I think this is the best cafe in town. I sit here almost every day, drinking coffee and working. Great atmosphere, delicious coffee, and a great location. But most importantly, the staff is fantastic. Always friendly, smiling, cheerful, and helpful. Plus, all the ladies are incredibly beautiful ☺️ Guys, don't feel offended—you look great too 👍 So, I mainly come here for the atmosphere and the people who work here. When I'm here, I'm always in a good mood. I'm giving the food 4 stars, only because it's not quite to my taste—that's subjective. I prefer a bit more spice and bold flavors. But other visitors, including my friends, enjoy their food and find it delicious.

The best carrot cake in the Netherlands. I have been looking far and wide for carrot cake like this. Drinks are always beautifully displayed and delicious. The staff are very friendly and multilingual. The place can be very busy at times.

Super good coffee with all kinds of tasty options. For example, I had a Latte Macchiato decafe. Nice thick whipped cream. I do like caramel cubes better than the balls that were on it. They have a large terrace and you can also sit inside. Legend: 1) Terrible! I advise against it, I will never come back! 2) Too bad, below my expectations, I will not come again. 3) Ok, nothing wrong with it, but not special, nice for 1 time. 4) Fine, worth coming back. 5) Excellent! I recommend it, I will definitely come back!

Hello. We were in Emmen for the first time on Good Friday and were in the mood for coffee and cake. We ended up in the Barista Café in Emmen. Everyone was very nice and friendly. The coffee of the month was a cinnamon roll flavored iced latte macchiato, damn delicious. The cappuccino was also great. The apple cinnamon cake and the carrot cake were delicious. We really liked it here, modern atmosphere. When we are here again we will come back. Highly recommended here 👍👍👍

Nice coffee spot for a good cake or a tasty lunch. When we started in the morning with a cake and coffee, we sat at the very back. The service was friendly and recommended tasty coffee variations and cakes. However, it was a pity that there was a strong odor coming from the back of their washing/storage/toilet room. Still, we came back in the afternoon and enjoyed a delicious lunch and friendly service again. If I go to Emmen again, I will go here again for coffee or lunch!

While at work, she continued to wipe her nose and eyes with her bare hands without washing them. The lady looked at the store very grumpily, it certainly doesn't seem like a calling card for the store to me..

Had breakfast with 7 people for their birthday. Really great, we asked if they could make a tasting of all the breakfast dishes. Well, that worked out great! 2 full etagères, a glass of fresh orange juice and delicious yoghurt with granola. Very well organised!

We had a high tea for three people. Fairly pricey, but you really get a lot of goodies for it, which also tasted really good. Because I'm not a big tea drinker, I asked if I could also add some water. The servant came up with the idea of ​​putting a carafe of tap water on the table. We thought that was good. Together we spent about 80 euros. It later turned out that extra money had been charged for the tap water. I personally think this is really ridiculous! We have an expensive high tea in which the extra tea water costs money, but if someone wants a normal glass of tap water, there is an extra charge. To me and my family this felt like a rip off.

Had lunch on the terrace with friends this afternoon. I had the club sandwich with chicken. And it was delicious! And a super refreshing smoothie. The coffee is really beautifully served there. Good wide choice of food and drinks. The same goes for my vegan friend. Simply great!

Very nice to go, but what stops us are the exorbitant prices. For a latte machiato you currently pay € 4.40!!!!!!!! Now that's a real reason for us to ignore it and drink coffee elsewhere.

Heerlijk uitgebreid gebruncht op zondag! Pannenkoeken en egg sandwiches gehad, taartjes, koffie en huisgemaakte limonade. Alles was heerlijk, goed verzorgd en prima bediening. Nog een pluspunt: Barista Cafe in Emmen is op zondag al om 10 uur open, dus een stuk eerder dan andere horeca in de omgeving. Leuke plek om wakker te worden met goede koffie en smakelijk eten.

Heerlijk eten met een wisselende kaart. Emmen heeft een eigen stukje kaart, dat niet elke Barista Cafe heeft. Service is warm, zodra je er vaker bent (wij dus) worden we hartelijk ontvangen en weten ze onderhand wel onze meest gebruikelijke bestellingen. Sfeer doet mij denken aan iets natuurlijks. Kortom, wij komen hier vaker en blijven ook komen om heerlijk te lunchen en koffie en thee specialiteiten uit te proberen! Waar we uiteraard eigenlijk alleen uitkomen op twee die we vaker nemen. + ze hebben een kinderhoekje en baby change

We gaan hier regelmatig een heerlijke cappucino drinken, vandaag met de lekkere huisgemaakte appeltaart met echte slagroom, genieten!

I had breakfast here two days in a row because of attending a festival. Both days the service was fast and staff were friendly and in a good mood. The food was very tasty and good coffee too. I was already a fan of Barista cafe in my own city but now also of the Emmen branch.

Eten was goed. Echter liep iemand vd zaak met bevroren ingepakte carpaccio door de zaak... En vervolgens eentje met 2 volle vuilniszakken die niet heerlijk fris roken. Dat zijn 2 minpuntjes. Ons drinken was op en moesten op ten duur zelf vragen voor nieuwe. Wij hadden de pulled chicken wraps en de nachos, deze waren lekker& warm.

Wat een leuk koffie / lunch café . Vriendelijk vlot personeel. Het was druk maar ondanks dat werd er snel een tafel voor ons leeg gemaakt en schoongemaakt. Heerlijke wrap gehad, de caramel koffie en echte aanrader en een heerlijk taartje na om het af te ronden. Dikke complimenten die verdiend zijn. Heerlijk gegeten in een leuke en net café
