BAR32 in Hoge Zijde

A nice bar where you can enjoy football, Formula 1, and other sports broadcast on various screens inside and outside on the terrace, where you can also enjoy a bite and a drink on the terrace by the Rhine in the summer.

Wonderful atmosphere; you can enjoy a game of pool or go out on the weekends here! Friendly staff who are up for a chat, I will most definitely be coming back here more often!

Didn't eat, drank a beer and played pool

Edit. I only found the receipt afterward, and I was surprised to see that I paid for 4 beers instead of 2. Was it a deliberate mistake or not??? A little disappointed... Otherwise, it's a fairly large bar with a few games: pool, darts, and video games. Nice terrace out back. The beer selection was fine. We ordered the "Hot/Cold" platter for 24 euros and some vegetarian sticks. The sticks were very good. The platter was decent, but you can tell the ingredients weren't high-quality. In any case, we ate everything and were satisfied overall.

A great beer selection, a lovely patio, and in the summer, BBQ32. A fantastic concept. Area for improvement: A bit more ambiance in the interior. It's all very sleek. A little imagination, a few plants, or some extra wall decorations would be nice. Otherwise, a great place with delicious food, pleasant, friendly, and helpful staff. 👍👍👍

Great bar to play pool and watch football

Grumpy security guards always. Acting very tough. Just act a bit nice when you come in and say a nice hello or something.

I got really sick from a glass I drank from. I don't think this was rinsed very well. Got a swollen and irritated throat from an infection. I stayed at home for 7 days and had to take a lot of ibuprofen. And I'm not even talking about the bad music upstairs. Put on some nice R&B or something. Bagger party cafe music.

The best chicken nuggets I've ever eaten, all the staff are lovely, and the service is exceptional. Pool lovers will also enjoy this game.

In itself a great place to go out, but when we get home it turns out that a lot of drinks have spontaneously appeared on our account. A third of the bill was for drinks that we never ordered or saw.

paid for beer at 1:10 in the morning you can’t drink you can’t go inside although there are a lot of people inside and no one is kicked out the security is generally crazy with their hands they climb in a crowd they go one at a time they’re afraid they don’t know how to speak English they don’t particularly make contact they can’t really explain why you can’t enter sconces close the doors in front of the client's nose; the client pays money for a drink; in the end, the drink is taken away and not allowed back into the bar

Excellent sort of a sports bar. One of the few places left in Alphen with a pool bar. Formerly Quarell but no longer resembles its predecessor.

Bar 32 is a very nice and cozy location to have a drink and a bite to eat with your friends. Also to play a game of pool billiards.

It was all great until I went home. I am a transgender man and have been going to the men's toilet all the time, because that's how it should be, so I feel safe and nice. I went home and security asked me why I went to the men's toilet when I actually had to go to the women's toilet. I'm like, I'm tramsgender so I want to be a man and that's why I prefer to go to the men's toilet. The other one asked, yes, what does it say on your ID, and I said, yes, woman. He was like yes, no, then from now on you have to go to the women's toilet, have a nice evening, ma'am. This last stab has hurt me so much that I don't want to come to your tent anymore, I'm just still emotional about this at home. Speak to your security about how their behavior affects other people.

Really nice bar. Friendly staff, tasty cocktails and a cozy atmosphere. You can also dance upstairs, even though the space is on the small side. And downstairs you can play darts and pool. Awesome!

Nice place, affordable and cozy.

Since the opening of Bar32, this has been my favorite nightlife in Alphen. Always very pleasant and friendly staff, compliments also for the security guards, very professional and always very friendly. And always the option to watch football / F1. During the weekend you can dance in upstairs32 to the music of the DJ, and when the sun shines you can sit on the large terrace with a nice cold beer at the outdoor bar. And recently you can enjoy a very tasty BBQ meal on weekend evenings.

Cozy bar. Slightly pricey. But that's what Hertog Jan is for and a good selection of beers. Also the option to play billiards on Saturday evening. Make sure you reserve early in advance. Because the billiard tables are very popular.

Very nice staff, 2 pool tables (you have to rent them) and a dart board, they also stayed open until 3 am on Tuesday and Wednesday nights even though they closed at 1.30 am (according to maps)

Nice to have a drink with some friends in the evening. Atmosphere is always nice. Nice that you can play pool here. It's a shame that the dance floor upstairs is not always open, it is also very small there and the music is often the same.

The garden! What an invention. Wonderful relaxing place. Good spot for watching sports at the European Championships. Good cocktails... who doesn't love a Longisland ice tea...

Top locations. Terrace on the Rhine. Large terrace, friendly staff. I wouldn't sit down in the bar myself, but it looks neat. Clean toilets. Also a plus. I wish bar32 that more people will discover this terrace this summer.

Good place. Came here to watch some sport, that staff agreed to put on TV upon request. If only it had better selection of food (only bar snacks available).

When we each had to pay an additional 2.50 service costs after a glass of beer and a cup of tea due to corona, we were a bit overwhelmed.

Very nice atmosphere! Nice music, nice drinks and friendly staff. Always fun to go, I'm there almost every Saturday and have never had any negative experiences! Always clean toilets too!

Nice, cozy bar! Good and friendly service. You can play pool, dance and hang out at the bar. Downsides are the cramped dance floor upstairs (!?), the toilets are also upstairs so it is difficult to get there when it is very busy upstairs... then you have to queue for the toilet on the stairs, well. Bar32 is more frequented by younger visitors, but everyone is welcome. In short, a cozy bar with nice music and atmosphere despite the somewhat strange layout.

I got sent out because I wanted to take my bag inside. Even though I saw lots of people with bags. Other than that had a great night here.

On Saturday evenings the upstairs room is open, called upstairs 32, very cozy but small!

Most Saturdays and evenings the music is way, way, WAY too loud, especially downstairs. Playlist played downstairs should be played upstairs on the dance floor.

Nice café with a cozy terrace outside on the Rhine. Watch out for falling chestnuts; fortunately there are large parasols to catch them. It's nice when you see the chestnuts fall to the ground. And it's not just children who enjoy taking those chestnuts home!

Luckily we were able to go here during the annual fair. Bar32 has a large terrace with lounge sofas on the Rhine, but there are also tables and chairs. There is also an outdoor bar with TV. Nice service. We sat under a large umbrella. This served not only as a sunshade but also as protection against falling chestnuts. Necessary, yet funny.

Good drinks, a bit above the usual local prices and fun to stay there and dance. It's open till about 5 o clock in the morning on weekends. But they may close earlier if there's not much people drinking enough. You must enter the place before half past 1 and cannot leave if you want to continue partying. The bartenders are friendly and helpful. The security guards are rough and insulting.

The pool tables are rented relatively too expensively. I also notice that the tables are often laid all evening by a group of friends. (No idea how they could prevent this, but it does limit the options for renting a table yourself.) The wine served is very good and really in a large glass.
