Very good shop, it is finally open again, there is delicious soft ice cream again (better than at Debolder), the prices are reasonable too and the staff is nice and friendly, definitely recommended!

We had to wait over an hour to order at the counter!? Online orders always take precedence🙈🙈🙈 Idiotic and absolutely customer unfriendly. Hire more staff and ensure orders are processed normally and promptly. Especially if you order at the counter and take the time to do so. Do you want people to order online as much as possible? Then make that clear and explicit. Our advice: avoid this business and let them know that things need to change. Reply to Ketelbinkie's comment: Thanks for your comment, although it's not very customer-friendly. You have a link to "place an order" on Google Maps. They were constantly baking and placing bags, which were then picked up. We had to wait over an hour before we could order. It's a shame you didn't respond to that at all. A business comes with all sorts of challenges. I'm taking the liberty of sharing your thoughts. If I'm not mistaken, you own the snack bar and the small restaurant "Dining" upstairs. It should be possible to temporarily have one staff member at the snack bar to handle ice cream sales. Staffing remains a challenge, I can certainly imagine, on the island. However, hopefully, the goal of your business should be to provide service and be and remain customer-friendly. Good luck with your challenges!

We were helped by a grumpy young man, and we received a frozen bamihap and half-raw fries. The children's boxes were supposed to come with a nice surprise, but that wasn't the case. The order was incredibly expensive; for that price, you'd expect something better. We threw more than half away. We went back to the store and received a replacement, including the missing surprises. Luckily, everyone was happy, but we'll go elsewhere next time. Update one year later: We decided to try again, but once again, we received an incomplete order. It was truly awful.

The ice cream makes you feel sick

Way too long of a wait. Burger consisted of untoasted bread. For two out of three citizens, the meat was forgotten. I wouldn't recommend.

A small snack bar with a pleasant terrace overlooking the marina. We received very friendly service, our order was ready quickly, and we were pleasantly surprised by the vegetarian options, including a vegetarian frikandel special, which is still lacking at many snack bars. The only downside is the price: €4 for a vegetarian frikandel special, and €8 for the two we ordered, which feels a bit inconvenient. But otherwise, we're extremely positive about the location, the service, the selection, and the taste!

I ordered three burgers: two cheese bacon burgers and a Central Park burger. The cheese bacon burgers were missing, and the Central Park burger didn't have an egg. The fries were good, the bamischijf (noodles) was just adequate. This place could be a good place to run. The staff tried their best, but in my opinion, they lacked the experience to coordinate. Unfortunately, it was a one-time visit.

A chip shop where you have to wait over 30 minutes for your order. I'm dead and buried after starving to death. Next time, I'll try some oysters from Havenkade.

Every year when we are on Vlieland, we get our standard order once or twice: 2 fries mayo, 2 croquettes and 2 special frikandels. We accept that it is a little more expensive on an island, but this time it took the cake: € 24, I was told without batting an eyelid. How that is structured is still a question to me, I should have asked for a receipt, my bad... Anyway, a week earlier I had ordered exactly the same order in Urk - originally an island - and I paid 16 euros there. Well, the amount was high, but the quality was okay. You can't go wrong with a croquette and a frikandel, but the fries could be a bit tastier. This time we will keep it at 1x given the price. I'm looking forward to next year. Food doesn't taste good and there's a long wait

We had a delicious meal here and the service was quick and friendly. The terrace is absolutely beautiful and the view is simply great. I can't understand the negative reviews. Always my pleasure.....

Sate smaakt naar mijn oma, kapsalon naar babi pangang

Wij vonden het niet te eten. Patat ging nog.Berehap smaakte nergens naar. Broodje Hamburger , veel te duur voor wat betreft kwaliteit, de jongedame achter de balie deed niets anders dan aan de neus zitten en niet de handen nadien wassen. Jongeman was erg afwezig.Bestelling klopte niet. Maarja, we hadden het opgehaald. Veel weggegooid. Alleen de mayonaise was goed . Bestelling was 24 mei gedaan. Wij halen er nooit meer iets weg als we op Vlieland zijn......

heerlijke friet valt nergens beter te krijgen op het eiland. erg sympathieke medewerker. zeker weten aan te raden enige min punt ze serveren gefrituurde burgers zelf vind ik die minder dan een vers gebakken burger. als ze dit eventueel in de toekomst zouden kunnen verbeteren is die 5e ster van hun en als het kon mischien zelfs een 6e ster.

Prima service, afgelopen zondag bestek gekregen zonder betaling zodat we heerlijk konden lunchen op het strand .👍

Net een heerlijk ijsje gegeten was weer top en de hondjes werden weer voorzien van vers drink water super bedankt Jitse en Remco tot de volgende keer !!!

Op de vetpot na echt de beste snackbar die er maar te vinden valt! Mis Gertjan wel maar de smaak komt zeker in de buurt. Ben heel tevreden over de service, leuke jonge man waarmee men gezellig kan kletsen. Valt vooral aan te bevelen voor mensen in de omgeving van Vlieland met ernstige honger die gestild moet worden! Al met al, fantastisch!

Heerlijk knapperige frietjes, mooi goud bruin. Hele aardige knullen achter de toonbank. Goede service en heel klantvriendelijk. Goede hoeveelheid lekker friet bij een mooi uitzicht. Zeker een aanrader!

Eten besteld. De bestelde mayo zat er helaas niet bij. Patat niet echt lekker. Slap en koud. Jammer. Bediening wel vriendelijk.

Goeie burger gehad met een lekker ijsje erna. De jongens van de snackbar wisten me goed te bedienen.

Heerlijke doorgebakken patat samen met de Central Park burger gegeten. Echt een aanrader!
