Bakkerij Voncken - Landgraaf in Wijk 01 Nieuwenhagen

Today I bought relatively expensive bread from bakery Voncken at Plus Wetzels; at home I see several slices with mold, even though the best before date is Aug 1, 2026 😏

Ordered a Black Forest cherry cake online for today and picked it up. It is very disappointing to receive a frozen cake. When I got home, I just felt ripped off. We wanted to eat it fresh. Moreover, the base is dry. Never ordering from here again.

I've always been satisfied with Voncken. I usually go to the main branch, and it's always good, friendly, and clean. I ordered two pies in Landgraaf this time. The bee stich was crammed into a box that's far too low for the pie, so the cream cake and cherries were hanging from the lid, and it really didn't look nice to put on the table. When I pointed this out, the waitress opened the box a bit to "prevent it from sticking all the time," but now it's already done. Nothing further was done, and the price was simply charged. I should have said something, but I was a bit speechless at how it was ignored. So I grabbed both boxes and, among the others, put the pie box in something spotty and dirty. I wanted to say something, but the waitress was already busy with someone else. It's a real shame that there's not a little attention paid to mistakes, which can certainly happen to anyone. I'm sure something like that would never happen at the main branch; even mistakes are handled properly and politely there. Therefore, the review is only for the Landgraaf branch.

Three weeks ago, I ordered a strawberry custard for my birthday tomorrow. Only to be called a day in advance to say the custard wasn't being made. It's not strawberry season. And you couldn't have told me that three weeks ago? We'll never be back. I think that's just bad style!

Very often, bread has holes the size of a two-euro coin. That's actually a failure, unworthy of a baker. Otherwise, the bread is good. Too bad.

Ordered a bienenstieg yesterday, for 25 euros it was worth nothing, you could never count strawberries again

On January 6, 2025, I went to voncken in Landgraaf and ordered a LV chocolate cake for January 11. So the woman with tattoos helped me out with my order and filled in the form and I went to the tills to pay the cake for 85 euros then she handed me the receipt and I walked out the store smiling. So it was January 11 at 15:00 o’clock , I went to the store to pick up my cake and guess what? I was told that there was no cake and blah blah blah. I was standing there for 15 minutes waiting to find out that the woman who helped me getting my order on January 6 that she made a mistake and was sent to the wrong department. So the cake was never made at all and I couldn’t believe it. That feeling of disappointment and those tears in my eyes was priceless. I told those workers that I had a birthday party at home and I needed to go back. So they were like take whatever you want and it’s free and they refunded me back for the money I paid. I took 6 containers of small coconut cookies and a cake on display also a slice of chocolate cake. You know people make mistakes but she could double check if it was sent to the right department she had plenty of time but damaged has been done. I don’t recommend getting a cake at this place (Voncken in Landgraaf)

Medium cherry pie quite expensive, I found it very dry and there were stones in it. It didn't really taste freshly baked For this price you can expect that not to be the case. Especially because children also have to eat it. In any case, a huge disappointment and not worth repeating. Staff was nice

We ordered a bakery breakfast at the Lunchroom bakery. It was delicious! And the staff were so friendly. Coffee/cappuccino, a delicious croissant, and a lovely brown roll with seeds. The toppings were excellent 👌🏻. The quality you expect from a bakery. The store is in the shopping center, where you can park for free with a blue card.

Erg langzaam personeel. 2 medewerkers waarvan er 1 steeds aan de telefoon was terwijl er min 10 klanten binnen waren..... en niet mee hielp. Duurde 25 min voor dat ik geholpen werd.

Mooie plaats in Limburg je waant je in het buitenland met al die heuvels 👍

Heerlijk brood en gebak, vriendelijk personeel. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding vind ik goed.

Net brood gekocht, Limburgs rogge, dat de houdbaarheidsdatum had van 29 juli 2022.

Their bread is fantastic and my favorite are the pudding berliners. :)

Heerlijke taarten en altijd creatief ontworpen. Voor banket een aanrader!

Lekker en goed brood en banket.

Vriendelijk personeel en een zaak met lekker brood en gebak, al rijzen de prijzen steeds verder de pan uit. Waardoor de prijs- kwaliteit van vlaai en gebak, langzaam behoorlijk scheef gegroeid is.

Voncken is gewoon lekker. Vooral rijstevlaai

Goede service en een heerlijke panino gezond met achteraf een stukje abrikozen linze!

Taart besteld voor verjaardag van mijn zoontje. Hij zag er werkelijk prachtig uit - groot compliment - maar hij was veel te zoet en bevatte echt teveel slagroom. Het was echt een toptaart geweest als hier een betere balans was gezocht!

Kwaliteit is bij elke Voncken winkel hetzelfde. Goed en lekker. Naar verhouding ook niet te duur.
