Great bakery, lovely shop with lots of choice and friendly staff. Everything taken care of down to the last detail and every pastry looks like a small work of art. You can also eat and drink on site.

You can sit here for a nice cup of coffee and delicious well-filled sandwiches with local delicacies. And of course the Bakery is known for their hazelnut cake. Really worth it even to drive a bit, super tasty

Very friendly and accommodating staff. They offer a very good cake called Lemonbars. While passing by for a coffee and a technical break (the toilets are very clean), I discovered this lemon cake. I grabbed one to take away... The little dry cake, with anise flavor, served with coffee is also good.

What a delicious sausage roll! I would like to give 5 stars for this. Handmade and neatly served. I would recommend Mastenbroek in Purmerend, but Banketbakkerij De Korenbloem throughout Friesland Please note, also the tastiest orange cake from Sneek and the surrounding area.

Unfortunately, I had to decide to adjust my review: I have been coming to De Korenbloem for years, I think about 15 years. You could say, this lady is a regular customer! I once gave the Korenbloem 5 stars, they well deserved these stars. A few years ago, the Korenbloem was taken over by the Schaafsma confectionery from Franeker. A lot has changed after the takeover and I don't think this is in a positive way. The pastries, which have not changed in quality, were "considerably" increased in price almost immediately after the takeover. Not only did the pastries go up about 40 cents, the pastries also shrank. So a double price increase... To my great surprise, the pastries have already shrunk again. They have now become Petit Fours.... Very unfortunate! You pay about 2.65 for it. I'm thinking about buying my pastries, chocolate and cookies elsewhere. This is why I am changing my 5 stars to 2 stars.

In een druk klein winkelstraatje zagen we deze banketbakkerij en zijn naar binnen gegaan voor een kop koffie en natuurlijk wat lekkers erbij. Alles prima geregeld en Corona proef.

Super tip van een overbuurwinkel. Koffie met hazelnootgebak. Direct suikerbrood gekocht, kregen we ook nog een bon voor twee gratis oliebollen. Die kwamen later op de dag goed van pas.

Deze bakker is dé banketbakker van Sneek. De hazelnootschuimgebakjes zijn onvertroffen maar ook eigen gemaakt chocola etc. Gelegenheid om kopje koffie met wat lekkers te drinken en leuk ingericht daarvoor.

Al lang bestaande zaak. Jarenlang een familiebedrijf maar sinds kort in andere handen. De kwaliteit is gebleven. Heel lekker banket. m.n. hazelnootgebak.Maar je kunt er ook lekkere broodjes krijgen en koffie/thee. Gelegen in een smalle winkelstraat waar veel publiek langs kunt. Klein terrasje maar leuk mensen kijken.

Bought 4 pastries on Saturday. They looked better than they tasted. Too high a price for mediocre quality. The nougatine pastries that I get in Elst GLD are cheaper and delicious. The Cointreau pastries tasted too much of alcohol. This is not a pastry shop for me.

When you're visiting Sneek go here for a 'Hazelnoottaart' (Hazelnut pie) for which they are famous and a 'Oranjekoek' (typical Frisian delicacy) as they won the price for having the "best 'Oranjekoek' of Friesland" - like five times in a row. Staff is friendly, fast and helpful. Prices are reasonable.

Unfriendly employee! 5-12-2017 Because I work for the municipality, I often get sandwiches at Korenbloem with my colleagues. The employees were always very friendly, but today I was served in a strange way by an employee (an old woman with short gray hair and glasses). I ordered fillet American sandwiches and asked if they could come with spelled rolls, if they are available, because I have also had spelled rolls here before. The response and tone of the employee was absolutely unfriendly and curt. "No...I'm not a bread baker, I'm a pastry chef." 🤤 After these words you will no longer feel like eating a sandwich from Korenbloem. I left and I will certainly not come here again with my colleagues to get a sandwich. It's a shame that people like that do such work. Do they have to learn some "bon ton" first....
