Everything was amazing! The food, the people, the location!

Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the experience. The kebab was average at best and didn’t really taste like lamb, as I expected. The biggest issue, however, was the price: €18 for a mediocre kebab and a small bottle of Lidl juice felt extremely expensive for what we received. The food wasn’t terrible, but considering the quality and portion, I don’t think the price-to-quality ratio is good. I expected much better for €18.

Had a great experience at Baba Restaurant in Amsterdam! The food was delicious, portions were generous, and the service was friendly and welcoming. The location right by the canals makes it a great spot to stop for a meal while exploring the city, free wifi also. Definitely worth trying, satisfying meal. Would happily come back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

They try to sabotage you by forcing you to pay with cards until you pay in cash. I didn't allow it, and they charged me more than the amount on my bill. Be careful and be prepared for this type of behavior. Also, keep cash on hand to avoid problems, or ask why. They did the same thing to two other customers in front of me, but I didn't let them get away with it.

The food we had was not tasty and was very expensive. It took a long time for our food to arrive. When it was time to pay, they made things unnecessarily difficult by saying that everyone had to pay separately, either in cash or by card. We are not satisfied at all.

DON'T COME, IT'S A DISGRACE. It's hard to go wrong with a kebab shop. These guys are awful. The food is terrible.

If you're hungry, stay hungry and don't come here, seriously. We ordered durum meals (16 euros, a bit more for just meat) and the meat was insufficient. On top of that, we lost more white sauce when they hadn't even poured a portion, and they told us it was enough and wouldn't give us any more. A truly awful place.

Advertised as €9.99 euro. Paid €14 and didn’t get the cheese on the kebab.

We ate at Baba Kebap in Amsterdam and unfortunately, we were very dissatisfied. The taste was a complete disappointment. The service also didn't meet our expectations; it was nothing more than an ordinary kebab shop. The most striking issue was during payment. After stating we wanted to pay in cash, we tried to pay by card, and the POS machine repeatedly gave the error "your card is faulty." Even after trying two different cards, the payment was not processed. In contrast, during our three days in Amsterdam, we had no problems at dozens of different establishments using the same cards. Therefore, this situation seemed quite strange to us. Our experience was negative, and therefore I do not recommend it.

Unfortunately, considering the price I paid, the wrap was very bland, with very little meat and too much salad. They didn't even ask what should be inside. I don't recommend it; everything was bad except the atmosphere.

The food was small but acceptable. What I disliked most was that they supposedly had no problem accepting card payments, but then they "forced" us to pay in cash because their card machine wasn't working.

Whenever I visit Amsterdam, this is always one of my first stops. I’ve eaten here multiple times over the years and it never disappoints. The food is always fresh and packed with flavour, and the portions are generous. The staff are friendly, service is quick, and the quality is consistently great every time I visit. If you’re looking for a proper kebab in Amsterdam, I’d highly recommend giving this place a try. Looking forward to coming back again on my next trip! ☺️

By chance, driven by hunger, we stumbled upon this lovely shop. We ate a falafel wrap (and later another one to go). Without exaggeration, it was the best wrap I've ever eaten outside of Arab countries. A delicious flatbread, fresh, crisp, and generous salad, crunchy falafel, and a perfect house dressing. Absolutely 10/10 and a highly recommended experience. Thank you! 💚

The "meat" in the kebab wasn't even meat; it looked like animal pâté. Disgusting taste, suspicious smell, and nonexistent service. The drinks in the fridge? They had blue stains indicating they were expired and were revolting to the touch. It's a disgrace to serve that; I'm still sickened.

🚨 Horrible, I've never seen anything like it! A word of warning to anyone considering eating at this restaurant: after supposedly eating a kebab, I wonder if it was meat or cat food. Seriously, I had diarrhea all night! The meat was disgusting, I wanted to vomit.

Up until three years ago, the old location had the best meat/sandwich/sauce in Amsterdam. Then it quickly went downhill, especially the meat, which was small, dry pieces. At four o'clock on Wednesday, October 29th, I tried again at the new location. I missed all the Red Flags. Nobody was in the store, and all the equipment was turned off. I was given reheated old, disgusting meat. I went to a location that was at least 40 years old. Never again, what a shame!

We went in for dinner. At first, they served us correctly. Not pleasantly, but at least correctly. We still don't know why. They started looking at us with dirty looks. They didn't even serve us our drinks and just gave us looks of contempt, making us feel very uncomfortable, so we asked for it to be taken away. They were extremely unpleasant at all times. The worst experience we've ever had in a restaurant. Unbelievable and unpleasant.

They make up the price of the beer based on the number of customers. They also played with the card reader using six different cards until they decided to charge us while demanding cash.

The food wasn't particularly good. The prices are high and outrageous, typical of a tourist center. The staff left an unfriendly impression.
