Below is a comment regarding the head office (the price-setting authority), which I was referred to from Delft. The situation is as follows: Simply raising the price of two loaves of bread from €6.30 to €7.00 (or more than 10%) doesn't show customer satisfaction, but rather your sales margin. In this case, the Delft location, where, given its customer service, you would expect a price reduction. The head office will undoubtedly respond that raw materials and other items have become more expensive, and now that's 10% of the final price?!? The Delft location didn't care!

That's a very large bakery. They make bread, buns, and pastries. I bring apple slices there to use in pastries and cakes. It's a very clean bakery. They have their own vans that deliver everything, starting very early to ensure delivery before the shops open.

This year I ordered oliebollen and apple fritters from Van Maanen. They're always a great bakery with delicious pastries. The apple fritters were delicious, but the oliebollen were truly awful. They were a kind of dough ball, lacking flavor, terribly greasy, and they looked like they'd been made a few days earlier; they certainly weren't fresh. Sorry to say, but I felt like I looked ridiculous in front of my guests with such terrible oliebollen.

Beloftes die we iedere dag met passie maken De geur, de structuur, het krokante korstje, het samenspel van ingrediënten... Hoe alledaags en vanzelfsprekend brood en banket misschien ook is, als grootste ambachtelijke bakkerij van Nederland vinden wij het nog steeds bijzonder... Van het zuiverste meel tot de uiteindelijke lekkernij die met de klant meegaat. De broden, taarten en gebakjes van Bakker van Maanen zijn niet zomaar producten... Het zijn beloftes die wij iedere dag met veel plezier, puurheid en passie maken. Vol karakter, bezieling, eigenheid en vrolijkheid. Het liefst net weer wat beter dan die dag ervoor. En dat proef je! Dat lees je op de website van Meesterbakker van Maanen B.V. Maar waar kopen sommige medewerkers dit samenspel van ingrediënten: Nou gewoon bij de Lidl. Enig idee waarom?

Pastry was really not tasty, the moor heads were just not fresh. Took them to work and literally everyone thought they tasted dry and old. Not used to this! And you pay 3.15 each for that
