No fancy frills, but solid home-style food in generous portions with perfect service in a cozy location. Highly recommended.

Had a delicious meal, chicken satay and pork tenderloin. Wonderfully tender. Hazes not too loud in the background. I love it. A beer afterwards with a view of the boats.

Three times in a short period I saw people being presented with a more expensive order, in the hope/expectation that they would accept it: not nice!

The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff were super friendly. Fresh, tasty, and carefully prepared—in short: delicious!

Ordering a sandwich for lunch is more than enough. Allergies were taken into account, and the service was very hospitable. We were a group of five. We reserved a table, and dogs were welcome too. A beautiful view and very friendly service. A truly fantastic experience!

Had lunch through a social deal. Large portion. We sat outside on the terrace. Inside, it was a real brown cafe with pinball machines and loud music. Not our thing.

What a great place! Very friendly owner/staff, great atmosphere! Located in the harbor, we had a drink on the terrace with fries and snacks. Delicious fries, and they really know how to fry them. Go there! I think it's also a fun dance/party place in the evening.

It is a top location. Been there for the second time since last year. It was already good then. And is still a good location to have lunch.

Een super lekker Biefstukje gegeten uit de jus heerlijk sappig en mooie verse frietjes erbij!echt topkwaliteit!! Hiervoor hoef je niet naar het dure Loetje te rijden! (Ook afhalen is daar perfect!!)

The most wonderful café in the Netherlands as far as I'm concerned; beautiful dark old Dutch pub with incredibly sweet owners and a nice Spakenburg crowd and they can also conjure up delicious food on the bar and terrace!!

Good food here, spareribs and fries, good, tasty, lots of sauce for a great price, definitely recommended, coming from a Nijkerker 🙂👍🏻

Very (helpful) nice people and delicious sandwiches!

2 nights located in the harbour. Fine during the day, but during the last 2 hours that they are open plus another 1.5 hours afterwards, drunken visitors cause unrest and give an unsafe feeling. Because of this we really decided not to spend the night in Spakenburg anymore. Nice for a visit during the day, but that's all.

Heerlijk gezeten tijdens een van de Spakenburgse Dagen. Lekker rustig plekje. Vriendelijke bediening en goed eten en drinken.

Zit op een mooie locatie je kan heerlijk buiten zitten met uitzicht haven. Mooi met een fietstocht om heerlijk bij te komen. Toppie

Wij hebben hier prima genoten van de gastvrijheid, met de informatie van de gastvrouw hebben we een hele leuke middag in Spakenburg gehad!

Zeer gezellig Bruin café waar de tijd even stil staat

Goed broodje gegeten en lekker buiten gezeten.

Heerlijke varkenssateh gegeten. Gegrild of gebbqed, goede satehsaus. Leuke bediening.

Hele vriendelijke bediening en een heerlijke biertje.

De waard van Bar Eetcafé De Slok is een voor waard. E-bike accu opladen? Geen probleem. Een 2 liter set fles voor ons vullen met fris koud water? Geen probleem. Lekkere crunchy bitterballen? Geen probleem. Mijn vrouw en ik (67 en 73) waren behoorlijk uitgedroogd van 63 km fietsen vanuit Amsterdam in 31°C. Naderhand gingen wij opgefrist de laatste 23 km aan naar Ermelo. Dankzij de super WAARD VAN DE SLOK!

Luidruchtige stamgasten en een norse bediening maken het een 'jammer maar helaas" stek.
