Super delicious, flavorful bread, you really have to try it. I buy my bread there every day.

Speculaas chunks are highly recommended. Quite pricey, but still good.

I recently visited Broodzaak and I must say it was almost perfect. From the moment I walked in, I immediately felt welcome. The interior was absolutely beautiful – modern, warm and very clean. You immediately notice that attention has been paid to the details, which makes the atmosphere very pleasant. The staff was incredibly friendly, especially Suzanne, who helped us with a big smile. Her hospitality made our visit even more enjoyable. She made sure everything went as planned and even took the time to have a chat. The food was delicious; the sandwiches were fresh and well filled. However, there is one small point for improvement: unfortunately the coffee did not meet my expectations. The taste was a bit flat and less full than I had hoped. This was a shame, because everything else was fine. All in all, Broodzaak is a great place to relax, with friendly staff and a fantastic interior. If the coffee is improved, it will be absolutely perfect! I'll definitely be back.

During my visit to this bakery, the lemon poppy seed cake was a particular hit – perfect in taste and texture. However, the coffee didn't meet my expectations. The service was excellent, thanks in part to Susane, who created a pleasant atmosphere with her positive energy and humor. Overall, a good experience, with room for improvement in the coffee department.

It took me long to accept that they touch the bread I buy with bare hands, hoping that their hands are at least clean. What I cannot accept is that they get cash in their hands from the customer before me and then they simply touch my bread as if it is the most normal thing to do. That has happened multiple times so, even though bread is good and people are nice, never again! Please improve your hygiene standards!

I queued up at the internet celebrity shop next door to try this one. The cakes are delicious and the coffee is so-so.

This particular bakery is very good. The moment you enter the bakery the smell buys you in. I love the variety of products they have from bread to sweets, savory and coffee. Staff are super and helpful.

Just down the street from Bruno’s Esspresso bar, Brood is the perfect spot for a croissant with your coffee. I tried a wide variety of their baked goods while visiting Amsterdam, and was not disappointed. I would reccomend the Appel Flap, and their Kaas Croissant- some of the best food of my trip. Their plain croissant was great too. My only hesitance to eating 5 stars was a cup of hot chocolate that was served too hot and burnt my tongue pretty badly. I would also say the feta and spinach treat is not worth it. Everything else was nearly perfect, would definitely recommend!

Very nice! The croissants are super good (we tried the cheese ones) and the pastries too. We fell in love with the lemon tartlet which was ultra soft and had a very airy texture in the mouth! The staff is also very nice and we were able to fill our bottles without any worries.

Excellency bread, croissants and other baked products. No sandwiches. Great coffee, too. Recommend for a coffee break.

We had a five-day stay in Amsterdam/Jordaan area. We found this on our first day, and it became our go-to morning stop. Loved the croissants and bread - very tasty. Bought double on Saturday since they are closed Sunday, so we had our breakfast every day!

I bought a cheese croissant. Because I visited late in the day, there was not much selection, but its cheese croissant was very good. The lady staff was also very friendly. I would like to try other breads.

We ordered some chocolate croissants and they arrived with chocolate colder than a penguin's house. The coffee and tea were good because it is difficult to do it wrong. The rest of the notable pastas are nothing to highlight about this place. Although the tea is hot, after 10 minutes it is still burning so between the cold of the croissant and the heat of the tea my mouth lost a lot of sensitivity.

Heerlijk prachtig brood, maar ik zal hier voorlopig wegblijven ivm de vreselijk hoge prijzen. Deze heer kan dat heerlijke bruin niet trekken, ik had het idee , dat ik 'n diamant kocht, welke kwalificatie dit baksel qua kwaliteit maar ook qua prijs n.m.m wel verdient. Zit U ruimschoots in Uw slappe was, aarzelt U niet dagelijks van dit bourgondisch bakgenot te genieten.De kwaliteit en de uitstraling verdienen het, echter Jan en Trien Modaal zullen dat in het voorbijlopen moeten doen.

Fantastic! the apple raisin bun is an amazing breakfast treat. Their standard loaf makes the best toastie imaginable. So happy they are close by.

Beautiful cafe with lovely staff and nice selection of baked goods. The spinach bake was great and the coffee was great as well. The artwork of how much people eat bread was lovely! Having some of the bread to eat in the bakery warmed up could be even better and the middle aisle felt like it could be moved to another place so more seatings could be made. Would love to get some bread in the future!

Every „Bbrood” is awesome. This is my favorite bakery. I have been to this location and there is a greater chance of buying bread when you leave the house a little later 😅 of course, the greatest choice is in the morning :)

Good bread. Love the seaweed and cheese bun. Just a tip, make a bell on the door. I have walked out a couple of times after calling into the kitchen but no-one heard and after a waiting a while I left. Has happened 4x already.
