We have often ordered takeout here. However, the last 3 times the food has been so disappointing. As a result, it wasn't right for 2 days. We won't be coming back for the time being.

Ordered a rijsttafel for 3 people. 86 euros!!! Tasteless and way too salty and barely enough for 2 people......

Downright bad. A loyal customer for years, but we are never going here again. Price, quality, and quantity are completely out of balance. A Chinese rijsttafel for 3 people, 85 euros, and everything tastes the same.

The restaurant looks quite good, but the food is a major disappointment. We had expected it to be a good restaurant, but apparently not; there is very little choice. The staff is not very friendly and quite curt. And there is very little choice in the food. The griddle is not a great success. There are few sauces on offer, plus the buffet itself is not very organized. It is very small; you can't really stand together very well because you end up bickering. I also think the asking price is very high for the food they offer as a restaurant, so we had the choice not to eat there for that price.

I had ordered for takeout. There was pork in our nasi and bami. I called again and was allowed to exchange it. We had a delicious meal.

We enjoyed our visit here and visited twice during our holiday. The restaurant has the traditional style of decor for a 'fancy' western Chinese restaurant; very ornamental, including display fish. There are a la carte and buffet options; we had a la carte twice, mainly as the kids had liked options from it the 1st time. Buffet looks to be good value. Food was very good, tasty. There are a couple of kids options, but you can buy half portions of most menu items and this is what we did for our kids. They all had the chicken curry twice and enjoyed it. Starters included chicken satay, spring rolls and seafood options. Price was reasonable, including a few rounds of drinks. The staff were very kind and helpful with excellent English. Recommended!

Get takeout. Old-fashioned Chinese restaurant. But the food was fine (weekly menu).

I am sorry to have to say this, but unfortunately, I do not recommend Bamboe in (regarding the takeaway). The restaurant looks fine and, in terms of ambiance, would fully meet my expectations. Unfortunately, the takeaway meals do not meet my expectations. The dishes are very small in size compared to other Chinese takeaway restaurants. The dishes are very similar in taste and are far from distinctive. Taste is, of course, very personal, but for me, the price-quality ratio at this restaurant is so unbalanced that it does not meet my expectations. I visit various Chinese restaurants very regularly, but this restaurant performs below par! 👎🏻😔

Dual service One was surly and the other friendly It depended on the hierarchy

We eat there quite often... because we have to be in the area every week... and the food is super tasty... fresh... and the pork belly is deliciously crispy! The staff is super friendly and it's nice and quiet! Compliments! 🙏👌

A dingy restaurant A restaurant where you get an electric shock. Wires are hanging out of a light bulb, and it isn't taped up or anything. The group I was with got an electric shock from that wire. This shouldn't be allowed. It was handled very nonchalantly.

Picked up food, ordered a lot because there were 6 of us and we weren't familiar with the place yet. In the end, there was enough for 6 people, but it wasn't exactly generous considering the price, but all in all, it was tasty. We received friendly service and the food was ready at the agreed time.

Fading glory. It used to be a nice concept, but it has been milked dry. Take a critical look and give it an upgrade! Not just the neon lighting outside.. Smells musty, worn carpeting. Space on the right by the buffet completely soulless.

The food is fine, but some employees desperately need customer service training. I've already been yelled at three times during takeout, and not just a little bit. It's a real shame.

Got takeout from here yesterday. Portions weren't huge, but the quality was good. We enjoyed our meal. The online ordering system works great and saves us having to call.

I ordered nasi and bami and a 5-course takeout order. The order was only half correct. It was two nasi instead of nasi and bami. Three of the five dishes were different. I would never order some of the dishes because I don't like them. The order slips on someone else's carrier bag were probably the reason the five-course order was mixed up. I did eat some of it because I had to leave that evening. I did call, but the response was rather nonchalant. No apology or compensation. Only an explanation that there had probably been a mix-up.

I had ordered noodles, satay, and sushi online and went to pick them up. Order numbers were being called out, and judging by the flow of numbers, mine seemed to be coming quickly. However, during the fifteen-minute wait, at least ten people came in and picked up their orders. So I went to ask when my order would arrive. It turned out to be behind a hatch. Convenient, indeed. Service: 0 points But after a short drive home, I found the noodles and satay had cooled down, and what was worse: completely inedible: completely flavorless and a disgusting blob of grease. "Bami with egg and meat" yuck, yuck, yuck, meat = half a slice of soggy ham, the egg was under the ham and looked like an overcooked bantam egg. After two bites of noodles and satay, I threw the entire order in the trash. What a disgusting mess it was. You should be ashamed to produce and sell something like that; it was truly disgusting. Food: 0 points

Authentic Dutch Chinese. Takeout is good. Be sure to call ahead to order, otherwise you'll have to wait a long time. The buffet is great, especially the wok is delicious and fresh. Lots of choices. Great with kids or friends. The wok staff are very friendly.

Always great at Bamboo Inn in Hapert! The takeaway quality is truly superb: everything is fresh, nice and hot, and delicious. Even if you opt for the all-you-can-eat buffet, you definitely won't be disappointed—there's a wide selection and everything is always replenished. The à la carte menu is also highly recommended. I'll be back often!

How come all the meat dishes that are taken away are tough?

I always get takeout here, it's delicious! I definitely recommend their takeout options. The staff is also very friendly and the service is fast.

What a disaster. We're having a nice time at the Landall holiday park. We're thinking of getting some Chinese food. We ordered a 4-course menu. You couldn't even fill your hollow tooth with it. Babi pangang (10 pieces) Tjap tjoy (3 pieces of chicken) Bami completely wet and soggy. Believe me, we took three bites and threw everything away. What a terrible, terrible Chinese you are! And shame on you for charging such prices for a mouse meal!

We chose the buffet, but the food wasn't great. There was plenty of choice, but much of the food was tasteless. The buffet area was small and cramped. There was one griddle, but the meat cooked on it was cut very small; it looked like it was meant for a wok, but there wasn't one. You also had to clear your own plate. So, I wouldn't go back.

Poor quality, long wait at the grill. All self-service plates aren't picked up. And I still miss the carpaccio.

I make the fried food in the buffet section, and unfortunately I always see the dissatisfaction on people's faces, I am very ashamed of myself for this. There is no air in the restaurant, and not to mention the hygiene in the kitchen, it is better if the guests do not know. I work here, believe me.

My sweet and sour chicken with rice was absolutely delicious! It would have been even better if the chicken hadn't been breaded or crispy on top, or if it hadn't been swimming in the sauce. But otherwise, everything was great, very friendly service, warming plate – I'd definitely order again! Unfortunately, there was no fortune cookie at the end, but perhaps that's not customary here.

The food sits in the trays at the buffet for a long time. The appetizer display contains dishes that quickly dry out and become inedible. Freshly prepared food on a griddle always tastes more or less the same. It's completely self-service. The decor is okay.

The restaurant is beautiful and atmospheric. The food is good, but the only criticism is that when we made reservations for 4:30 p.m., the buffet was practically empty. We arrived early, but by 6 p.m., it was starting to get quite crowded.

I recommend the buffet, you can eat and drink whatever you want and as much as you want for 35€, including desserts, cakes, ice cream, 2 hours of delicious food.

It's like stepping back into the 80s. But the food was really good for a great price. And the service was very friendly.

Booked the buffet, unlimited food and drinks for two hours. And that for only €29.50 per person. They don't come to collect used plates or cutlery. You have to take it to a bin for "used" plates and cutlery yourself. Over 40 different dishes. A huge selection. Only the ice was so frozen solid that it was difficult to get anything out of the bin. But it was delicious.

This is certainly one of the better Chinese restaurants. Beautiful interior (also very clean) and several home-made products (especially dessert with e.g. crème brûlée or soft ice cream with nuts or candy). Buffet (31€) with all soft drinks, water, 3 types of draft beer, wine, .... also coffee machine with very wide choice. The teppanyaki could be a bit bigger but for us no problem because there were not many customers. You have to take your own dirty plate to the buffet to put it there and take a fresh plate but that was no problem (then your table is always free).

Most dishes at different Chinese restaurants all taste the same. Not in this restaurant, here they have dishes with their own taste. I think they are absolutely not bad, and have very affordable dishes.

It was absolutely delicious, we went for my grandma's 80th birthday, and apart from the candle with a song she even got a gift from the restaurent. Also the service was overwhelmingly good and the staff very friendly. Would recommend going here!!

What a disappointment this was, we are at Landal Vennenbos and it was a nice outing because my parents were married for 50 years, but the food was very bad, the cook kept walking away and the meat for the plate was not good, it was just plain dirty, too bad.

Went out for dinner with the family. I was a bit skeptical because of the reviews, but it was more than fine. Good standard Chinese dishes, but also fresh wok dishes, (simple) sushi, dessert and (alcoholic) drinks included. Good deal, great atmosphere!

Scanty quantity compared to other Chinese in the region. Quality and taste moderately adequate. Ate here hoping to have a nice alternative to our favorite Chinese restaurant, but that certainly won't be the case. From now on we'll just drive by again.

There was little room at the buffet for a group to eat at the same time.

Absolutely horrendous. The chef burned the food, the buffet looked terrible (tasted incredibly doll too), the staff didn’t smile once, the interior is outdated, it is so tight inside so you can barely walk around when grabbing food. We had a 2h reservation but we wanted to leave asap because of the bad conditions, so 25min later we left. I regret paying over 30€ for this and I would not advice anyone to go here.

On holiday at Landal Vennenbos we ended up at Bamboo Inn via Google. We also regularly eat Chinese/Japanese food at home and after a few days we were hungry for it again. We were surprised and Bamboo Inn did just that. We went there for the buffet. It's not all big but the quality of the food was good!! I would also like to compliment the man behind the grill tonight. The food he prepared was very tasty! So delicious that I wanted to post a review about it. Come here for the buffet. Please take some from the grill and like this post if you agreed with me :)

Yesterday we had a delicious meal a la carte, two of us took three half portions and everything was very tasty. Service was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely try the buffet again!

We opted for a takeaway menu with 6 dishes. The spring rolls were tough, the nasi was very thin with little in it and the meat of the tjap tjoy was very tough and dry. For the price you pay this was very disappointing.

Once and never again... what bad food this is... Little choice and a lot of dry food that has been lying around for a long time or empty containers that are not refilled... they have 1 rack with raw wok things that are then fried completely bone dry on the baking tray with way too much oil... are you trying to tell me something about that? If you want to leave the meat off and don't want it well done, they leave it on the plate and look at you to see if they see water burning... In short, never again for me...

Beautiful restaurant with old-fashioned tasty food with a slightly different twist. Lots of golden fish everywhere, cages in ponds.

Picked up food which was relatively good Chinese food. We thought the atmosphere at take-out was pleasant and good... so we made a reservation and went for dinner the next day (all you can eat). The photos online are certainly not what they are! Food was bone dry and not tasty! There is little food in the containers and what is there is once again dry. The “raw” part is only fried on a plate, which again makes it… DRY food. Very disappointing dinner out. Despite the slightly lower price, it is still far too much to pay for what you get/can get. In addition, the restaurant is certainly not child-friendly!! Extremely hot containers that immediately burned our children's hands (5 years old). These containers are placed so low that children can look into them and immediately burn their hands! There is no staff, so everything has to be cleaned up yourself (plates, cutlery, glasses and bottles). The staff there barely speaks Dutch and is simply not approachable (grumpy and angry looks), they are not asked at all how it was or tasted, the amount is keyed in and the ATM is pressed under your nose. Not even a goodbye... Typical case of, if only we had read the references earlier...! Quite a downer to end a holiday for so much money!!!

the sushi was a bit pathetic. buffet okay but the shine seems to be missing. few staff so you have to put your plate away yourself. but staff are friendly. they bring a nice gift for the birthday boy or girl and the buffet is largely gluten-free.

Ate here today, it was delicious! Me and my father had the Chinese rice table with nasi instead of white rice. Very good and pleasant service. Employees very nice and helpful. Looks beautiful inside and out. They even have a small indoor pond with fish. Nicely decorated in the Chinese theme.

Removed my previous 2 star review. It dates back to the time when I did not yet eat gluten-free. Five stars for this restaurant because of the wide range of gluten-free food, which is not self-evident for a Chinese restaurant. It also tastes very good.

Ate a buffet with the grandchildren. They can choose what and how much they want. Also a bowl of something on the plate before they were baked. And ice cream desserts on which they added whipped cream themselves. They think this is great. It was for their birthday. We made an agreement with them that everything they served, they had to eat. That worked fine. We enjoyed ourselves at a round table

I ordered vegetarian noodles with bamipangang and foe jonhai with large shrimps on Saturday. When I got home, my biggest regret was that the fried noodles with noodles were only half full. The babipangang meat were so small pieces that it looked like waste meat and not much. The foe Jonghai had 4 shrimps in it. Sad, sad and not too much. nice. And something like that costs 47 euros. I'll never go there again

It was a hell of a place with so much noise that simply having a chat with your table companion was completely impossible. All visitors tried to make themselves understood, but were completely unable to do so due to the enormous noise. There were also many children who ran past our table all the time, screaming very loudly and shrilly. In short, if you want to eat it's okay, but if you want to dine, as is customary in a normal restaurant, you shouldn't go here.

Unfortunately, the order turned out smaller than we ordered. The containers were half full and we were missing 2 containers of nasi and noodles. The staff offered 1 more bowl of nasi or noodles, which was unnecessary, while the rest of the food was cooling. Which I think is a shame, you only get a half-filled container, even though you pay 50 euros.

It hasn't gotten any better. Normally when it is busy, I understand that something can go wrong. But today we order 8 combined dishes, and then only receive 1 small bowl of noodles and 1 small bowl of nasi. We are told by telephone that we have to order separately, but they can understand that themselves. Which really bothered me, we already had small containers because they were combined dishes, but they were not even half full. So poorly organised. After we reported this by telephone, I was seriously asked what exactly I wanted to say with it. In other words, not even a half-filled container has become normal. That touches me the most. The service is therefore partly not intended to be wrong, but the extremely small amount was handled very laconically, and I find that very unacceptable. I won't be coming back here anytime soon. Very unfortunate, but this is really a huge disappointment. To be clear, there was hardly anyone waiting, so there was certainly no huge crowds.
