor werden excuses aangeboden . Maar na 10 minuten komt dezelfde persoon vertellen dat het gerecht vertellen dat het gerecht geen risico zou zijn . Amateurisme ten top zou ik zeggen. Gerechten verder prima , vol van smaak en keurig opgemaakt. Bediening en service ver beneden peil. Wij gaan met enige regelmaat in sterren restaurants eten, maar bezoek aan dit restaurant is eenmalig.

Het eten bij Alma Fine Dining is sterwaardig. Daarnaast is de service niet passend bij een sterrenrestaurant. Er werd geen rekening gehouden met een specifieke dieetwens. Daarbij werd er niet regelmatig gevraagd of er nog wat drinken gewenst was. Het water werd wel continu bijgevuld. De bediening kan nog veel leren over het uitserveren en het servicegericht zijn. Dat is erg jammer voor het werk van de Chefkok en zijn team. Wij gaan met regelmaat naar een sterrenrestaurant maar zullen hier niet meer terugkomen. In omgeving Tilburg zijn er echt betere restaurants op dit niveau te vinden.

Sunday lunch bij Alma, dat is nog eens verjaardagscadeau om weg te geven. Prachtige middag op het balkon onder de bomen. We zijn echt verwend met verrassende smaken, combinaties en een mooie uitleg bij de gerechten en begeleidende wijnen. Heerlijk we hebben een heerlijke middag gehad.

We had a nice evening, with good food and good service. But there are reasons why we don't give it 5*. The food was not excellent for 2 of the 7 courses. And you expect that for this price and this level. The wagyu was slightly overcooked and the components in the dish were not complimentary, but overpowering. The dessert was too sweet, if it had been a little more refined it would have been delicious. The operation is a well-oiled machine with a great eye for detail. And probably one of the best in terms of speed and flexibility that we have experienced in recent times. But it lacks warmth. There is no interest in the guest. And no one was asked if the food was tasty. Real hospitality is what is missing.

My guests thought the portions were a bit too small...

Fantastic meal for the umpteenth time. What artists in taste and experience. Nice relaxed atmosphere, not stiff and room for a joke. They are also very creative for vegetarians! Don't hesitate to add a glass of wine and you won't find it on the bill. Highly recommended, in our opinion the most beautiful restaurant in the Tilburg region!

Definitely one of Oisterwijk’s gems! Really love this restaurant, very nice service and amazing dishes. Make sure to book ahead, especially during weekends. When the weather is good, a table at the terrace is recommended! Portions are small, but the quality is very good. I love the poached oysters and the fish dishes are also very good. Menu changes regularly. Alma’s ground floor restaurant is more bistro like. And the top floor restaurant is fine dining. I had lunch several times and it was always good!

We decided to eat at this restaurant because it has a Michelin star and it was worth it 😌. The food was exquisite 🤤. The service and atmosphere are top notch. I would definitely eat here again. I recommend it 💯.

Mijn recente bezoek aan restaurant Alma Fine Dining was een ware culinaire ontdekking. Vanaf het moment dat ik binnenkwam, werd ik verwelkomd door een warme en uitnodigende sfeer. De inrichting is smaakvol en elegant, wat meteen een gevoel van luxe uitstraalt zonder pretentieus te zijn. Door het goede weer konden wij buiten dineren op het balkon en dat was een unieke ervaring. De service was uitstekend. Het personeel was vriendelijk, attent en had een uitgebreide kennis van het menu. Onze gastheer/ sommelier gaf ons waardevolle aanbevelingen en zorgde ervoor dat aan al onze wensen werd voldaan. Elk gerecht werd met zorg en enthousiasme gepresenteerd, wat de hele ervaring nog specialer maakte. Het eten was zonder twijfel het hoogtepunt van de avond, wauw wauw wauw. We begonnen met een selectie van heerlijke amuses en voorgerechten, die perfect in balans waren qua smaak en textuur. Als hoofdgerecht de ree-rug, wat een ware smaakexplosie bleek te zijn. De combinatie van verse ingrediënten en verfijnde technieken was duidelijk merkbaar in elke hap. Daarna het dessert, wat subliem en uitmuntend en was ook de perfecte afsluiting van het diner. De wijn-spijs combinaties waren overweldigend. Mijn complimenten hiervoor. Als laatste een kopje thee met ambachtelijke friandises. De ambiance van het restaurant is perfect voor een ontspannen avondje uit. Zachte verlichting, subtiele achtergrondmuziek en comfortabele zitplaatsen zorgden voor een intieme en gezellige sfeer, zowel buiten als binnen. Het restaurant straalt een elegante eenvoud uit die bijdraagt aan een gevoel van comfort en rust. Hoewel restaurant Alma zich in het hogere segment bevindt, vond ik de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding zeer redelijk. De kwaliteit van het eten en de service rechtvaardigen de prijzen volledig. Voor een speciale gelegenheid is dit restaurant zeker een aanrader. Niet voor niets heeft zij een ster. Restaurant Alma biedt een onvergetelijke culinaire ervaring die zowel je smaakpapillen als je zintuigen prikkelt. Of je nu een romantisch diner voor twee plant of een avond met vrienden, dit restaurant zal je zeker niet teleurstellen. Ik kijk ernaar uit om hier weer te dineren en meer van het menu te ontdekken. Altijd top! Ik herken me totaal niet in de vorige review. De bodega en fine dining zijn 2 compleet verschillende belevingen, die beiden fantastisch zijn maar om nu boven te zitten met een salade, ik snap dat dat niet wenselijk is. Dat heeft de gastvrouw juist heel goed begrepen om die 2 concepten te scheiden. En niks mis mee als de bodega je beter ligt dan fine dining. Dan on-topic: Eten fantastisch, personeel super attent, vriendelijk en professioneel, setting heel mooi in een pand met zoveel historie. Kom hier heel graag.

Reservation in Bodega for a table. Only seat at the bar upon arrival. Cannot reserve a specific table. The table was indicated. An acquaintance of the owner comes in and has reserved a table for this. Now that's customer friendliness. I'm also surprised whether the owner still enjoys her profession. No radiance and/or enthusiasm discernible. No more Alma for me.

The bistro is very nice and even atmospheric. Avoid the table near the door, but the bar or restaurant is a nice place to be. Beautiful dishes such as herring with beetroot that become special again here. Beautiful wine list and super attentive service

Very friendly staff. Had to wait a very long time between courses. (1 hour).had 3 courses. Layout was very nice. Main dish was too salty. (rye wing) and there are only small culinary delights. Was this a shame? She first wanted to seat us at the bar, but we didn't think that would be a good place to sit, especially for this exclusive food. Later, table at the entrance. The door kept opening and closing due to service outside the terrace. This was disturbing and cold. Dessert was super tasty, really enjoyed it. We were in the bodega and not in the restaurant upstairs, so this review does not apply to that.

What a great restaurant. Friday 12-5-2023 had an extensive dinner at Alma. The chef's surprise menu with wine pairing is highly recommended. I don't eat meat myself, this was no problem. The dishes were all enchanting. The staff was very friendly and everything was well organized. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and the seating is lovely.

What a wonderful evening we had, pleasant atmosphere due to the nice space and friendly service. Really pampered with very special dishes, all a taste sensation and delicious. The various amuse-bouches and courses followed each other at a good pace and there was a good wine list to complete the experience. If there isn't a single downside, well, just one. The acoustics were a bit disappointing, it was understandably busy and the windows were open, which meant there was a lot of noise inside and it took extra effort to properly understand the explanation of the dishes. But that certainly didn't get in the way of a fantastic evening!

Had a fantastic meal in the bodega on the ground floor. Unfortunately, we had the 2-person table that was so close to the door that we were really bothered by the frequent opening and closing. Besides being disturbing, it is also cold in winter. Actually, there shouldn't be a table there and certainly not at this caliber of restaurant. So pay attention to this when booking. Nothing else to complain about. Really amazing.

Highly recommended! Fantastic dishes with delicious flavor combinations. The dishes were presented top notch and an extra touch was added at the table. We had chosen to include the wine range, which of course matched the dishes perfectly and this really had added value! The wines were presented with a clear and concise explanation. There is a nice, friendly and homely atmosphere at Alma, there are beautiful decorations with fresh flowers and you have a beautiful view into the kitchen. In short, a great experience!
