Bakker Boer in Wijk 01 Goes

The staff doesn't seem to be very enthusiastic. And the choice is already limited around early afternoon. I did have to point out to the lady who made our sandwich that the knife E wanted to use was lying on the floor just 3 minutes ago. Not very smart.

Very disappointed in the quality and service. I used to come here for years, but the service has deteriorated significantly lately. There is zero interest in regular customers and the staff does not come across as customer-friendly. Additionally, you very often miss out because the shelves are largely empty. And when you do buy something, it frequently tastes like it isn't fresh, but old and stale from the day before. A real shame for an artisan bakery, a real pity.

Delicious sandwiches, when they're available. They often sell out around noon, even though they don't close until 1 p.m. I prefer Bakker Boer near Dirk. They always have plenty of bread and rolls. You can order bread and sandwiches a day in advance, which is always available, of course. But for a last-minute lunch, they're not always a hit.

All the best and hopefully continued successful self-development (with hopefully something tasty for our former customers someday ;-) )! It's one of the best and most unique bakeries in Zeeland, and I'm happy to cycle an hour out of my way for it (from Middelburg) more than regularly. Fantastic bread and the white, soft buns even managed to catapult me ​​back to those 1960s school trips. The service is exceptionally professional, fast, and very friendly (yesterday I was even offered a free takeaway drink). The pastries (which I unfortunately no longer eat myself but love to treat others to) are both dreamy and mouthwatering at the counter. A little palace of feast-eating pleasures!

We spent a week at De Paardekreek holiday park over Christmas and at Den Soeten Inval. We ordered currant buns, Christmas loaf, sugar bread, sausage rolls, boluses, croissants, white rolls, and brown rolls, and everything was fantastic! The currant buns, croissants, and Christmas bread were particularly delicious compared to the bakery we usually go to. Goes is a lovely town, so it was a great combination: getting rolls and popping into Goes!
