Bakkerij Mestrom in Wijk 00 Beek - Spaubeek

Unfortunately, this is really no longer normal; the store in Makado Beek is full of flies, it is unbelievable. On the pastries, the bread. This is truly unhygienic; they probably can't do much about it themselves, but it just made me feel nauseous when I walked through the store. The food is 4-star and the staff is friendly too, but due to the sheer number of flies, the rest is below par and I will be skipping the store for the time being, and that is actually a terrible shame.

Regular supplier of my bread and flan. I am disabled and happy with the quality and friendly service. After 20 years in Spain, I am now addicted again to the exceptional Limburg flan!

Great pies and the mini pies. Too bad (fortunately) that it is so far away for us.

We ordered 2 sandwiches at Bakker Bart in Beek. One pulled pork sandwich with cheese and sauce, and I think there were also bits of bacon in it; it was a container full of grease, dripping off it, and the bottom of the bun was very soggy. I don't want to go here again. And a crispy chicken sandwich was bland and was supposed to be Tex-Mex; it tasted like nothing.
