Bakkerij Godschalk Muldershof in Zevenaar

I've sat on the terrace here often for a drink. The staff is always friendly and the service is prompt. Today was a slightly different experience; I ordered a beer from a gentleman I didn't know. He immediately said they had other soft drinks and listed a few. He offered no further explanation as to why they couldn't serve a beer, so I just ordered a soft drink, but I found it quite odd. Or perhaps he thought I was underage... I'm 54! I will definitely keep coming here, but it was a different experience than usual.

Just like every year. It was all delicious again! And the delivery was well organized! See you again next year!

I picked up pastries and rolls at Bakkjerij Braam in Zevenaar. The pastries were wrapped in a paper bag. It was raining quite heavily, so I asked for a plastic bag. 50 cents! Considering they already charge top dollar for a simple brown roll: 75 cents!! I didn't think that was okay; they are making a profit on a plastic bag that costs 5 cents. Bad service, and that is a deliberate choice. There are plenty of bakeries in Zevenaar that do NOT do this. No more Bakery Braam for me.
