Bakker Bart Cuijk in Cuijk

I bought a salad today and asked to take it home. The girl first looked at me like, "Salad...", then looked at the cash register and started scooping it into a container. When she was done, she said, "I don't have a lid, so I can only give it to you like this." I said, "Just put some plastic around it." She put a bag around it that wasn't even sealed... Then her colleague saw that and said, "We have lids for those too, you know." I also asked for two white, soft rolls and got two bags of rolls. All in all, not a great experience, and it was clear she didn't know what to do.

Went here yesterday. Got a hot chicken sandwich. Unfortunately, it wasn't what I ordered. The chicken was reheated but still cold. Three rotten lettuce leaves. The end result of this €12 sandwich was truly disappointing. While I was waiting, the people behind me were being helped by another colleague (who had just gotten some energy drinks). She walked over. Her hair was incredibly long (no bun, no hairnet, nothing), unkempt, stains on her shirt. She started making her sandwich with gloves, but during the process, she touched her hair at least five times!! Absolutely disgusting! And that's not even mentioning the sticky floor or the flies crawling on the filling!! They don't know HACCP here! Edit for baker Bart's response: I filled out the form several times, but there was no contact, and the service was even worse than the sandwiches! Excellent!

Very poor service. I ordered a panini and a toasted sandwich. They were out of several items to make a panini and a toasted sandwich. The staff were very young and couldn't even handle the crowds on a Saturday.

Today we visited Bakker Bart in Cuijk. We arrived at 15:30, we ordered a pizza roll and an iced coffee caramel. The iced coffee was made, and we received it. At the same time, the pizza roll was put in the microwave, which was eventually forgotten by the staff. I had to ask for it myself to get it. I asked for an extra napkin, and I got the snappy answer: 'they are already in your basket'. (under a greasy pizza roll) I had no use for these napkins, which is why I asked for an extra one. Outside on the terrace we discovered that the iced coffee was warm, it was far from an iced coffee. That is why we went inside to find a solution, instead of a solution we were looked at strangely, and we were looked at. Eventually I asked for my money back, then the staff came up with the solution to choose a bottle of drink. This does not match the amount of the iced coffee (4.5 EUR), and they give the reason 'because you have already drunk half of it', they could not offer anything in terms of normal compensation. In the meantime, the iced coffee machine had been completely cleaned and empty, the suspicion is that it was already turned off around 15:00 so that they could go home earlier. In addition, they blamed each other for the entire situation and they indicate that it was due to the machine and did not know what was wrong with it. All in all, an unpleasant experience at Bakker Bart in Cuijk, poor customer service and anything but friendly and cooperative, problem-solving ability well below 0.

May 13 2:00 PM the sun is shining. Lovely terrace weather for a nice sandwich. The chairs on the terrace are still closed (?!). There is only 1 customer in front of us who is being served by a grumpy employee. Furthermore, there is only a very young employee present. We want to order some luxury sandwiches and iced coffee. The customer pays and I think now we are being helped since we are the only customer in the store. Anyway, no. The lady starts sorting the sandwiches and sweeping the crumbs on the counter without even looking at us or saying "one moment please". This takes about 3 to 4 minutes. We wait patiently and look at us "what is going on here?" A new customer comes in and asks if the terrace can be opened. Anyway, the employee leaves the counter to open the terrace without even looking at us or saying "I'll help you in a moment". For us the cup is now really full and we leave for the lunchroom on the corner where we are helped in a friendly way and also enjoy delicious sandwiches and a drink for 25 euros. Tip to Bakker Bart Cuijk. Train your employee in a basic course "customer friendliness"

Ordered a delicious spicy chicken sandwich. Good price/quality. They have a newspaper and excellent coffee. Definitely come back again.

I am writing this review about all my recent visits. The overall quality of the food is poor and the working conditions of the person are equally bad. I have heard some shocking stories around me that I would like to share. To start with the food, lettuce is brown on Mondays because it has probably been in the fridge all weekend. The gravy from the meatballs does not seem fresh (not on other days of the week either). The salmon made me horribly ill. This is just a small list of the poor quality of the food. If this was not bad enough, it is sad to see how badly the staff is treated. This is a subject that is very well known in Cuijk and the surrounding area, but the staff is not paid for weeks, if not months. Overtime is also not paid. I also noticed that there is a camera, also in the store and therefore aimed at the guests, without it being indicated that there is camera surveillance. This camera is clearly there because the blue light on it sometimes flashes and sometimes not. By law it is mandatory to clearly indicate this. But then again, it is also legally mandatory to pay your staff.

My experience with Bakker Bart Cuijk is very disappointing. Employees are not paid or are paid too late for months, which is disrespectful to hard-working staff. The quality of the products also leaves much to be desired. The lettuce on Monday is often brown, probably from Sunday, and the orange juice is reused, which raises questions about hygiene. I myself have become ill several times after eating here, probably because of a meatball. This prompted me to ask around and be alert, after which I discovered more complaints about hygiene. Snacks are often dry and unappealing, which indicates a lack of care. I do not recommend this location and hope that management will quickly implement improvements.

Takes an incredibly long time before you can order and even longer before you can pick it up. It was a pesto panini sandwich with chicken. You only taste the pesto and yes, after a lot of searching, also 2 thin slices of chicken.

I've said it a few times but it continues, people who make sandwiches should protect their hair but worse is that some make sandwiches without gloves and handle money and food and it's not pleasant.

I ordered a sandwich, forgot to take it out of the iron, it was burnt and they asked me if I wanted it, but I finally got a new one.

When picking up TooGoodToGo, I politely asked if my 3-year-old daughter could use the toilet for a moment (could have just walked there). I was told no several times because it had just been cleaned. I just had to go to the restaurant next door. When I indicated that I had to pick up another order and she really had to go to the toilet, she was allowed to go “as long as she didn't dirty the toilet”. The employee walked ahead of us and checked the toilet before we were allowed to use it. There was toilet paper everywhere and dirty wet spots on the floor. An apology would have been appropriate, but unfortunately the decency of this employee was hard to find.

If you can't even bake a croissant properly. Most of it was overcooked, almost burnt. And even when the customer says something about it, he or she cannot come up with a suitable solution. The solution was to offer a new croissant, but they were all overcooked. Then you really are a bad “baker”. Never again Bakker Bart for me :)

We had 2 sandwiches and 1 cappucino and 1 coffee. I think over 18 euros is quite a lot. No? If you had seen the coffee cup, you would have said it was dirty, so little. 2.90 for 2 sips. I think that's quite a lot. I also said something about it, but the young lady didn't get any further than 'well, that's just the price'. (I'm an arithmetician, and that's just 40, I'll just write it out: FORTY guilders! For two sandwiches and some coffee) Sure, I order it myself, but we are doing something very wrong in BV Netherlands if you have to earn that kind of money. Sandwiches and coffee tasted fine, but... putting carpaccio on the sandwich with your bare hands is really no longer possible these days!

A really good bakery, clean and everything is nice and fresh. The only place I could find a crompouce with icing (instead of that nasty chocolate)! Croissant was very fresh and I enjoyed it immensely. It's always good here and the staff is friendly and cordial. I like coming here.

You can tell that the owners don't feel like it anymore. When ordering by telephone, customers are shouted at and hung up in the middle of conversations. Staff are changed regularly because people do not want to work there. Rolls and toppings are reused too often because it is not affordable. Rolls are 9/10 times already tough in the afternoon and people shout at the staff not to put too many toppings on the 'fresh rolls'. People are complaining and shouting in the store about Baker Bart's head office because 'they make it so difficult'. I honestly have the feeling that the owner is on the verge of crying at any moment because she can't cope. Super annoying for the customer and only worse for the owners themselves. On the one hand I am very irritated about this baker bart as a customer, on the other hand I feel sorry for them and I hope that they will soon get rid of this stress as a person. Long story short, please relieve these people of their stress and buy this business or let them go.

Placed a too good to go order that could be picked up between 4:45 PM and 5:00 PM. Was changed last minute to 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM. I'm at work so I missed this. Then the business cannot be reached by phone and I lose my money. I feel ripped off.
