I don’t usually leave reviews for restaurants, but after eating here today I had to. The food was absolutely delicious—easily a 10/10! The only downside for me was that there weren’t any halal options, which I would have really appreciated. Still, I’ll definitely be coming back more often

Awesome. If this ever goes away, I'll be truly disappointed. The coffee at this cafe is, as far as I know, the only good specialty coffee in Zoetermeer. I'm a coffee enthusiast myself, and this is the only place I dare order espresso. They also have some really tasty lunch items; we love the (luxury) pancakes. And the best part? The prices are really reasonable. I only tip here, because anywhere else I'd have a heart attack when I had to pay.

A really nice place to enjoy a cup of coffee together. They also have delicious iced coffee and a good piece of cake, but you can also have a lovely lunch there. I definitely recommend it, and it's right here in Zoetermeer, in the city. Always nice to stroll over there for a bit. It's a nice place to sit and relax, and the staff is very friendly. In short, a great place to pop in every now and then. ☀️😍

Ridiculous! I came here with family for a cup of coffee. Less than five minutes after the coffee was brought, the table was already cleared. It wasn't busy, so I don't understand why they wanted us out quickly. Then two employees started gossiping about us in front of us (whispering and looking in our direction). I used to really enjoy coming here, but this is the last time.

This café is more of a cozy living room than a café. It's so cozy. Very hygienic. The staff is super friendly, and the menu changes often enough to keep things interesting. I'll definitely be back.

Nice Café with good food, good service and a cozy atmosphere. It is a bit on the expensive side, you often spend around 20 euros for a simple sandwich and a drink. This is unfortunately also the case with many other cafés. With a family of 4 you quickly spend between 80-100 euros for a lunch. But apart from that, nice and fun place to have a nice lunch.

Iced strawberry matcha. When I asked if you sold it and the answer was "Yes" I was super happy and also only €5. What followed...... I am still speechless. I was literally outside again within 1.5 minutes with in my opinion the WORST iced matcha ever!! 1. So much matcha went in that I wondered ok what quality matcha do they use here. 2. The matcha was scooped up with a large iron/aluminum spoon. Rule 1 DO NOT use IRON/ALUMINUM. 3. The matcha was tossed for two seconds with a FORK again made of iron/aluminum. 4. The matcha was lukewarm/warm and cloudy 5. The matcha tasted like it was made.... Loveless!

Service often asked if we wanted to order something

I hardly ever write reviews, who thinks about that these days? But if the service is this good, you will think about it! What lovely people work here and that's why I love coming here, that's for sure! The food is always great and there is always a place to have lunch alone and study. Fantastic!

Delicious coffee with goodies, small downside I took a scone and then you have to wait longer, tip wait a while with the rest and report this in advance, it's nice that everyone gets it at the same time

The cappuccino here is very good (love it) and the hot chocolate with whipped cream is a treat. They are not economical with the whipped cream ❤️ The only disadvantage is that it can get very warm inside because of all the glass and I don't think anything can be opened? And it was just too cold for the terrace. But that's the only thing. Lovely people work there. Keep it up 🫶🏼

Super fun and tasty Barista! Comes here regularly and enjoys it every time. Nice employees, tasty dishes and a great atmosphere! Conversations can be had and the children's corner provides a nice place for everyone.

Remarkably friendly, cheerful and attentive service and the food is delicious. And to top it all off, the coffee is really great (and I'm not easily satisfied with coffee :-).

UPDATE: I received a message back with an explanation and apologies. I also immediately started eating a pastry again. I missed you :) --------- I come there very regularly, often weekly, and am normally very satisfied. Today I wasn't allowed to sit at the only free table by myself. Was for 4 people and I was alone. The two people who came in after me were allowed to sit there. "You understand that, right?" uhm well no. Because you think you can earn more in the short term? Maybe I just spend more than these 2 people. Or they never come and I come every week. So yeah, missed opportunity. I won't be coming anymore for the time being.

Barista Café Zoetermeer offers a wonderful lunch experience with tasty food that is beautifully presented. The staff is friendly, fast and attentive, always willing to help. It's a plus that plant-based milk is free, and the cafe also offers some vegan lunch options, although there could be more of them. Definitely recommended for a nice lunch!

Nice tent! They also have a covered and heated terrace, so you can also sit 'inside' during the winter months. They offer many coffee varieties and the staff is friendly and hospitable. I had lunch here. There isn't a lot of choice, but what there is is very tasty and beautifully presented. The prices are also okay, lunch dishes between €10 and €13. Highly recommended! :)

Great spot. Cozy and good food.

This place can get crowded, and the personnel is not really friendly. We went as a family, and upon we entered the cafe with the stroller, the lady, when she saw us heading to a table, she sent us to a coach on the other side instead, only to see that another family was taking the coach at that moment. When we turned to the lady, she had disappeared as she had more important things to do, and meanwhile other persons had take the last tables, so we had not a table to sit, and we had to go elsewhere. There are many other options in Zoetermeer Centrum, and the last one needs is to meet with arrogant personnel.

Wonderful child-friendly restaurant. We come here almost every week. So it was time for a review. Excellent price-quality ratio and very friendly staff.

Always busy and cozy and delicious breakfast

Everything is good here. Very nice staff, delicious food, everything is good. Drinks are made perfectly. The atmosphere is good and the location is nice. Those cookies you get with coffee are delicious. You get delicious hot chocolate here and if you add whipped cream you can hardly eat it anymore. My most favorite dish here is the club sandwich. I really like the pesto sauce that comes with it. Highly recommended! You can also pick up sandwiches there.

Where do I start? Food the food is really very good, the pancakes are a 10/10, you really get value for your money, and the pancakes themselves are incredibly tasty. The avocado sandwich oh my god so delicious. Service: When it's busy and it's still early, they are always positive and help you choose. You never hear a negative or gloomy tone. Atmosphere: Yes, it has such a warm and cozy feeling, recommended for cold and rainy weather

Great service and top food! About €20 pp including drinks for a good lunch. Sat for at least two hours. Too bad that glasses of wine cost €5 these days... but hey, that's how much it costs everywhere. Keep up the good work, best place in Zoetermeer for a nice lunch 🙌🏽

Yes, just very tasty. Tasty sandwiches with plenty of fillings, the presentation is great and the coffee is delicious. Really nothing to complain about. Toppers! The Boeren Melt is something unique and remarkably tasty.

They have really tasty things and the service is generally always fast and helpful everywhere. I only thought the smoothie bowl was too expensive and very little. Finished in 3 bites. At Anne&Max it is much tastier. Furthermore, it is a really nice place with delicious food.

I had an iced matcha with oat milk to go. As you can see in the photo, the matcha was not mixed well and there were lumps in it and it was also very sweet. Furthermore, there is a nice cafe with friendly service.

Cozy café with tasty coffee and special sandwiches. The pieces of cake are a bit small, but the sandwiches are large enough with tasty chips and pesto mayonnaise. They also have delicious cakes such as the cheesecake and carrot cake.

Had lunch outside in the sun on a Saturday afternoon. The location is not very nice to sit in, but the coffee and food are fantastic! And you can walk straight into the city from here.

Always very friendly people! I ate a smoothie bowl for the first time. I indicated that I did not know it yet and was then allowed to see a card with the ingredient. This made the choice a lot easier! The smoothie bowl Apple pie is very tasty and looks beautiful. I already knew the cappuccino and it is as always very tasty!!

Various types of coffee or tea. The Spicy pumpkin latte is very tasty. The staff is extremely friendly and they do their very best to make you happy. Great place to have lunch or just catch up with friends while enjoying a cup of coffee and something tasty.

Chai latte has a more pronounced taste and this was so mild and sweet with lots of milk... that we simply couldn't have anything more with it. Would like some more authentic flavor for the chai! Leuke zaak met goede cappuccino. Wat me stoort is het grote aantal ouders met heel kleine kinderen. Volgens mij vinden kinderen een speeltuin leuker dan koffiedrinken.

Today I went here for lunch for the first time and that will happen more often, what delicious food and very friendly and happy service, really worth mentioning in these times!

Mensen die weten hoe ze voor mensen moeten zorgen. Prachtige plek om te delen.

Hele leuke plek om te genieten van koffie en lekker eten. De meiden van de bediening stralen allemaal en zijn heel vrolijk. Sfeer is leuk en er is veel keuze is koffie. Op de foto zie je een Hazelino en chocolade taart. Je kan hier ook terecht voor een heeerlijke lunch. Ze hebben (december 2023) het café uitgebreid met een verwarmd buitenterras. Dit is echt een aanrader!! Tegenover alle grote ketens zoals Starbucks en D.E cafe, krijg je hier echt het gevoel van warmte in een huiskamer.

Gezellig voor een lekkere koffie of lunch. Heerlijke flat brown koffie met een superlekkere toffee nut pie. Ook de flat white en de granola bowl zijn aan te bevelen.

Ik heb onlangs het Barista cafe bezocht en ik kan met zekerheid zeggen dat het een geweldige ervaring was. Het personeel was vriendelijk. De sfeer in het cafe was ontspannen en uitnodigend, wat de perfecte setting creëerde om te genieten van mijn lunch.

Vaker geluncht. Nu dan eens de high tea besteld. Heerlijk. Veel en veel keuze. Maar toch helemaal op!

Heerlijke koffie, de taart is zo nog lekkerder. Alleen te weinig zitplek. Ik moest buiten wachten, dat was minder fijn.

Sfeervolle vestiging van Barista cafe. Incl speelhoek voor de Kids. Heel vriendelijke service en verrukkelijke keuze van de kaart. We kozen 3 taarten om te delen, omdat we niet konden kiezen. Ontzettend leuk hoe mooi we dit geheel gepresenteerd kregen! Genoten van al het lekkers en de verwennerij. Echt een plek om vaker te komen!
