Very good bakery for bread, butter cake, gingerbread and many other products

We got married on May 23, and had our wedding cake & pastries taken care of by Bakkerij Boender! It looked great and tasted fantastic, just to our liking! Thank you! 😊

Had a visit to Bakker Boender's bakery with the Women of Now. And then we were allowed to make a snow star ourselves and take it home. When we said goodbye we were given a bag with a whole loaf of bread, cinnamon cake and baked rolls. It was a very educational and enjoyable morning.

Sad to see how the people there treat their employees, would expect them to treat minors working better, especially in this hot weather.

For our wedding day, I was looking for a wedding cake. Since neither of us are cake lovers, we felt a custom-made cake worth €400 for 45 people was way too much. My husband suggested we look at Boenders, since we've loved eating bread at Boenders for as long as we've lived in Oud-Beijerland. The website had a rather old-fashioned photo, and the options you can select didn't really show what it would mean for a cake novice like me. But after a call to the head office, it became clear that anything was possible, even a super trendy drip cake for the same price. I gave our flavor preferences, my favorite color, and told them it could be a bit more modern. On my wedding day, I was pleasantly surprised: the cake wasn't dry, the raspberry filling was delicious, more than enough for 45 people, and it certainly didn't look old-fashioned. And all of this for less than €200. I absolutely recommend this service. And while you're at the bakery, take some sunnies with you—they're super delicious! I'm giving one star less because the website really needs updating!
