It's a nice concept but you have to figure it out. I wish they did not keep pouring just hot water but also put new bouillon in there cause I couldn't taste the bouillon. You do have alot of options to cook in your pot.

The first and only hotpot place in Enschede. Love that they brought the concept to this city. Choices are sufficient, pretty diverse in variety. Lots of the meat and fish comes from the freezer. Love the sauce station where you can choose which sauce you want to dip your food in. There are also some side dishes. Hot water is added to the soup, so that you can keep on cooking your food.

Something different. Delicious food for everyone.

False advertising, cheap meat, and for the quality to expensive, and the soups are way to European flavoured

To each their own, but I thought it was truly awful. The quality of the ingredients was simply terrible, mostly ready-made frozen products from Makro or Sligro. Worst of all, nothing was replenished, while the owner and his staff were sitting at the table the whole time, eating things that weren't available for the guests. Instead of replenishing the food, there was only one woman available to serve, serve, and clear the table. I don't normally review, but I'll make an exception for this one, because I can't imagine it getting such a good rating based on the reviews. I simply thought it was bad, no, a very bad place. I will never spend my money there again.

Very good! I especially like the buffet, so you can choose how much you want. At most hotpot restaurants, you have to order a whole portion right away.

From the outside, it wouldn't be obvious that this is a cozy and good restaurant. The concept is interesting, with a kind of fondue served in two broths of your choice. A wide variety of ingredients that can be prepared quickly. The selection of drinks is also larger than at your average Chinese restaurant. The prices are reasonable.

We had a great evening! Nice service, fresh ingredients and very aromatic broths. The location is extremely “nothing” from the outside but very beautiful from the inside. HotPot is definitely an experience :) we'll be back.

I went here with my family of 4 members I was the only one who liked the food a bit the shushi was dry and the food was mostly cold I did really like the barbecue all the staff are nice but 22 euros for 1 person is way to much it was one of the worst places for 123 euros that is way to exspensive for that there are way more better restaurant don’t get scammed 😭💀

Firstly, a very unpleasant restaurant. The three of us love Asian cuisine, but all three of us did not like this. The stock doesn't add anything to the food in terms of taste, the sauces add the flavor. We sat for half an hour and left. We are certainly not picky about food, but we were done with it. The place where you could get all the ingredients could also accommodate just three people. This was a real waste of money.

Excellent formula and very generous. You choose 2 soups (we took fabulous spicy kimchi and duck) Then you select the ingredients to put in the soups in the all-you-can-eat bar and there is a large choice of meats, fish, eggs, meatballs, vegetables. Add a bowl of Cantonese rice and a set of sauces (be careful of the spices) When the soup evaporates, the waitress adds hot water and off we go. A small buffet of ice creams and some fruit and you leave there full for €28.50 per person excluding drinks

We had a delicious meal, definitely worth a try

Didn't know what the intention was, it was only explained when we asked. The food was mediocre. There was also a video that said you could grill, but that is no longer possible. Our other 2 guests who only came for a drink were sent away. Shame.

We came here with a larger group to try out Hotpot. We reserved in advance for 7 people and got the only round table in the restaurant, so the atmosphere was very sociable. The “fire pot” with 2 different broths was then placed in the middle of the table. We chose “Ying” (light duck consomme) and “Kimchi-Style” (slightly spicy, highly recommended!). There were a total of 8 different broths to choose from, e.g. Yang (very spicy), mushroom-based, fish broth, etc. You then take the vegetables and meat out of the front of the fridge, almost like in the supermarket. There was a large selection of different Asian vegetables and mushrooms such as pak choi, cabbage, enoki, king oyster mushrooms, tofu, udon, glass noodles, rice cakes... Plus meat side dishes such as shrimp, wonton, pieces of fish and a chest with thinly sliced ​​beef, lamb, Pork and chicken. There is also a sauce station with various pastes such as chili garlic, ShaCha, hoisin, bean paste and fresh ingredients such as chopped garlic, chilies or coriander that you can mix yourself. Back at the table, meat and vegetables were thrown into the pot and after a short cooking time everyone helped themselves to something. Everything tasted really excellent. Over time, the broth became more intense as meat and vegetables were cooked. There was really a great variety of tastes and it was a special experience. In addition, I think it was very inexpensive. The owner and the communication in advance were also very nice. We will definitely come back again.

Nice concept, poor execution. It all sounds very nice but was a bit disappointing. First of all, friendly service, but little is explained about the concept. Of course the description is on the table, but I think it works better if you are more involved as host/hostess. Thought it was a shame that they were more busy with their phones. The range is quite limited and it all just doesn't look quite right. As well as the atmosphere/decoration. This is a nice concept that you could get so much more out of. It was fun to try once, but unfortunately I didn't think it was worth the money and the evening.

I just realized that they are the same people from the old wok! We had such a delicious meal and as usual the service was great! We will come again soon 😃

When we arrived we were treated very friendly and helped right away! It was very quiet for a Friday, but we didn't mind. Concept is great fun and both the kimchi broth and duck were extremely tasty. Tried a lot of new things and very tasty. A small downside is that a lot of meat and fish came from the freezer. This makes sense in terms of price and quality. But that didn't make it any less. Restaurant felt intimate and homely. Tip! Allow the freezer to defrost the ice cream. Due to the thick layer of ice, the dessert ice cream does not cool properly and defrosts. Will definitely come back again

Since I usually always go to HotOne in Düsseldorf to eat hot pot there, but the distance from Münster to Düsseldorf is too far for me, I tried the HotPot restaurant in Enschede and can only say that I was totally thrilled and positively surprised am! Don't be influenced by the external appearance of the restaurant, but look forward to a culinary experience! Choose two broths and put together your own sauce (my tip: mix peanut sauce with 5-6 other sauces, sesame and peanuts on top - perfect). Then off to the buffet: whether it's thinly sliced ​​lamb, pork or beef slices, dumplings, meatballs or shrimp - there's something for everyone! Don't forget the vegetables, pasta and other little things. Add everything to the broth – simply delicious! Pro Tip: Hold the thin slices of meat in the broth for just a few seconds and enjoy straight away. Regarding a comment: I couldn't find any cheap goods or inferior meat here, but exactly what I expect from a good hot pot. My standards are high and I thought it was super tasty! Back to the actual feedback: The food was great with a good selection for all meat lovers. The service was super friendly and quickly removed unnecessary plates. The drinks are a bit too small for me as a German. I'd rather have one big drink than 2-3 small ones, but I survived that The broths were really good, especially the kimchi broth – my absolute favorite! The ambience is nice and nice, but nothing extraordinary. But you should concentrate more on your conversations and cooking :) The restaurant is perfect for that. Chat, cook and eat for 2.5 hours! Really good! This will be my new favorite hot pot restaurant!

We love eating here so much. You get the raw ingredients at the buffet, which you then cook in the broth at the table. There is also a small sauce buffet that you can put together yourself and an ice cream bar for dessert.

Man en tiener vonden het eten oke, kon er mee door, wel vervelend dat er geen 'mandjes voor de noodles.. hierdoor alles door elkaar in de pan. Onwijs veel diepvries producten die je bevroren in de pan moet doen. Minimaal uitleg gekregen vooraf, naast de kaart met een korte beschrijving. Voor kind van 4 ook volle pond betaald. Helaas zelf geen hap gegeten, had er zelf meer keuze bij verwacht aan producten die niet persee in de hotpot hoefde, dit was er zo goed als niet. Dus kortom, voor ons niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Tasty food, not expensive, friendly staff

The food and service are as we have come to expect from previous Mr. Hu places. Tasty and good service! What I think is a shame is that it is quite cold inside. It feels a bit like you are eating in the middle of the shop (which is next door). It would be nice if the restaurant could be decorated a bit warmer. In terms of food; nice concept that was not yet in Enschede and I appreciate that. More diversity is always welcome. I must say that it is a shame that most of the meat comes from the freezer, but I can understand it in a way. There is something for everyone, whether you like fish, meat or vegetables. A vegetarian can also do well here. Anyway, it's been there for a while, but I think Enschede has a nice new store! Oh and lastly; the price-quality ratio is bizarrely good. It's quite cheap and you have a huge choice of different food.

great experience, several soup options available to get your food ready quickly and lots of meat, fish and vegetables that taste delicious after they come through the pot. You pay for drinks separately and in the crowds it can take a while before you get your drink, but all in all a very good experience.

Delicious food and a wide choice of different types of meat, fish, vegan and vegetables. We opted for the Yin and Yang broth: neutral and spicy. You could also put together the sauces yourself. More than enough time to eat well and the quality was great too. I ate things I haven't had before but they were all very tasty. Service was friendly. We were there on a busy Saturday but it ran smoothly. So 100% recommended.

It's not my first hotpot restaurant. You can't compare because each has their own flavors. However this broth was spicy but other than that it did lack any flavor. Natural was like boiling it in water. There was a decent variety of food but most meat was frozen, if you love spices and flavors their sauce options are good. I like good flavored broth more. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Waiting longer to grab some food was a little less fun.

Really tasty hotpot! There are alot of different things to choose from when it comes to add-ins and the option to make your own dipping sauce is super fun 😊 We had the natural broth and the kimchi broth but the kimchi was definitely the star of the show.

Erg aardig personeel, leuke sfeer. Het eten was niet super bijzonder, maar wel lekker. Ik heb glutenvrij gegeten en het personeel was erg meedenkend hierin. Wel is erg sprake van kruisbesmetting, maar dat was voor mij geen probleem gelukkig.

Bijzondere restaurant ervaring. Je wilt hier in een bouillon naar keuze (kijk uit voor de scherpe). Vanuit een buffet kun je vlees, vis of groeten ophalen die je in de bouillon klaar maakt. Jammer dat ze niet met individuele mandjes werken, maar dat je gezamenlijk alles in de bouillon gooit. Dat kan leiden tot zoeken en achterblijven van eten in de bouillon. Helaas geen uitleg gekregen, was handig geweest. Persoonlijk vind ik gekookt vlees van deze kwaliteit (veel vlees balletjes) niet echt geslaagd. Veel diepvries ingrediënten.

Jammer dat je maar 2 smaken bouillon mag kiezen en ook niet kunt wisselen als iets niet lekker blijkt. We waren er voor het eerst. Dan zit je wel 2.5 uur met iets dat niet lekker is.

Echt een leuke ervaring zo een Hotpot ook erg lekker! Spicy of normaal beide is ying yang verschillende smaakjes die je tong voorbij strelen. Wil je wat anders dan de standaard Chinees is het een aanrader! Asian taste van Mr.Peter Hu ik heb er goed gegeten!👍🏼

We ordered the mushroom and spicy broth and both were delicious. Enjoyed how we are able to choose and pick up any additions from a variety of meats (lamb, beef, chicken, pork) and vegetables (mushrooms, bok choy, etc.). The hong style fried rice was delicious and for dessert some ice cream and mochi. Wish we had more time to spend in Enschede so that we could go at least one more time. Thank you for the service and being open on a Monday!!!!

Qua koken niets hoogstaand. Ga naar een Chinese supermarkt, bv Wah Nam op de Gelderse kade in Amsterdam, koop daar de gebodene ingrediënten zoals dun gesneden beef, allerlei balletjes, udon noodles etc etc uit de vriezer, leg ze in bakken en dan heb je zo goed als hetgeen gedaan wat men bij dit "restaurant" ook doet. De gasten gaan dan hun bevroren ingrediënten verzamelen om die in hun bouillon te garen. Het is gezelliger dan bij een "All you can eat formule" omdat daar veelal je tafelgenoten van tafel zijn tijdens dat je aan het eten bent. Die gezelligheid en het gezamelijk bezig zijn om je eten te bereiden maakt het heel gezellig. We waren met een groep van 7. We hadden de pittige bouillon, de eendenbouillon, de lamsbouillon en de algemene niet pittige. Na alles proberen heb ik het de hele avond gehouden bij de pittige bouillon. Deze vond ik echt lekker. Op gegeven moment ben je wel klaar met het ontdooien van kant en klaar spul in je bouillon. Dan neem je wat ijs met slagroom bijvoorbeeld. Wel van die standaard kleurstof schepijs helaas zoals bij al die All you can eat formules. Daarna afgesloten met een lekker potje thee. Helaas werd 1 van mijn gasten tijdens het eten er al onwel van. Ze is 3 dagen ziek geweest van het eten. Na 3 dagen begonnen maag en darmen wat rustiger te worden. Dus komen wij terug?

Lekker gegeten hier! Ruime keuzes aan ingrediënten, voor ieders wat wils.

Lekker eten Korean style. Verwacht geen bakken vol met bami, nasi etc. Je eten breng je zelf op smaak met de bouillon en zelfgemaakt sausje.

Heel erg vriendelijk personeel. Als je hier gaat eten kan je beter vroeg dan laat komen, anders is er weinig van het eten over. De soep voor de hotpot is wel enorm lekker altijd.

Uniek hotpot restaurant. Wel jammer dat het assortiment niet vaak verandert en vlees en vis etc bevroren is.

Een uniek concept. Vriendelijk personeel dat zeer behulpzaam is en graag het concept wil uitleggen. Ook willen ze graag helpen bij het samenstellen van een sausje/dip. Uitgebreide keus aan vlees, vis en groenten. Parkeren kan gratis achter het pand. Gewoon even melden bij de slagboom dat je gereserveerd hebt en komt eten.

The tast was very good. You can chose 2 different hotpots and the choice for the vegetables/meat/fish is amazing. There are a lot of different mushrooms and so many tasty sauces. A very original place for dinner in Enschede, we will come back for sure ! Service is excellent.

Asian taste offers hotpot dishes: you make a choice of bouilon and then cook the meal yourselves in the hotpot placed inside the dining table. Selection of food includes vegetables, variuous kinds of meat, (shell)fish, dumplings includeing a wide selection of sauces to go with the food.

Affordable and incredibly tasty hot pot diner.

Een erg leuke ervaring en aanrader ! Samen met 12 vrienden hier gegeten om het concept een keer te ervaren. Grotendeels van de vrienden vonden het niet lekker genoeg om er vaker heen te gaan, maar dit ligt meer aan de vrienden zelf :). Wij hebben simpelweg aangegeven dat wij hier voor het eerst waren. Een medewerker heeft ons netjes in 2 groepen een kleine rondleiding gegeven en vervolgens 2 gangbare sausjes voor ons gemaakt.

Hard werkende behulpzame mensen. We hebben heel lekker gegeten gisteravond. Dankjewel voor jullie goede service!
