Got currant loaf with almond paste. Bread is delicious, but it seems like today's bakers can't do it anymore: bread with almond paste. The almond paste just falls out of the bread, leaving a large lump of almond paste. It's a shame, and unfortunately, that's the case with all bakeries these days.

Dorpsstraat 61AI give this bakery a solid 10 for the fluffiest currant buns I've ever had. I had a lovely coffee stop here while hiking the Pieterpad and picked up some currant buns for the road. They were truly delicious. Hats off!
