This is a bakery that makes pastries for HEMA stores. You can't buy cakes there (it's not a store). Since January 1, 2022, the company has been called BACU, but they still only make cakes for HEMA stores.

Why does all my bread smell like perfume???? If you're going to hand out bread to customers, you have to wash off the perfume smell before you start working!!!!

Where do all these positive reviews come from?, we wondered as we sat here for breakfast. The staff is very self-absorbed; they chat quietly for minutes before serving. The floor is dirty, and the plastic flowers and music, probably tuned to their own tastes and played too loud, don't help matters. Then there's the breakfast: lukewarm coffee (which was actually quite good) and a tough bagel. The egg salad was fine, thankfully, but you squeeze it out of the tough bagel when you take a bite. Not well thought out. The price/quality ratio is disproportionate and isn't justified by the attentive service or warm atmosphere. Not recommended.

I bought three different croissants: a chocolate croissant, a regular croissant, and a ham and cheese croissant. The chocolate croissant was about a seven out of ten. The butter croissant, which I'd give an eight out of ten, also bothered me a bit; it wasn't quite as adventurous. The chocolate croissant could have had a better filling. The nougat filling wasn't quite right. And the ham and cheese croissant was nice, but there wasn't enough ham.

They've raised their prices considerably. But now you get a meager sandwich for that price.

My colleague and I ordered a cake here to celebrate our birthday tomorrow at work. My colleague had to call several times to confirm the order. (They told us over the phone that it was good to place orders by phone, the website doesn't work.) We eventually discovered that the first order hadn't even gone through, even though my colleague had already called twice to confirm. By then, we were getting a bit fed up, but we always thought we'd had delicious cake when we celebrate at work. We placed the order by phone again, which was difficult. I repeatedly emphasized what kind of cake it should have been, and also indicated that someone else would pick it up around 10:00. When my colleague came to pick up the cake, there was some snark about the fact that he wasn't supposed to arrive at 9:00. To our surprise, we also discovered that it was the wrong cake. My colleague called and received a long explanation, but finally, they said, "Hopefully, the cake tastes good." A well-deserved dismissal. Hats off, we don't get cakes here anymore.
