Delicious pastries. Maybe a bit pricey, but what do you want with this quality? Well worth it for me. Ladies behind the counter also extremely helpful.

Very mediocre... Tompouce consists of more than half whipped cream instead of pastry cream, ham cheese croissant also tastes stale and the sliver of ham had to be seen with a magnifying glass.

Bought assorted Easter cookies. What a disappointment! Almost stale and no butter taste. I expected quality from this patisserie, but alas. I live too far away to go back to the store (KD street). The unfriendly lady behind the counter does not do the business justice either!

Do not recommend. Passed by to buy the “Chocolade Pistache Gebakje” and the “Pink Sweetness Gebakje”. I had high hopes, especially for the chocolate + pistachio, but both gebakjes were not very tasty. The chocolate + pistachio had too many flavours and textures. There was also a strange square-shaped jelly inside. And, the raspberry + vanilla did not have any flavour. Both gebakjes had a small macaron on top and both (different flavours) macarons were awful. They were sickly sweet and soft and soggy. I have also tried their “Aardbeienrondje” and “Koffiebroodje” which were not great. All the cakes and pastries I have tried tasted cheap. I expected them to use real/high quality ingredients, but the overwhelming taste was sugar. Too much sugar. The chocolate and pistachio did not even taste like real chocolate and real pistachio. Such a shame. The employees were not very welcoming. And, they were chatting (gossiping about other employees) to each other.

Ordered a birthday cake well in advance. The cake was not even made on the day of collection. Unfriendly those women who work there and blame the head office. While a call has been made that we are coming to pick up that cake. Never order there.

Bought 2 expensive Christmas wreaths with amarene cherries. The wreath contained cheap candied cherries, 2 halves. In the whole wreath we had the large think 2 amarene cherries. Really not normal. Might as well have bought a normal wreath. Waste of my money. Real scammers there

I think the baker is on holiday or they have lost the recipe because the apple champs are suddenly uneatable, small and not of good color. Yesterday they weren't as usual and today they really didn't taste fresh, I think they gave me the apple champs that were left over yesterday bah bah, I won't be coming back here again!

This bakery has the tastiest chocolate cake around. I've been coming there every now and then for 25 years. They turned it into cakes because the cakes are only available to order. The cakes seem to be in the store every day. If you like chocolate, definitely give it a try! The butter cake with apple and nuts (abraham?) is also delicious!

The pastries were fresh and tasty. There were many options to choose from, with some interesting combinations. The cherry coconut dessert was especially amazing.

Old food, feels like cheap sugar everywhere. Dont ask me why but it moorkop tastes like old cake

Very nice bakery with beautiful seasonal cakes, which are beautifully decorated! The tompouces here are also incredibly tasty! The stewed pear pastry is highly recommended in winter. Simply delicious, 5 stars! We will often come by for delicious pastries.

Employees are impatient and not helpful. Their attitude is 'be happy you can come in here' even though it is a normal bakery. It's about bread and pastries, but they pretend they're selling Rolls Royce.

Great bakery! And extremely friendly and patient employees, who are happy to inform you. Unfortunately, I don't live nearby, but when I'm in Rotterdam, and I have the chance, I get delicious pastries and a few packets of fresh cookies here! You can taste the freshness! Worth 5 stars! TOP!

An exceptionally good pastry shop (I mentioned earlier), where I bought an apple schnitt (am I saying that right?). Eaten outside on a bench. Still a party.

You may pay a little more, but the quality is worth it. I occasionally get pastries here and in December I always get sprayed chocolate letters. The service in the store is always top notch. You are always treated in a friendly manner, they take their time and think along with you.

Black haired and middle aged woman is the rudest staff I have ever experienced. Get grumpy if you order more than you indicate in advance. (how does more turnover make you grumpy?) has no patience and an attitude as if the customer would be better off staying away. I have now experienced this twice with this lady and will never come here again.

Top Pastry Bakery & Chocolaterie

Just had a pink square (looks a bit like a big French fancy) and a strawberry tart. Both lovely! Definitely will pop in again if I'm walking past.

I actually only come here when I feel like having a treat at work... and then you have to come here for the one and only APPLE CHANNERS. You can't eat them without making a huge mess of crumbs, but hey!? They are delicious!!

Ongelooflijk wat een fantastische service! We wonen in Zweden en moesten een taart met felicitaties in Rotterdam bezorgd hebben. Vera en haar collega's hebben er echt alles aan gedaan om dit te laten lukken, ook toen er niemand open deed. En de taart? die was verrukkelijk.

Appelkanjers geweldig lekker. Jammer geen suikervrij of koolhydraatarm.

Heerlijk gebak en 🍞 brood uitstekende sortering maar wilt u zeker zijn van uw wens bestel wat u graag wenst dat voorkomt echt teleurstellingen.

Goede bakker. Één minpuntje. Er word alleen gepakt met blote handen, en niet met handschoenen of een tang.

De lekkerste banketbakkerij/patisserie in Rotterdam centrum. Mijn familie komt er al tientallen jaren: bij ons komt alleen gebak van Specker op tafel

Top bediening, goed assortiment en mooie zaak. Er even met de auto naar toe is , zo midden in centrum van Rdam, wat meer een uitdaging....

Bedankt voor de heerlijk taart. Zeker een aanrader voor de zoetekauw!

First class cakes and pastries. The strawberry-raspberry mirror glaze almond cake is amazing. The "Tom Poucen" are great. Definitely a first class classical Patisserie shop.

Jarenlang vaste klant en niets te klagen. Ben gek op delicatesse en op verjaardagen trakteer ik vaak op heerlijk verse appelkanjers en slagroomtaart, los gebak: bananensoes, cardinale, hazelnoot gebak, etc. Chocolaterie is erg goed. Gezellige vrolijke dames die er jarenlang werken. Bestellingen kun je telefonisch en online plaatsen en nooit problemen mee gehad. Bedankt Carola dat je tegen sluitingstijd op zaterdag een verse taart voor m'n moeder hebt besteld, die ik de volgende dag op jullie vestiging aan de Meent kon ophalen. We hebben ervan gesmuld! 😄🌹🙏

Deze bakker zit naast mijn tandarts, als jk een behandeling heb ondergaan dan trakteer ik mijzelf daarna op een appelflap en een gebakje. Zowel gebak als appelflap zijn heerlijk. Je wordt er altijd vriendelijk geholpen. Wat jammer is, is dat de winkel/zaak wat sfeer mist, hij is schoon en netjes, en hier en daar leuke presentaties, maar toch must er sfeer. Het is een beetje te sereen. Ook stond de airco vrij hoog, het was er best fris, dat helpt er dan ook niet aan mee, en het was niet echt warm buiten. Misschien is het nodig zodat de chocolade niet smelt, en daar hebben ze een ruime keuze in.

Bestellen en betalen vooraf voor Koningsdag kan op de website. Op te halen op afgesproken tijd. Goed geregeld denk je dan. Maar gewoon achter aan in de (lange) rij en er staat niks klaar op de afgesproken tijd. Als het op is, is het op. Wordt later weer aangevuld. Wacht maar even zegt het personeel. Oranje tompouces niet kunnen proeven hierdoor, maar deze bijsmaak is hardnekkig. Geld komt hopelijk snel retour. 2 sterren voor de moeite dat ik toch nog gebeld wordt dik twee uur later of ik de bestelling nog kom halen... Staat dus blijkbaar dik 2 uur later wel ineens klaar.... bijzonder.
