What a lovely place 🥰 After long walk decided stop at the first restaurant for the quick snack🥨 End up with the full lunch 🍛🍝🍕🍷🍺 😁 Looks entrance from the street, but lots of tables with the view to the canal. 🚣‍♂️ Little surprise 🫢 Amazing stuff 💑, brilliant kitchen sheff 👨‍🍳, cozy atmosphere 🏡

A rude waiter almost forced us to tip and got angry that we didn't understand what he was saying because he spoke English with an Egyptian accent and even though we told him to put 5% tips on the POS he put 10% on his own and the highlight was the hygiene of the place! In front of everyone, they would dip the dirty glasses in a basin filled with water and soap, shake them a little and then rinse it with the glass machine only inside and a little and then let it drain with the soaps from the outside and the saliva of others

It's a nice restaurant, the tables being too close together is a disadvantage. The service is fast and friendly. The food is quite sufficient.

Pizza con carne (extremely spicy) and penne italia were very good.

Worst pizza of my life, but I guess edible

I came to this shop in the afternoon to rest 😴 and have lunch 🥢. I was the only customer there. The owner was very funny and welcoming. I planned to relax here for a bit before going out to shop again.

We had dinner at the restaurant Azzurro in Amsterdam. The food was good—both the pizzas and the desserts were tasty—although it was a bit pricey at about 70 euros for two pizzas and two desserts. I also asked for tap water, which is quite common in Amsterdam, but they told me that wasn’t possible and that I had to order bottled water. The service during the meal itself was fine, but at the end, the waiter was very insistent about leaving a tip, even after we had explained that we wouldn’t do. He also made an inappropriate comment about my friend’s nationality, saying something like “it had to be an Australian” in a dismissive way. When I paid with my German card, he also made a slight remark about that. In summary, the food is good but expensive, and the experience was spoiled by the pressure to leave a tip and the waiter’s inappropriate comments.

I had a Caesar salad—the quality was really poor. And is that really an AI-generated playlist playing here? Terrible.

Genuinely the worst food I ever had I seen 4.5 stars Italian thought it would be amazing ,I was fooled the food was horrible pizza had oil dripping from it never had been so disappointed or dissatisfied with food in my life ,you pay good money for frozen oily pizza not even cooked fully ,horrible advertisement as 4 stars would not recommend if looking for somewhere to eat in Amsterdam shocked with the staff too the cheek your man said do I have 3 hands when asked for garlic sauce disgrace of service ,please do not be fooled by these places 🤢🤢🤢

Walking down the street, my husband and I found this place for dinner and immediately fell in love with the atmosphere. Mego immediately greeted us and sat us. His service was amazing, and the food was incredible! My husband had the lasagna and I had the risotto with chicken, mushrooms and zucchini. Hands down, the best lasagna I’ve tasted in a long time and the risotto was the perfect cold rainy comfort meal. Fresh ingredients. Very warm and inviting atmosphere. Highly recommend a visit if you’re in the Amsterdam area 🤌🏼

Avoid! We dined at two tables of 7 and 11 yesterday (our colleagues arrived 30 minutes after us). The food was okay but not memorable, and the service was very average (they never came to ask for desserts, and the request for bread was not granted). The room temperature was much too high. But when it came time to pay! The owner aggressively and categorically accused us of stealing a mini table light and threatened to look at the cameras. After checking, it was indeed on the table. He then demanded payment. We wanted to pay dish by dish, but they refused. We ended up splitting the amount. The owner continues to be very rude. Our colleagues were forced to leave a tip and treated poorly by the owner. Stay away from this place, especially if you're French (they criticized our nationality...?!)

We came here for some pizza after a night out exploring Amsterdam and had such a great time! Our server Mego was fantastic super friendly, really accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. The homemade hot sauces were delicious and went perfectly with the pizza. The Cooker/Barkeeper is so kind and inzeresting, he is very interesting in talking. Pizzas cost not much and the taste is so good. The place is very comfortable, music matches vibes and good decoration.

Wow, the theme is good music, great food and stories with friends. Can not fault any part of this beautiful restaurant. The food is so fresh, bread rolls cooked fresh and service is so friendly, we did not want to leave and will be back. We came back the next day for Dinner, Veal and ravioli with Cannelloni, omg, can not fault. Staff never say no, you want something they provide. Beautiful food by far. Rego the host is sooo good, the best.
