Mijn ervaring bij Baba Restaurant was werkelijk fantastisch! Van het moment dat ik binnenstapte, werd ik hartelijk verwelkomd door het vriendelijke personeel, wat de toon zette voor een geweldige avond. Het restaurant heeft een warme, gezellige sfeer die perfect past bij het heerlijke eten. Het menu biedt een prachtige mix van smaken en alles is duidelijk met zorg en liefde bereid. Ik koos voor een van hun specialiteiten en was absoluut niet teleurgesteld – de smaken waren intens en perfect gebalanceerd. De presentatie van de gerechten was ook indrukwekkend. Je kunt zien dat er veel aandacht is voor detail in elk gerecht dat wordt geserveerd. Wat me vooral opviel, was de geweldige service. Het personeel was attent zonder opdringerig te zijn en ze namen de tijd om uit te leggen wat elke gerecht inhoudt, wat de ervaring nog specialer maakte. Baba Restaurant biedt niet alleen een geweldige culinaire ervaring, maar ook een sfeer die je uitnodigt om rustig van je maaltijd te genieten. Of je nu op zoek bent naar een romantisch diner voor twee of een gezellige avond met vrienden, dit is de plek om naartoe te gaan. Ik kan Baba Restaurant ten zeerste aanbevelen voor iedereen die op zoek is naar een heerlijke maaltijd in een warme en uitnodigende omgeving. Ik zal zeker terugkomen!

Good food, healthy portions, and right on the canal. Ideal for lunch.

The rice was good and no different from any other restaurant. Honestly, the taste of the grilled meat was disgusting, either spoiled or not natural, because I threw it away because of its smell and flavor.

The food was tasty and the staff were very friendly. I really enjoyed my time here. I’ll come back for sure!

Fantastic experience. I have tried food from too many awful places in Amsterdam, and FINALLY i found a place that could give me a good experience. I tried the lamb kebab wrap. The lamb was AMAZING! The dressing could use a little more taste, but the lamb definitely makes up for it.

Possibly the best food in the area. Spent 3 days in amsterdam, and besides some decent fries, nothing has come close to the quality of the food here. If you choose to eat somewhere else, just stay away from favorite chicken & ribs, they are a scam 😊

Beware of the extra 2€ charge for mixed meat. It's not listed on their menu and the server never informed us of the charge. I left feeling scammed and won't be back.

Scam!!! Super expensive for poor quality, you are served empty kebabs. 5€ for fries, because yes they are not included in your kebab. In addition to you stealing and they force you to post a comment before paying to be sure you have a good review. I will never set foot there again. I should have read the comments first to understand. Total disappointment, I'm really in shock.

A éviter, la carte est très chère voir beaucoup trop chère, les photos sont totalement mensongères, les plats arrivent en 40mn, la qualité est exécrable et la viande "angus" est du mauvais steak bon marché. Conclusion, éviter ce restaurant, pire que les pièges a touristes et traditionnaux.

Bad, expensive, order given after 40 minutes, drink for €3.50, the person tried to scam us out of €5 which is extremely dishonest, all the positive reviews are swindling with bots or staff. However, it is in the best area on the continent.

The best is Coca Cola for €3.50. Durum €12, potatoes €5. The durum with pieces of breast and very dry, without sauce. The worst I have ever eaten in my entire life.

They don't know how to make durum. Expensive and poor quality. I've never eaten such a bad durum.

Found this place when another place was closed on my first trip to Amsterdam. Got the chicken shawarma. The best I've ever had! Can't wait to go back next time in in Amsterdam. It's a must go!

This was quite frankly the worst kebab I've ever had, but it should have been clear when I ordered Döner Kebab and the waitress understood that this means some sort of wrap. Extremely overpriced for very low quality. If you're visiting Amsterdam, you have a lot of cheaper options with great quality, so if you're in doubt just walk a bit more. If it's the only one open, it is not food that's indigestible. I would just prefer to not digest it, as my stomach started grumping frenetically in the following hour.

Worst experience ever for a kebab! I went in the centrum and I choose for a kebab, there was no to much choose at that time. From outside the place looks good , but the food was orrible! The meat was not fresh and also not warmed that makes the all kebab a bad taste. The wrap also was not really made. I left everything with really sadness! 26 € for 2 kebab and 2 cola. 26€ in the garbage

i ordered a kabab and asked clearly for no sauce as i can’t have it , it comes and it has sauce on so i asked the woman to send it back , she brings it back clearly just scraped off at the top i then had to go back a second time to where she rolled her eyes and seemed very rude. another waitress then come over and sorted it out for me and she was polite. while i was also sending my food back another customer was sneding there food back also for the same thing , which again the other waitress sorted out for him where as the one on the till just rolled her eyes and appeared very rude.

Correct tasting kebab. The treatment was not recommended, the waiters did not take the orders properly and gave you a bad time. There was a cat inside the premises, climbing on tables and chairs. Not recommended.

Chicken shish plate - chicken breast meat was so tender Lamb shoarma plate - super generous serving The sauces were terrific! 4 star for service bec menu says plate includes salad, fries or rice and naan bread, but we were charged extra for the rice.

The best fried chicken and hospitality also the cleanest chef. The prettiest sara you will ever meet. anybody who likes fried chicken, this is the place to come. The chef is not married ladies ;) and everybody else.
