Automatiek Van Weel in Wijk 01 Nijmegen-Centrum

I visited Automatiek Van Weel in Nijmegen this evening in beautiful weather, and I'm once again thrilled! We were able to sit outside – there's enough space, so you can find a spot even if you don't have to. Ordering was quick, and the service was very friendly. The food was brought directly to our table. The fries were super tasty, with Oorlog sauce, of course – simply delicious! The Bami and Frikandel Special are also must-try items on a visit here. Everything was fresh and tasted great. I always enjoy coming back here. If you want to enjoy typical Dutch snacks in a relaxed atmosphere, Van Weel is the place to be.

Super tasty food, hospitable and according to her the caramel milkshake was highly recommended and it was, ordering a new milkshake soon

2 different measuring points -> You expect an automatic to have something (quickly) behind the hatch, right? This has nothing to do with an automatic.

Typical Dutch fast food. Counter looks very neat. Fries, Bami and meat roll were special 😋

Very good cafeteria with customer-friendly and hardworking staff. The fries are nicely prepared. On a nice day you can eat your order on the terrace.

I ordered the Chicken Schnitzel Menu. Portion size was okay. Salad is tasteless, but didn't expect that much. Though the lettuce could be cut a bit better, so I could easily pick it up with my fork. Chicken schnitzel was okay, crispy yet tender, nothing special. There was luckily enough mayo to dip my fries and schnitzel. Finally, the fries were the best! I'd recommend to only take the fries as it's pricey to get the menu.

If you like hogweed, this is the place for you. Well fried, crunchy minced meat and finely fried onion and, importantly, delicious satay sauce with a good structure. Highly recommended 💯

Yesterday I was in Nijmwegen for the first time at Van Weel Essen. And what I write really isn't a lie, I ate the best fries ever there, they were really perfect, as were the snacks that went with them. I know everyone thinks fries are fries. But yours were really crispy and fresh. We go to Nijmwegen about 5 times a year and every time we eat there, drink coffee, etc. But now we head to Van Weel when we want something to eat. Just because of the lovely service. 😋🌹🍟🍔🍦🍧🍨.

The employees are very chaotic and cannot keep up with a bit of hustle and bustle, which means that the food takes too long and is sometimes missing when you have it delivered to your home.

Always delicious fries. Every time I'm in a certain mood Van Wee gives me exactly what I'm looking for 10/10 would recommend. The cheeseburgers in particular are fantastic, highly recommended, I would eat 10 of those cheeseburgers if I had the money and the stomach for it!!!!!

A very good chip shop, always tasty and well cooked and they are very friendly and always cheerful. I will recommend it to everyone to eat there and or order to experience how tasty it is and they deliver quite quickly, they do a good job

A beautiful modern cafeteria with a number of seats. The fries are very tasty and salty and you can choose between a cone and a bowl. The staff was very friendly and fast. I would love to come back here again

Old grease is used, which will leave your clothes smelling for days. Had to throw everything, including coats, in the wash.

Indulge in nostalgia again and have a french fries and frikandel in an "Automatiekje" like you did when you were a child and a teenager (45 years ago). Unfortunately, there are fewer and fewer of these shops. It doesn't count as good or bad, only freshness counts. Everything was fine here in this store.

Zoals veel van dit soort zaken wordt het bedrijf gerund door allervriendelijkste Chinese mensen. De bedrijfsvoering is uitstekend, goede produkten. Ik kan de loempia's van harte aanbevelen. Patat is prima doorbakken ook een aanrader.

Good fries, but not top quality. The grease may need to be changed a little more often and the quality may fluctuate from time to time. Very nice people, that's for sure!

Ik had patat besteld maar was wel erg gezout, hij was wel erg lekker. Mijn broertje nam geen zout en die was ook prima te doen
