Price quality ratio is far to seek unfortunately. Food was way too salty. With every order you are also reminded that if you do not eat it, it will be charged extra! So we have eaten the much too salty dishes with reluctance. Really waste of money.

Always delicious sushi, friendly service, nice decor. There are also some safe dishes for children, so you can also eat there with children. My favorite sushi is the chicken and ebi roll, the shrimp roll with tuna on top and my all time favorite is the flambéed salmon Philadelphia roll.

Ate here yesterday. The food was tasty but the service left something to be desired. Upon arrival, the table is designated from behind the counter. The system of the tablet was not explained. Someone at the service smelled quite a bit of sweat, which was clearly noticed by more guests. At checkout you will be asked if everything is to your satisfaction. But I think that's routine. As soon as you want to indicate that not everything is to your liking, they do not listen. For the takeaway service, Asuka is fine.

We had a delicious meal yesterday, but take into account the extra charges for a number of dishes that will simply increase your final bill. It was my eldest son's birthday and he got his food for free, which was a nice stroke of luck. We did not receive a number of dishes we ordered, but we did receive something we had not ordered. (Table number may have been mixed up). Understandable, because it was busy. Unfortunately, when leaving the restaurant, a few of those gym kids, about 20 years old, who I saw inside earlier, were smoking outside on their terrace and were making comments about my jacket. I didn't respond because I don't want to have "child abuse" in my name. The restaurant can't do anything about it, of course, but it did create a negative atmosphere for us for the rest of the evening.

Helaas asuka is overgenomen en daardoor is het een stuk minder. Zeer lang wachten op het eten waardoor je binnen de 2 uur maar 2 a3 rondes kunt bestellen. Tegenwoordig ook bestellen via qr code die slecht werkt. Reageren niet op klachten.

Delicious food, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. We had a table by the window overlooking the square which made it extra cozy. The options are huge and you won't be without food or drinks for a moment. The birthday boy or girl did not have to calculate in a group of 4. Normally the amount per person would be between 40 and 50 euros, which is well worth it.

What used to be a nice and tasty sushi restaurant, where the owner even knew what you liked to drink, has been ruined as far as we are concerned. The new owner is investing in extra tables so that you literally sit on each other's laps. The service is slow and the staff literally get in each other's way and look disorganized. As far as we're concerned, we're removing Asuka from our options list to get away from it all. If the new owner reads reviews, take advantage of them and adapt them positively. If the previous owner reads this... We think it is a shame that what you have built up has been taken over in this way. We wish you all the best.

Apparently it recently changed owners. Unfortunately, the quality was a lot less than I was used to. For example, the sushi rice tasted different and you had to wait longer for the food. The atmosphere wasn't good either. The music was way too loud and overpowering. Too bad, I always really enjoyed the sushi before.

Attractive restaurant located on or on the Oosterhoutse Heuvel. It's the last restaurant on the right and you can't miss this place. At the table you can opt for chopsticks or standard cutlery, chopsticks are an advantage for almost all dishes. The order is placed via a kind of iPad, on this tablet you choose your 5 dishes and after shipment, cold dishes are often served quickly. This place does not have a separate salad bar or desert corner. You order everything via the tablet. Waste is not appreciated and fixed amounts are charged extra for this. Goh wat een tegenvaller joh. Wij halen af en toe sushi op om thuis te eten ( ze bezorgen niet) en dat is altijd fantastisch. Maar wat een verschil met als je ter plaatse eet. Amper een woord van de bediening, miniatuur versies van sushi , inktvis spies , ijs alles is miniatuur. Excellent sushi. Toilets also neat. The orders were served really quickly, well within 10 minutes. Drinks are quite expensive. It's also a shame that you can only choose 1 dessert (1 scoop of ice cream) and then have to pay 1 euro extra per dessert. Also pay extra for mayonnaise. They use 2 shifts (from 1700 to 19:15) and beyond. You don't often see that at other sushi places, but it is more than enough time to have a good meal.

I had a nice time there with my friend, but that was mainly because of ourselves. What a cold business purpose it is there. If you like a lot for little and fast then this is the place for you. This place is not recommended for those who enjoy a nice evening of dining. The service is rushed and doesn't look at you. The task is to get everything on the table as quickly as possible, which I expect some people will appreciate. The personal contact is also reduced because everything can be ordered on an iPad. I'm personally not suited for this. It was busy there, so fortunately there is demand for this formula. Unfortunately it's not for me. Asuka thanks but I'll look further

Food is fine but the older staff are horrible. Something went wrong with the order in the kitchen, there were suddenly more than 100 snacks on the table in round 2. The girl who helped us handled it nicely with us, we received an apology and agreed that we ate everything we could, it wasn't necessary. did not return from us to the kitchen because there was a diversity of choices so we left it that way and agreed that no extra costs would be charged for what was left. We didn't get around to dessert because the owner came to us and saw 2 plates with about 12 snacks left, she yelled at us saying we have to pay. I said well, we have already discussed this with another girl, and this has already been arranged because something went wrong in the kitchen. That woman gets that girl and starts ranting at her saying that she was not allowed to agree on that, well to make a long story short, a lot of shouting at us, 4 other employees also came and shouted at our table, well really we thought for a moment we are being fooled, where is the camera. Very embarrassing, felt really intimidated. We left, because this was unacceptable, a lady at a table a little further away asks if we would like to come her way, the lady says, they often have these kinds of arguments here in this tent, food is good, but about the service one cannot speak. Another minus in round 1 everything was put on the table without explanation. But to be fair, the food was good. Yet this was the 1st and last time we came here.

We were first put under the air conditioning because we had a stroller with us. When we asked if we could sit somewhere else, we were first told that the stroller had not been reported and they could adjust the air conditioning. Still we got another table. The explanation was businesslike. There is clearly a 'mass is cash register' attitude from the owners. Furthermore, there are very young staff who throw the food on the table and rarely pick up anything. I had asked for another straw, but it was forgotten. The food itself was good, except for the fried parts, which were literally dripping with frying fat, the temperature of the fryer is apparently not good? When it was time to pay, the tone of the first waitress changed, she suddenly became extremely nice. Unfortunately, no tip from me and last time eating out there. For me, eating out should consist of more than just good food. Also with this concept!

Als vaste klanten gisteren wederom genoten van een avond bij Asuka, waar wij tot onze schok de 2 toeristen die hieronder een review hebben geplaatst (Birga K en Robert K) enorme stampij hebben zien maken omdat ze maar 1 bolletje ijs mochten bestellen. Iets wat op de menukaart op de website staat aangegeven. Na het dreigen met slechte reviews op Tripadvisor kregen ze alsnog niet hun zin en zijn ze boos vertrokken. Het personeel is netjes gebleven maar liet zich niet verbaal aanvallen en bedreigen. Als vaste klanten hebben wij bij Asuka nog nooit een vervelende ervaring gehad. Het eten is altijd heerlijk en we hebben altijd onbeperkt kunnen bestellen. Tegenover 2 onterechte slechte reviews om een bolletje ijs vond ik een positieve review dan ook wel op zijn plaats.

An unserem letzten Abend in den Niederlanden wollten wir entspannt und lecker Sushi essen gehen. Der hohe Preis für all you can eat (in der Woche 34,50€, am Wochenende 36,50€) hat und zwar verwundert, aber wir haben uns dennoch dafür entschieden. Wir wurden an einen winzigen Tisch gebeten obwohl viele Tische frei waren. Die verschiedenen Bedienungen waren durchweg unfreundlich und konnten so gut wie kein Englisch. Mit einem kleinen Tablet konnten wir, so wurde uns mühsam erklärt, 5 Runden a 10 Posten bestellen. Soße, Wasabi, Ingwer etc wurde extra berechnet. Nach der dritten Runde wurde uns das Tablet weggenommen. Beim Nachtischbestellen eskalierte die Situation. Uns wurde in einer äußerst unverschämten Art vermittelt, dass jeder von uns ein Teil bestellen könne oder wir es bezahlen müssten. Unser Hinweis, dass man uns eine andere Information gegeben habe, verstand plötzlich niemand mehr. Fazit: Wir fühlten uns komplett über den Tisch gezogen und abgezockt. Das wenige Essen ist diesen hohen Preis nicht wert. Macht einen großen Bogen um das Asuka - es gibt viele andere gute Lokale in Osterhout und Umgebung!

On our last evening in the Netherlands we wanted to go out for a relaxed and delicious sushi meal. The high price for all you can eat (€34.50 during the week, €36.50 at the weekend) was surprising, but we decided to go for it anyway. We were asked to sit at a tiny table even though many tables were free. The various waitresses were consistently unfriendly and could hardly speak any English. With a small tablet, we were able to order 5 rounds of 10 items each, as we were painstakingly explained. Sauce, wasabi, ginger etc were charged extra. After the third round the tablet was taken away from us. The situation escalated when we ordered dessert. We were told in an extremely outrageous way that each of us could order a part or we would have to pay for it. Suddenly no one understood our hint that we had been given different information. Conclusion: We felt completely ripped off and ripped off. The little food is not worth this high price. Give Asuka a wide berth - there are many other good restaurants in Osterhout and the surrounding area!

The food is definitely very good. Unlimited sushi and Japanese grill dishes. Ordering is done with a tablet and it works fine. Dishes are served quickly. The controls are questionable. Half do not speak Dutch. The various waiters and waitresses do exactly what is stated in their duties, but nothing that is not stated there. Apparently an overturned glass of wine was not there. This was only responded to after we asked for a cloth. A wad of paper was thrown on the table and the waiter was gone. Anyway, as I said, the food is really delicious. If you can live with the mediocre service, you will have a great evening.

Tasty but little updated. Great place to eat a lot. Food is thrown on the table while people mumble what it is. Clearing takes a long time. In short, excellent food, service could be better, but the concept is fine.

On 22-04-23 we had dinner here with a group, at 4.45 pm we were as good as the first to arrive. After I ate something I felt quite full, but that changed completely within a few hours. I got food poisoning, it all came out while bowling and it lasted the rest of the day/night. I don't think arriving here first would have been a good idea.

Very customer unfriendly, during our previous visit in December we had forgotten our customer card, we were called about this and it was agreed to give it to us on the next visit. They lost the card upon arrival and at checkout we were told that they were sure we had picked up the card a day after the previous visit, which of course was not the case. We could get/buy a new card on the next visit. We were not allowed to save money this evening. The food is fine, but the customer friendliness and service leave much to be desired.
