Amier dank weer voor een leuke zondagmiddag met mijn man en kindjes. Heel lekker gegeten (wel veel) en een hele goede service. Tot snel!

Al llegar intentaron vendernos menú del curso sin siquiera dar menú completo. Los entrantes eran muy pequeños y casi como en la tienda de comestibles, pero todavía a precio premium. La mayoría de la carne estaba demasiado cocida y lisa. Cereza encima - 8 EUR por 0 . 75 l de agua pura y barata. La persona de servicio era indiferente e incluso nos pidió que reutilizáramos la misma horquilla desde el arranque hasta el plato principal, ¿en serio? En general - es muy mal restaurante que te cobra de más por la comida de calidad media con un mal servicio.

Para una factura total de 176€ para tres personas, espero un servicio profesional y atento, pero esto estaba lejos de ser así. Desde el momento en que llegamos, el servicio se sintió impersonal y se precipitó. No nos dieron un menú y tuvimos que pedirlo nosotros mismos. La camarera inmediatamente trató de dirigirnos hacia el menú “todo en uno”, aparentemente porque era “más fácil”, no exactamente el tipo de actitud que se esperaría en un entorno de comedor de calidad. Sus explicaciones se sintieron ensayadas y con guion, en lugar de ser genuinamente útiles. La comida estaba bien, pero nada especial – ciertamente no vale la pena el precio premium. Las bebidas libanesas también fueron una decepción: gaseosas azucaradas de una botella, definitivamente no de casa - hecho o auténtico. El restaurante estaba muy ocupado, lo que me sorprendió, porque nos pareció muy caro y no particularmente memorable. Tristemente, no volveremos.

Delicious food, friendly service and good atmosphere

Middle of the road. It was fine, really rather busy in fact, but close to central square in a big tourist road. The food was ok, sizes were good, prices were average for the area. But even the hummus was just so-so. Inside had about a dozen tables and an upstairs, everything was filled. But just wasn’t super impressed. Waitstaff was nice, but had too many tables, missed things, missed delivered, didn’t get around to check on us. Again, very nice, but, just ok.

I booked for 7:30pm but had to wait more than 15min for the table as restaurant was overcrowded. The servers were extremely busy and couldn’t cope with number of people. There were a lot of complains as the bread and drinks were not coming fast enough. It wasn’t servers fault but whoever accepted all these bookings have to space them out better.

I had so bad food I don't recommend it at all

We had dinner here for iftar and it was super delicious! Fresh food and well prepared. Especially the shrimps and salmon were very tasty. Definitely recommended!

The restaurant is within easy walking distance. The food was delicious, but I didn't think it was particularly good value for money. Rice, chicken, and salad for €22 was quite expensive. The service was very friendly and attentive. The ambiance also didn't really appeal to me. It was incredibly plain, with hardly any decor.

We opted for the full menu for €55 a little too quickly We had a really delicious meal! However, it was a lot and we would have liked more explanation about this. The flavors were varied and very special. Fresh and definitely recommended!

The grilled koftas were still raw even though he had asked for them to be grilled properly. Old, undercooked and chewy rice was served. I don't recommend the grilled kofta meal.

The food is good, as you can expect from any Libanese restaurant, but as long as you don't accept their Mix Maza option, but you want to order separately dishes, it takes for ever to receive the order, more than 1 hour waiting.

We had dinner here. We ordered mixed grill with sides. Food was mediocre at best. Food was missing real flavour. Staff were nice but seemed overworked and stressed. Cocktails are made from concentrate and VERY sweet. Nothing seems fresh which is contrary to Middle Eastern cuisine!! We were charged 8 euros for each cocktail which was served in a tiny glass. We were served plates that were dirty and had to beg staff to bring cutlery!! No attention to detail and too expensive for this below average quality. Overall I would not recommend going here.

Always i regret after setting there in thuis restaurant ,same mistakes with same manier repeated , the meat was overcooked Black shish and earlier was the riep meat not good grilled ( The kuba board have 3 pices for 10€ the table outside very small. Taboula small plates 10€ . Average 30€ per persoon but we not getting full. Due to burned meat . The chicken tawooq is Oke . Small Water 7.50 €

Excellent Staff, delicious fresh food and a great atmosphere. My favourite restaurant in The Hague!

Food was tasty. The table was not set, the space near the toilets was not ideal, it took a long time for the starter to arrive and then courses followed each other too quickly. Not enough space at the table for all the containers.

I booked via the Fork with 30% discount on food. They weren't coming with the menu for 20 min and also didn't tell me the discount was only valid when you order one main course per person. Good that I asked in advance. They just try to trick you to pay as much as possible, collect the money and don't care about people. Everything is overpriced. I left without eating and not ever going to this place again.

every time i’ve come here the food tasted great, lots of flavor and well-served portions too. the service is very kind, it sometimes takes a bit long but it’s worth the wait and understandable since the place is always full of customers. would recommend trying this restaurant for a nice dinner!

Really delicious food! Everything was perfection. Amier has been top for years and always leaves with a satisfied feeling. They took Iftar time into account and got fresh dates as an appetizer. Shabnam was our servant and was very hospitable and we had a nice chat. We will visit you again soon!

Good Lebanese food in a nice and authentic atmosphere!

Food is really tasty but the service was very bad. We were only able to order 1 drink because we received no attention at all. We had ordered a menu, so it was simply placed on the table every time, but it also did not offer the option to order a drink with dessert. A shame, because the food is very tasty. There was also a hassle with the food - We requested a vegan menu and were then given two dips with yoghurt. Then asked if there was yogurt in it and was told by one waitress no; Later the other person brought more dishes and then said “oh I see this is not vegan”. That's actually not possible, and they should have handled it better to compensate for something.

Amier Den Haag is an absolute gem! The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, making you feel at home right away. They take their time, have a friendly chat, and ensure you have everything you need. I think when it comes to meat, they have great tasty options but the shrimp menu is not very good, doesn’t taste the best… But overall lovely waitress and great calm atmosphere. Btw, not many options when it comes to drinks because they are a “Halal” kind of restaurant.

On Valentine's Day my wife and I went to Amir's, our second visit in almost ten years – at the time we still ate meat. This time we were curious about the vegetarian options. I had reserved a table well in advance, but upon arrival the room turned out to be quite full. First we were offered to sit near the door, which was not exactly inviting on a cold evening. Luckily we managed to get a seat elsewhere, but the crowded setting was more reminiscent of a busy wedding than a romantic Valentine's evening. We were warmly welcomed by a few friendly ladies who served us the traditional Lebanese cold mazas: baba ghanooj, mahamara, mtabbel, hummus with tahini, labneh, yogurt salad and Lebanese bread. Although the dishes were tasty, they were somewhat disappointing in terms of originality. We indicated that we wanted to eat vegetarian and were given an alternative to the main course. No choice today, because we got the Valentine's menu. With Bamya as main course. We drank a glass of wine per person. The menu also included dessert at the end. I drank a coffee and my wife a tea. In short, our experience with Amir was 'okay'. The food was reasonable, but the value for money left much to be desired, especially the Vega main course was somewhat disappointing. Guests who ate meat received a large mixed grill, a full plate that was quite a contrast to the bowl of okra in tomato sauce (bamya). That was a shame. We ended up paying €146 for 2 people, just like the meat-eating guests. In addition, the crowds made it difficult to find any privacy, which did nothing to create a romantic atmosphere. Fortunately, my company made up for everything. Conclusion: too expensive for vegetarian and too cramped.

Scammer Alert: When you get to the table, they bring 2 bottles of water without asking. If you touch either, you’ll see an additional €8 per bottle on your bill! Tables are packed too close together, making conversation difficult. Mediocre food.

I ate yesterday on December 26 and, honestly, it was nothing extraordinary. The service was good but there were a series of details that I didn't like: 1. lamb was cold😱😱2. They charged us 8 euros to consume one of the bottles of water on the table (the first time they charged me that in a restaurant in Holland for water) 3. It was uncomfortable to eat the chicken on the wooden tray. That presentation may be good for hamburgers but for meat dishes, it is a bit uncomfortable (but this is personal preference). The food, in any case, was nothing spectacular, as I say, but perhaps it was because we chose dishes that were not the best and because it was a holiday. We left disappointed and with a bad taste in our mouths (pun intended 🤓)

We found shared dining ridiculously expensive compared to the portions you received, we paid 90 euros, but were still hungry when we left the tent. The food is tasty and that is important, but the quantity must be right.

Delicious food and warm friendly service. We arrived late on a Monday night and despite it being close to closing time were served so warmly and we're made to feel welcome and told not to rush. I had the homemade lemon and mint juice which was outstanding and the lamb kebab which was delicious and a very generous portion size.

Though we had reserved the waitress made us wait standing up on the threshold for fifteen minutes. We received the menu after twenty minutes. No glasses on our tables and no water to drink. We were served our food after one hour and a half. Unfortunately it didn’t meet our expectations. The waitress kindly deducted a main course form the bill.

Amier is a well-known restaurant. One of the first and oldest Lebanese restaurants in The Hague and has an excellent reputation. When we entered, the place was really packed. I said to my nephew, it is very busy, so the food must be very good. The staff was friendly, but to use our 30% discount it was very complicated. We could only order main courses or the menus. But we could not combine menu and main courses. Because of an extensive late lunch we were too full. So we ordered 6 main courses and 3 starters. Unfortunately, the restaurant was too busy for the staff present. They worked very hard. But 3 people, of which 1 behind the bar is really too little. The food, but especially the drinks and orders did not go well. It took a really long time. The tea was always forgotten. And my ice cream was never delivered. But the worst part was the food. We had to wait more than 1 hour between the starters and main courses. But the most disappointing was the Quality of the main courses. The meat was not freshly grilled. You could see that the meat was prepared in advance and then heated up shortly before serving. The grill stripes on the meat were not grilled. The meat was also very dry. There are really better restaurants where you can clearly prove that the meat was really freshly grilled. Just for information. The main courses were delivered with sauce, rice and salad. Only that was not mentioned so we had to order it with dishes. We got a 30% discount, but not for the drinks. I can say that we were very shocked by the prices of the drinks. We ordered a pot of Moroccan tea and had to pay more than 15€ for a pot of tea. Most expensive pot of tea I had ever received. In any case, the service, long wait and expensive drinks I can accept as long as the food was perfect. Unfortunately that was not the case. I really wanted to eat at Amier, a well-known old school restaurant. But it has now become outdated and is simply not good enough.

Volle zaak op loopafstand van het station. De bediening had er niet echt zin in. Het eten was niet bijzonder, niets sprong erbovenuit, behalve de prijzen. ‘Tourist trap’ vol locals.

We ate a delicious 6 course tasting dinner via social deal, it was so much that we didn't eat it all. The Lebanese cuisine is very varied, highly recommended, especially for vegetarians. Service was top notch.

Great food. Good service, could be busy so reservation is recommended. A bit tight between the tables so dont come with a lot of bags. They have good meat options and i loved the four kinds of baklava deserts.

We wilden al eens een keer in dit restaurant eten. We werden aangenaam verrast. De mix grill was goed bereid en lekker gekruid. De gegrilde kip was ook prima. Een klein minpunt was, dat we voor de mayonaise € 1,50 moesten betalen!!! Jammer. Verder was de sfeer goed. Het personeel uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Small cosy restaurant close to central with only 2 people serving the entire fraternity. While the food is good, it’s expensive for the price offered. Of course, we went on a New Year’s Eve and the food was 60 pp which is extremely expensive. This does not include a drink or dessert which is a little disappointing.

Waiter said only chef special allowed with price of 16 euro , and nothing from the menu is available . Later they charged 60 per head in place of 16 . Even after that did not get deserts which was promised . Food was not bad but not very good either .

Too expensive for the portions you get: - Batata harra tasted very good - The kebba too. If the kebba was larger, the price-quality ratio would have been better. -The chicken was fine. - Portion of rice was meager. - There should be a little more time between the starters and the main courses - Do not serve burnt vegetables. My green pepper was completely black. - Yogurt that you get as standard with your meal is with garlic. Was very tasty My tip to the restaurant: maybe instead of salad to serve with dinner, a little more rice and less bread. Overall it is a clean place. Service is friendly.

We heard alot about this restaurant. They offer good middle eastern food. However we were extremely disappointed how bad the food was en how small en ridiculous the portions were. It is such a shame to Middle Eastern cousine. Unfortunately the people who goes there seems mostly from a Dutch en European background en who absolutely have no idea what is a real middle eastern food especially Lebanese taste like. En that is what the restaurant relying on. The ignorance of customers in Middle Eastern food what makes people goes there i guess. En am pretty sure noone goes there more than once. Not to mention the ridiculously overpriced menu. Very disappointing place overall.

Delicious food and friendly staff. I'd love to come back

The location is beautiful, but the food was really bad. The service was even worse. They forgot to give us the bread with the starter, so we had to wait about 30 minutes. In the end we went to the staff ourselves to ask about it. The kebab was raw; you could clearly see that the meat was still red inside, which is absolutely not acceptable, especially since my wife is pregnant. When we pointed this out they put the same kebabs on the grill again but they were completely burnt afterwards. The service was downright bad: no one came to check if we needed anything. Even asking for a simple plate of rice took more than 30 minutes before it was brought. I'll never come back here again. With my review I also included a screenshot of the reservation, so that it is clear that this is a real experience.

Best appetizers I've ever eaten in my life, I loved the store.

Tasty food, ATROCIOUS service. The servers really don't want to be there and clearly don't care. They are slow to respond, surly when answering questions and inaccurate with orders. They also rush you out by clearing your table while people are still eating. We were over charged €100 because several tables were combined on our bill. The manager was helpful in resolving this, but the server was completely indifferent.

Meal looked like a nice plan on the menu with appetizer, main menu and dessert. Appetizer was nice, we had to wait a very long time for the rest, and we had little time (whatever we had indicated) dessert for 4 people was a disappointment. I am used to the food and hospitality of Bazar, for example. Was also expecting such a menu and choice. Unfortunately not the case. When we indicated that it was not quite what we expected, we were told that they had never heard that before and thought it was strange.

After reading all the good reviews we had high hopes, but what a disappointment this restaurant was. We were lucky that we had the only table next to the window, without people next to us, because the rest of the two could almost sit on each other's laps, the tables were so close together. "Tamarind juice" is on the menu, but what you get is cola with a sour taste. Very unfortunate. We had taken the mezze that is put together by the restaurant at €40 per person. After a table full of tasty dips, without fresh bread but unfortunately from a bag, the warm mezze arrived. And there came the disappointment. Everything was vegetarian except one small patty with chicken. The food was tasty, but from the Turkish bakery; plenty of puff pastry, one and a half cauliflower stalks, one falafel per person and 2 bowls of vegetables. Finally, 3 pieces of sweetmeat the size of a finger joint. This restaurant has never heard of Arabic abundance, let alone a piece of meat. I think it's a shame to pay €110 and then leave with a nagging feeling. Service was extremely friendly, but after a belly full of puff pastry we decided; this was the last time.

Very good food, very noisy environment, so-so service and experience. It is not possible to eat only starters (meze) unless you order them for the whole table, so you are forced to take a main course (which is otherwise good) and to avoid exploding and spending a fortune on meze you eat at most one. One waitress was friendly, the other was not. We waited quite a long time for the starters and then the main courses arrived while we were still eating them. Oh, and only bottled water (dear)

We celebrated our first anniversary here and had a delightful experience. I was able to make a same-day reservation and even noted the special occasion in the comments. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by a kind waitress who showed us to our table. Our attentive waiter ensured timely service throughout the evening. Both my spouse and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The only suggestion I have is to offer a small celebratory cake with sparkling candles for special occasions like anniversaries.

Great place and the staff are very friendly

First of all I want to start with the food which was delicious. Lots of flavour, well presented and exactly as it should be. In addition, the atmosphere and service complete it for me. Beautiful Arabic atmosphere with Arabic music in the background that takes you to the Arab countries. The service met expectations, good communication and attention to the customer. I would love to come back here.

Food was ok, service friendly, English speaking, but much more expensive than it was and the cozy atmosphere is also gone. With this enormous number of tables in one room, it is difficult to hear each other and the cozy atmosphere is gone. Too bad, I always enjoyed coming here. Looking for something new. It is freezing at the door, there is no curtain, you are in the middle of the freezing air, so people were sitting there with their coats on.

Had dinner with our family with older children to celebrate something. The food was expensive (330 euros for five people with one drink). We had to wait so long between courses that we could no longer enjoy the food. It was tasty, but nothing special. In any case, not so tasty that it made me forget the long wait.

Very expensive and not so delicious. I ordered half grilled chicken and it was so hard to eat it that I just gave up. It was 22 in the menu and I payed 25 for it!! I don’t know why or how. And I asked for Ayran and they brought me a very little glass of Ayran that was almost frozen and it was tasteless and I payed 8 euro for that!! Very disappointing. Never will come back.

The food at Amier restaurant was super delicious. It was my first time there and the service really gave you a warm feeling, they were super attentive. The restaurant was completely full, so that was also a good sign. The food was amazing, different and fresh! I think I would go there more often. Unfortunately we received a cold chicken, but it was resolved quickly! Can happen. The dessert was not my favorite, but the rest was very tasty. Definitely worth repeating.

Very disappointed, I was really expecting something super good based on the reviews unfortunately the only thing that was consistent was the bill. See photo: the “cocktail” or rather the water with syrup was 5€, the warak enab (vine leaves) 9.5€ for 6 pieces which is excrementally expensive and the hummus 8€ it was good but nothing of transcendent. I ate better for less.

Nice lunch and friendly service

We had a delicious meal and the service was very friendly. We made a reservation at 7 p.m. and waited outside for 45 minutes. We expected a free drink or something to compensate for that. I also recommend doing something about the acoustics, because the sound is not very nice. This can easily be improved with wall and ceiling coverings.
