Absolutely exceptional sandwiches. Some of the best I have ever eaten. The bread is like a fresh sourdough pizza pocket, and it’s filled to the brim with fresh ingredients. I had the mortadella, with arugula, mortadella, pistachio pesto, straciatella and roasted aubergine. Outstanding - highly recommended and for good reason!

Really delicious sandwiches on a beautiful environment

We went to this place expecting to have a nice dinner. We arrived at 7.30 as we know that the kitchen closes at 9. As soon as we arrived we ordered drinks and we tried to order pizzas. We have been told to wait to order pizzas as it was busy inside. After that we were told that the pizza dough was over so no pizza but only pasta. Do you think this is acceptable? We don't think so. We were not offered anything to compensate for this lack. Service was mediocre too and unfortunately not very professional. They even made us wait when we said we wanted to pay. They made us wait again when we wanted the receipt as the staff was busy to chat with their "friends"

Pizza’s were authentic and very delicious. Staff is polite enough. inside is very narrow, not enough space. All in all a 4 star experience. You can visit here just for their pizza’s

Optimal! A little glimpse of Italy in a little pizza in the heart of Delft. Nothing negative to say except that I would keep some pizzas closer to Italian flavors without enrichments such as onion or fresh chilli. Unbeatable value for money.

The pizzas are very tasty, but I absolutely love the sandwiches, they are made from that pizza dough and it is very tasty.

The food was good, we ordered some pizzas and some starters (varied cheeses). The service itself was not the best, they brought us our starters and never served us the pizzas until we ordered them again.

Today my husband and I went to Delft in honor of our 13th anniversary and he took me to Bar S. We were helped quickly by the super nice waitress and while we were waiting for a table while enjoying our drinks, was free, we enjoyed the nice atmosphere in this beautiful restaurant. We both opted for warm sandwiches and in one word: sublime. Finally a really good meal for a fair price. Once again our sincere compliments to the kitchen staff, you will see us again soon!

The best pizza in the Netherlands, hands down! I’ve eaten pizza in many Italian pizzerias around the Netherlands, but none compare to Bar Sil in Delft. The dough is simply perfect—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside—and the super fresh ingredients make all the difference. But it’s not just the pizza that makes this place special: Silvano, the owner, is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. His passion for pizza is obvious and you can taste it in every bite. If you’re a true Italian pizza lover, Bar Sil is a must-visit! I can’t wait to come back again and again!

Today we had a really unpleasant situation. My friends and I were in a pub, we ordered 4 beers. At the end we asked for the bill, for an explanation of the items on it. The waiter started shouting at us that we had to pay and leave, he treated us like trash. He said that we should never come back here. He shouted at us in front of all the people who were sitting at their tables. We felt like we wanted to cheat someone. We just wanted to establish whether what was on the bill matched what we ordered. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BAR

I am extremely disappointed in the service at this restaurant. Today, just a few minutes ago, I witnessed how an older waiter, with short hair and glasses, rudely shouted at the guests at another table. His behavior was not only unprofessional, but downright awful. This kind of attitude towards other people is unacceptable and has ruined the atmosphere of the whole garden. I don't recommend anyone to go to this place if you are looking for a cozy and respectful environment.

It's always fun with Sil. The service is certainly the best at the animal market.

Our children have been coming to Bar Sil for 10 years, and so have we for a year. How wonderful to see another entrepreneur who knows what hospitality is. All this combined with a real Pizza oven, top quality ingredients, employees who radiate that they are looking forward to it and good Dutch Espresso!!!! Oh yes and this, a large glass of water with my Espresso and when my daughter orders a sandwich (fresh from the oven and very large) I spontaneously also receive a plate and cutlery, nice!

Unfortunately I was only in Delft for one day and was passing through with an overnight stay! The food was just great, so good that I couldn't take any pictures, sorry!! Mega friendly staff. I took the bench with a view of the square to just enjoy the great atmosphere!

Italian place. We wanted to have its pizzas, but realised they only turn on the oven for dinner. We had the Italia and eggplant Sandwich which was quite nice. I loved the tomatoes, extremely juicy! The tiramisu is quite nice. The arabiatta is slightly on the blander side But the four chesse pasta is quite yummy!

The best place for Neapolitan pizza in Delft. Fluffly sides with a crunchy crust on the bottom. Their marinara is spot on with a great balance of garlic and salty anchovies. They have a limited selection of pizzas but all on point and there's something to satisfy everyone. They also have a decent wine menu with and plenty of options for cocktail. Do try out their tiramisu too, it's a pretty generous portion and delicious. Highly recommend for a quick bite and drinks or a pizza dinner.

They have tasty sandwiches here. No ordinary sandwiches, but made from pizza dough. I only ate that and for me it was worth complimenting. The pizzas also seem to be tasty, so I will definitely come back for that! 👍🏽

Edit: Checked the timing on my phone after the owner's response. They are right, seems it has been something like 37mins from order to cancel. I suggest that the service staff are advised to tell people the order might take longer than usual when the back of the house is backed up. We waited 35 minutes for a pizza, and at 35mins mark I asked if the pizza was at least in the oven, they said it isn't. So I cancelled the order. The kitchen is extremely slow, they send out maybe 2 orders every 25mins. The food doesn't look like it's worth the wait either.

Very good pizzas, and fast friendly service. The gem salad was also very nice. I definitely recommend the place. They have nice cakes, too. So even a place to go for a coffee/tea and cake.

Lekker op t terrasje gezeten. Broodjes zijn uitstekend. Gemaakt van pizzadeeg. Vooral vers! Rosbief met truffelsaus en kappertjes en de eindbaas had een Tonno met tonijn en kappertjes.. heel lekker

Amazing pizza dough sambos, beautifully setting and super friendly staff and great value

Op zaterdagmiddag een drankje doen met een lekker plankje antipasti was geweldig. Zeer vriendelijk personeel, ook professionele uitleg wat er op het plankje lag. De pinot grigio was heerlijk knisperend. En het bordje anti pasti (29 euro) maar zalig. Iets later op de avond gingen de parasols uit.

Wat een fijne plek om te zitten. Lekker borrelen, heerlijk eten en een super service. Eigenaar en personeel altijd in voor een gezellig praatje. Wij komen zeker terug! Sil bedankt! Groetjes uit Eindhoven😉
