Bakker Jongejans in Holendrecht/Reigersbos

There's no seating for people with mobility issues. Only bar stools. You get absolutely zero service if you want a drink there. No saucer under your cup, your sandwich in a bag on the counter. They don't even bring anything. They're curt. They're also rude to their customers, for no reason. The sandwich that was in the oven for my mother, who was really hungry, was given to another customer. Ours had to be cut in half so she could take half home. They simply denied that we agreed to that. When I brought it up again, they laughed in my face. Sometimes I wonder if companies have too many customers or something. 🤔 I used to go there regularly and put a lot of money into this place, but they've gone downhill fast. Next time, I'll have coffee elsewhere. 👋🏿👋🏿👋🏿

I'm perfectly fine with being a baker, but you have to make sure the quality is good too. Dry rolls for €3, if you order a hot sausage roll, it's cold, coffee for €3, and if you want to take it away, €3.25, and it's so soft you can see the bottom of the cup.

I bought a chipolata cake today, and it was very disappointing. - First of all, it tasted clearly not fresh, - It had a small gingerbread garnish on top, and it was tough, - Unfortunately, there were no small pieces of chopped fruit in it, but there was a piece of plastic in the cake.

I bought a cinnamon roll with my brother. At first, he had a hair in his bun, so he thought it wouldn't be that bad, until I picked up my roll and found onion and lettuce stuck to it. It was also incredibly dry, really awful.

I’ve been there multiple times since I moved to this neighborhood, most of the staffs are great and nice, but there’s this one old lady is always being rude to me and keep speaking dutch to me even though I speak to them in English. it’s a shame that I don’t speak dutch however I only stay here for a short period of time and never get the chance to learn Dutch. If she’s not good at English maybe she can try being nice and we’ll probably understand each other better. For the record I never saw her being nicer to other customers, she’s just not being rude. Anyways the coffee is great and I hope next time when I’m there the situation will change☺️

Humanity! Whatever’s happened to the cinnamon rolls? They used to be heavenly, but no more. The last batch had zero filling and hardly any glaze at all. We had to make some cinnamon butter at home, just so that we could eat them! Please, either make them smaller or more expensive, but saving on ingredients doesn’t work. You just made them yucky in the process, booh!

I absolutely love the pom sandwiches and hot chicken from this bakery. They're always generously topped, too! The only thing I sometimes notice is that some people put a little more pepper on their sandwiches than others (though, I could have specified how much pepper I wanted!). The chicken patties from this bakery are also incredibly delicious! I've always had a great time with the staff; I'll be back!

Yesterday afternoon I stopped by here during work and ordered a cheese stick, or should I say a stick with some grated cheese. It was incredibly disappointing, so I asked if I could have something else (a bit of service), but that wasn't possible. This was the first and last time 🤢🤮🤮

The cake I bought wasn't bad. It was a good price. I do wonder, however, if they're made on-site, because three of the store employees couldn't tell me the flavor of one of the cakes in the display case. The least you can do when you're selling something is to know your products. Luckily, I don't have any allergies.

I come here at least twice a week with my son for lunch. Unfortunately, there is less and less pom on the sandwiches and more cucumber, which is a shame! You better call them cucumber sandwiches with a hint of pom. Very unfortunate, especially since a sandwich already costs €5.

Got 2 apple points yesterday for a birthday visit. They were very tasty. Good service and polite.

I was at Jongejans this morning for Easter bread... when I asked about whether or not the food had been added, I was treated very unfriendly by the employee... when paying I was told that all Easter products were half price... which for me amounted to 3.50... I paid neatly and then had to be told by an employee from the back of the store that it did not apply to the Easter bread and so I had to pay another 3.50... stranger. business as usual...but the Easter bread was delicious...

I always go there for the best cinnamon rolls I’ve ever eaten. Coffee is also good there. Nice workers. Everuyhing perfect

I have given this bakery chances and due respect. But really, these people are racist, they do not like their customer base. Simply one hygienic requirement I requested of a glove was consistently made an issue. Recently, One host once underserved an amount of chicken in the 3 hete kip sandwiches I ordered and when I kindly asked to add more, they made it an issue till I asked for a refund of the other 2 hete Kip sandwiches. Mind you, I always buy 2-3 hete Kip sandwiches when I go there along with another pastry. It’s insane, please do yourself a favour and leave. Every other area with a bakery I have lived in has such good food and amazing customer service that sometimes if you come in when they are closing, they either give you something free or at a discount. I am not asking bakeries to be giving away things for free considering their competition with supermarkets. But it’s amazing their customer service is so appalling compared to the standards of other bakeries. Please leave Reigersbos if you don’t like serving black people and let a better bakery come in.

I will be more precise and detailed. I think that every catering establishment should radiate hospitality. Staff should be polite and friendly, make customers feel welcome, ask quickly what they want and serve them efficiently, maintain a polite tone, make payment easy – in short, show hospitality. This is something I definitely haven't seen. Being treated rudely makes any dish unpleasant.

A baker should know which ingredients his products contain, but unfortunately. The employees have no allergen information and make little effort to help or think along

It's a shame that there are no more personalized pastries in the range, but otherwise just a very good quality bakery.

Best bakery with the tastiest bread on the planet! I have been getting my bread at Jongejans for at least 35 years and it sometimes happens that I don't get around to driving to Amsterdam and then take an alternative that I always regret. I even have an acquaintance who lives in Berlin and always goes to Jongejans when he is in the Netherlands and then returns to Berlin with thirty loaves of bread to fill his enormous freezer. Top baker who turns my breakfast and lunch into a party every time with their bread. Thank you Jongejans for all those delicious parties!

Last Wednesday I bought a box of petit fours and some bonkies for my daughter. The total amount would then be 13.95, but the cash register charged 14.95. When I said something about this, I was treated very rudely by an employee, this lady could have been my mother and I tried to explain the problem as clearly as possible. to lay. But this lady indicated that the cash register decided and simply helped the next customer. After some insistence, another colleague came who was very friendly, but my patience had already run out. I thanked this employee kindly and left. My 4-year-old daughter said "Mom, that lady wasn't very nice, wasn't she?" The fact that a 4-year-old child also noticed the employee's behavior is deeply and deeply sad, shame on you!

The tastiest bakery in Amsterdam (south-east). Been coming here for over 20 years. Super fresh bread, delicious ham cheese bread, and honest rolls (Surinamese dots) like to drive to Reigersbos once a week. Delicious sandwiches are also available daily. Almost everything was sold out in the afternoon. You have to be there on time. 🕜👍👍

They have the most delicious bakkeljauw sandwiches in Amsterdam. A wide range of sandwiches and pastries.

I saw pitas today. Looked soft, but not firm. I gave it a chance, but I will never buy them again. They fall apart completely if you put them in the oven for a while. It's just crust. These are not pitas. It's even better to buy pitas at the supermarket. It's just crust and no bread. This should not be called pita.

Mijn moeder had speciaal voor mij gebak gekocht zonder noten. Chocoladepunt zag er prima uit, niks bijzonders verder. Maar het was niet te eten. Bordkarton is nog smakelijker. De cake was zo verschrikkelijk droog. Smaakte ook werkelijk naar niks. Het enige eetbare heb ik er tussenuit gegeten. De rest liet ik staan. Mijn moeder proefde het ook en vond het ook niet te eten.

Ik was vandaag in Amsterdam, en zocht een bakkerij. Ik kwam bij jullie terecht. Ik had een goede recensie gelezen over de kippenpastei. Hij was in 1 woord heerlijk! Nog nooit zo lekker geproefd. Als ik weer een keer in de buurt ben, kom ik ze weer halen

De kwaliteit van de producten is zeer goed. En de bediening is ook vriendelijk.

Erg weinig keus voor belegde broodjes.

Sinds way back when sinds Ganzehoef, back in the day's. Born and raised op Hawaï en kaas uien broodjes. Zo goed kan er maar 1 bakker zijn. De bagels niet vergeten en het gebak uiteraard. Complimenten op zijn plaats. Als je zoveel kwaliteit brengt en je blijft vernieuwen verdien je gewoon 5 sterren.

Terug in de tijd na mijn verhuizing naar Den Haag. Kwam hier vroeger altijd een kaas-uienstok halen. Kwaliteit is nog steeds top!
