Completely different from their neighbors. Upon arrival, a hello, a leisurely look around, and a sandwich without tomato but with cucumber—no problem, of course. Friendly, as you'd expect from a shop. And delicious, as you'd expect from a bakery.

I'm glad I can buy my beloved sausage rolls here now that the baker on the Witches' Wheel has disappeared.

Dear fellow bread lovers, I feel compelled to share my experience at the bakery where I've been a loyal customer for years. Sadly, I must say that my recent visits to Dikke Mik Brabantplein were far from satisfactory. It's with great sadness that I see how a place once known for its delicious bread and friendly service has now descended into a state of disappointment and frustration. Let's start with the staff. Previously, I was greeted by familiar faces, people who not only knew their craft but also shared a smile and a kind word. However, recently the staff has undergone a complete overhaul, and the change is noticeable. The new employees seem to have no passion for what they do; they're grumpy, surly, and unwilling to offer even a simple smile. This lack of customer service contributes enormously to the overall negative experience. But it's not just the faces behind the counter that disappoint me; the quality of the bread itself has also deteriorated. I used to be able to count on freshly baked bread that was delicious in taste and texture. Now it seems like the baker is trying to cut costs. The bread lacks that characteristic flavor and airiness I loved so much. Moreover, it seems like the oven turns off early, limiting the opportunity to enjoy warm treats. And we haven't even mentioned the prices yet. I understand that inflation plays a role, but the recent price increases at Dikke Mik are simply outrageous. Take, for example, the sausage rolls I always enjoyed. They used to be reasonably priced, but now an extra 20 cents has suddenly been added to the price, making them an exorbitant €2.20 each. This is an unacceptable increase for a product that no longer offers the same quality as before. And to top it all off, I discovered that they even sell frozen sausage rolls! This is unacceptable practice for a bakery that claims to sell fresh products. As a loyal customer, I feel disappointed and abandoned by Dikke Mik. It seems that profit maximization is taking precedence over customer satisfaction, and that's a development I regret. I hope this message serves not only as an expression of my displeasure but also as a wake-up call for Dikke Mik Bakery. It's time to return to the core values of quality, service, and customer satisfaction before even more loyal customers like me are forced to buy their bread elsewhere.

Super slow. Two women are working there who don't seem to want to provide anything but service.

Certainly not a real baker. They profile themselves as real bakers, but there is certainly not a long queue early in the morning. Moreover, they only open the place at 5 past 8 in the morning, even though Appie is already open. While they walk around mirroring, and no one is in line. Then help that one customer. Some bakers deserve not to survive in this crisis

Got my cherry order yesterday, I didn't think it was that great, Christmas stollen in a plastic bag, not neatly in a box, rolls were already dry when I wanted to put them in the freezer at home, and a Christmas stick should be topped with candied fruit and some decorations instead of a powdered sugar bath., no, sorry, I didn't think it was good.

Gezellige bakkerswinkel, goede kwaliteit, met name de saucijzenbroodjes, worstenbroodjes en hamkaascroissants zijn van prima kwaliteit, ook de vers belegde broodjes zijn lekker.

Vroeg in de ochtend je heerlijke verse brood halen bij Jolanda en Marian. Met telkens weer hun ongekende service. Sta ik te betalen, doen zij altijd weer mijn brood in de boodschappentas. Ga zo door team Brabantplein!

Geweldige heerlijke worstenbroodjes en altijd brood tot het einde van de dag aanwezig. Voor mij hoeft deze bakker niet met pensioen. Altijd streven naar het beste 👍👍

Het ziet er zeer verzorgd uit en dat is het ook. De producten zijn mooi uitgestald en zijn erg smakelijk. Cappuccino met een worstenbroodje wordt een feestje!
