Tompoucen were disappointing. Not real pastry cream but a greasy white substance stiff with gelatin. Not crispy puff pastry either, but flaky and soft. For half the money, the tompouces from Hema are simply much tastier.

Traditional bakery with delicious bread, rye bread and pastries. Of the cookies, the Mantgumer Preamke is my favorite. Always up too quickly ;)

Schrans 145It's time they did some inventory management. Around noon, all the hard rolls are often gone; this is the rule rather than the exception. Italian rolls, baguettes, and so on.

Kwartelstraat 2-4Glad there's a bakery nearby. The bread is much better than from the supermarket. Friendly staff. Unfortunately, most employees don't speak Frisian.
