The best baker on the hill / Breda

This bakery is so awful... I really didn't want to give in to it because we live right next door. We gave it another try every time, and unfortunately, nine times out of ten, we walk away with stale and disgusting bread or pastries. You'd sooner get something from Jumbo; the same quality for a much lower price. And I haven't even mentioned the terrible service.

Unfortunately, I gave this "bakery" several chances, but to no avail. First of all, the staff: awful. I've never felt as uncomfortable as I did in this bakery. The staff is unfriendly and unpleasant. Anyone can have a bad day, but with them, it seems to be a recurring theme. Then the price/quality ratio: terrible. Exorbitant prices for dry and tough bread or pastries. It's like they use pre-baked bread that's been sitting out all day. You're better off going to the supermarkets, so that's what I'll be doing from now on.

And there I was...on a Monday morning, standing in front of a closed door! Apparently, this bakery is always closed on Mondays; the website hadn't been updated to reflect this.

They have delicious currant buns and egg cakes. Great place!!

Definitely not fresh, sausage bread tough, sausage roll frozen sausage. Too bad, price quality is hard to find.

Got 2 croissants in the morning, 1 with cheese. Both rock hard and very cold. For the (quite high) price you pay, you expect quality. Shame.

Mooi bakker met breed assortiment. Hebben verschillende soorten brood, maar ook krentenbollen, eierkoeken en hartige broodjes. Ook gebak is er verkrijgbaar.

Echt heel lekker brood . Personeel is ook altijd vriendelijk

Elke dag weer een heerlijk vers assortiment en heel erg vriendelijk en gastvrij personeel
