Bakkerij Dudok in Wijk 00 Centrum

I've been coming to this bakery for over a year now and I noticed that when they talk to the Dutch customers they are super friendly but when my turn comes they switch to a neutral tone. I do speak Dutch so I had to conclude this happens due to my non-Dutch background. I just don't like such an unequal treatment and feel a bit sad when I don't get the same friendly tone. But the ham-cheese croissant is nice in the morning (while they're fresh).

Everything is nice and fresh on Saturdays, but I wouldn't buy it on Tuesdays. Try a tart or currant bread, as that's old and left over from Saturday or something. Only the bread is fresh then. I also find them very expensive!

Unfortunately, an ordinary bakery with ordinary products

Bought bread and soft rolls here a few times. We were satisfied until last week. In addition to bread, I also bought a bag of soft white rolls. When I got home I saw that these were not fresh at all. After tasting, they didn't taste good and looked pulverized. Very unfortunate because in my opinion you cannot sell bread like that and you should not expect that from an Artisan Baker. Unfortunately, the bread also went stale quickly. We won't be there anymore, we are now going to another bakery. The sausage rolls and egg cakes tasted great!

Despite all the recommendations, I cannot be very enthusiastic about the quality and taste of the bread delivered. Too bad because it is nice and close.

They are always willing to think of me. Christmas bread at Christmas. Can't stand currants. Then we'll make a nut bread that's fantastic, isn't it?
