Did a workshop on spraying chocolate figures with colleagues. A warm welcome with a cup of coffee and a pastry. Afterwards we explained the process and then we could get started ourselves.

Ordered sausage rolls for our company. They are the tastiest here (meppel area.)

The quality is really great and the people are friendly. Pastries must be ordered: no overproduction and always fresh. I came for pastries, but had not ordered. Meppeler jokes or balls, I didn't know them, but they were there. I will do this more often: delicious. !!!

Fine, we always order pastries there, the marzipan to be precise. (That also rhymes, on purpose) I usually call, I always lose the unemployment information online, and then I pick up, very easy, I don't have to go into the city and worry about parking. Cakes in a bicycle bag are not a success. so yes, if I want cake, I call and pick it up. Very tasty, the family is satisfied and enthusiastic.

We ordered cakes from Amoureus for 2 birthdays this year. A bit of nostalgia for us, but it still tastes great after 40 years! The amourettes and the marzipan pastries are especially recommended!

Cycling a long way from the direction of the other companies that participated in the open company day. The explanation was lacking and the (very) young staff could not adequately answer the questions asked by the visitors. There were no notes to leave the answer at the competition... The hall was full of stalls selling chocolate and related items. You had to pass there when entering or leaving the building. Disappointing, especially after the successful visit to the cinema where refreshments were offered, explanations were given with a look behind the scenes and parts of the film were shown at the end!

I once ordered a piece of custom work here (I wanted to have a house recreated in chocolate as a present). Ultimately it became an 'edible' copy of the photo of the house, on a plaque with decorations around it (which was supposed to represent a frame, I think). That's fine in itself, but here's the thing: the chocolate was really bad... Several people ate it and they all made the same face (not positive). The couple who had received the gift reluctantly asked if we didn't mind if they didn't eat the chocolate any more. Shame on you to call yourself a 'chocolatery' and to push such cheap quality chocolate over the counter.

Ordered cake for my birthday (April 27) via the website on April 25. Nowhere on the website did it indicate that they would be closed. Not a word about this in the confirmation email either, just "please note: on Saturdays we are open until 10 am". OK fine. There is then another working day in between (the order and the time of collection) during which Amoureus could have contacted us, but unfortunately. On April 27 we stand in front of a closed door. No cake on my birthday. No response to the first email regarding this. After contacting us by telephone, Amoureus's answer can be summarized as "that we should have looked into our crystal ball to see that they would be closed". Enough other stores are open that day (the stores that are closed clearly indicate this) and neither on the website nor by e-mail is there any information regarding their closure, so I could have assumed that they would be present. Amoureus itself did not contact us to indicate that they would be closed that day. It was indicated by telephone that, if we sent an email about the problem, we might be able to order pastries for the same amount again this year. However, it's already been my birthday this year (and so has my husband), so that's not of much use to me. After this I tried to contact them again by e-mail, again no answer. I will not get my money back and I have not received delivery as agreed (ordering via website, no delivery on the selected day and no notification anywhere that they would be closed that day). Order here? We will never do it again and I would strongly advise against it to everyone.
