Very tasty breakfast. Unfortunately, the seating is right next to the street.

Sadly, I've heard that this unique location is closing soon. It's a shame, because I loved coming here (and will continue to do so for a while). That doesn't change the fact that I found it informal yet formal, busy yet plenty of space, good beer, good food, and a great coffee spot. Recommended? Yes! Recommendation? Plenty of choice, but the Beej Benders specials, sushi, and vegan menus are popular. Parking is available nearby in the Nolensplein underground parking garage and the parking garage around the back. Was there for the first time today. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Very nice ambiance and plenty of space. There's a lot to write about, photos say more than words. Cod on vegetables and mashed potatoes topped with cheese. And rosemary potato wedges. Simply delicious.

I would give 5 stars if i received better French fries in the table

We come here every year for the Feel the Fifties festival and like to eat beej Benders because the food is good and the service is generally fast.

Every time you visit Venlo, Beej Benders is the first port of call. Whether it's delicious coffee, pizza or the best kibbelingen you've ever eaten. The quality and taste are always top. The staff is very friendly.

Ate asparagus with salmon. 3.5 very thin hard (steamed/boiled far too briefly) asparagus. Think 150 grams total. 7 baby potatoes, boiled egg and small salmon fillet for €24.50. Definitely not recommended. Shame

We go here for lunch more often, the food here is very tasty. Also an excellent choice for dinner. We always walk through the associated supermarket after lunch. Staff is always friendly, but it is noticeable when new staff are working.

Always well served, good quality food, cozy as they say in Venlo.

Sometimes it is very slow due to the shortage of staff, but that is compensated by good food.

We always buy ours for home here. This time I bought the Grandos Express and it tastes very tasty.

Delicious food, good portion, for a reasonable price than what you eat at most other restaurants in Venlo. Friendly service. Pleasantly busy, even on a Thursday evening, without reservation. We would love to come back.

Aanvankelijk kon het niet op bij het restaurant Beej Benders. Inmiddels na meerdere wisselingen holt het niveau achteruit. Wachttijden van meer dan een uur zijn geen uitzondering en de kwaliteit van de gerechten is beslist niet zoals bij de start. Heel spijtig!!!

We often and really enjoy eating at this “deli/supermarket” and restaurant. Whether breakfast, lunch, coffee & cake or dinner, we are always very satisfied with the quality. The staff and service have always been very accommodating. An all-round successful concept.

Have had better meals here before. Food could have been warmer. Fries dry and very hard. Salad very simple and nothing special and lots of red onion. Not necessarily worth repeating.

The food is great and the place is great however sometimes there’s unqualified people working and that brings down the experience however they have a very extensive beer collection which probably nobody around and. Great steaks also and many cool things.

The selection here is different but top. Fresh fish, meat, a bakery with one of the tastiest breads I could ever enjoy. The selection or even the so-called "daaghapje" in the restaurant is a dream, lots of local, creative, homemade products. I was really surprised at how well the seasoning was done here.🤤

We were in the shop at BeejBenders. Especially to buy some unusual beers. The 3 beers in the picture then made it into the shopping cart. However, it was sometimes very tricky to find out the price. Especially when these were discounted, no price was visible and could only be asked at the checkout.

It's delicious but the waiting time is really cruel. I've been waiting for breakfast for my daughter for almost half an hour 😡

Just a so-so market. It's poor for a place to sit and eat, and "average" for a shop. Supposedly recommended, but a bit disappointing. Prices normal for the Netherlands.

We simply were NOT served this lunchtime. Both the middle-aged gentleman and the young blonde lady simply ignored us at our table, about 5 meters in front of their counter, even though they looked over at us. We just went somewhere else. In any case, never here again.

Recommended. I ordered fries and kibbeling and a hot cocoa. The food and drink is brought quickly and is super tasty. The service is relatively quick and attentive. We wanted to sit outside. The atmosphere inside seems very nice to me.

After waiting about half an hour on a busy Sunday, lunch arrived. Looked good. Unfortunately, the bread was tough and the steak could hardly be cut with the sharp knife provided.

We go there regularly to buy chicken fillets etc as we are impressed by the quality. Depending on how hungry we are, we eat delicious kibbeling, breakfast, break the week 😋😋or just small lunch dishes, yes, it's a little more expensive but everything is freshly prepared and good quality. Employees in the store and in the restaurant are VERY friendly, helpful and attentive. The restaurant is constantly being redecorated and we feel very comfortable there. The only negative point is that in the cooler season it is unfortunately very drafty in the restaurant, so that you sometimes end up sitting there in your jacket 🫤 Conclusion: as soon as it gets colder, we won't eat there!!

Nice place to eat and stay. Menu is full of tasty safe dishes. The dishes are very good in the price/quality ratio. So good food for a reasonable price. Highly recommended! Sushi is now from Eddy Sushi, a bit more expensive but better than the one before. +1

We loved coming to the food court for the delicious Sushi and Poke bawls from beejbenders. Now it has suddenly become Eddy's sushi and a pokebawl is 6 euros more expensive. I don't like Eddy sushi, especially an overrated, venless thing. Too bad from eating square 4 times a week, we now go to 1 or 2 times a month (if there is a good daily snack)

Pork stew fries 🥗 and apple juice..

Had mussels with fries and salad for €22 and my partner had a hamburger for €15. Prices on the high side. The food was excellent, but my mussel pan was only 2/3 full and that for €22, which was actually scandalous! I would like to eat there again, but then the pan has to be filled to the brim!!!

A real disappointment, we had a club sandwich with 6 small pieces of chicken on it and hardly any salad or anything, the bread was much too thick and unevenly cut and also very tough. Took 35-40 minutes to make it even though it wasn't really busy, again those melted cola ice creams fritz cola, overpriced, won't go back

Cozy and nice restaurant located in a supermarket. You can sit inside or outside. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food impressed with its freshness and quality, it was very tasty and plentiful. A toilet is on the upper floor.

So we often go to restaurants in Holland. But we will never visit this restaurant again, there were 9 of us and we waited 1 hour and 30 minutes for the food (salad, fries and bread). The food didn't taste that good either.

We looked for a nice place to enjoy our lunch, but we we're really disappointed. The staff sadly ignored us from the arrivel till we tried to order food. We waited about 30 minutes for the menu, but we would have waited longer if we wouldn't have asked for the menu. After we ordered the food, we waited another 45 minutes for the food to arrive, it seems just because we asked for a feedback when we will get finally something to eat... Then they prepared the the burger and we got it after 5 minutes. The food was decent. When the waitress asked how the food was, i answered her that the food was good, but the wait time was unacceptable. She just replied that they were busy..... Well that didn't looked like that at all. That was our first and last time there.

Today, May 14, 2023, we enjoyed Mother's Day breakfast with our family! From the reception with bubbles to the dessert it was a great celebration. We lacked nothing! The mothers were also surprised with a nice gift. Compliments and see you soon!

Very nice shop where you can buy a lot of delicatessen! I can't say much about the food because we only drank coffee! (that's why only 4 stars for the food) I bought a piece of cheese which was really tasty. The atmosphere is great Very cozy and I will definitely go there again to buy more other goodies. We were there on Good Friday and there was a lot going on in Venlo. Gladly again...

Delicious food. Lots of choice.

The restaurant is quite cozy, the food was also good. But there could be some very good cleaning there! The floor and chairs are covered in dust. Whole pieces of lining are hanging loose under the chair seat. The cupboard where the cutlery is kept is very dirty, there are even cobwebs hanging in it. Can't really be called hygienic. Sit by the window and see the matter for yourself.

Good things have a price. 1. Quality meat, fish and fresh baked stuff! ... and yes, pizza... :-) Great service in the restaurant, terrace with a view of the Nolensplein - what's not to like :-) Bottle of beer comes with wet glass - it's the details... Benders' Ready Meals beat most Thuisbezorgd meals by far, btw. Ping! Every now and then in the deli counter: cowboy meat - like from the braai the morning after - lekka! Unfortunately a negative addendum: the Irish coffee - with spray cream, bad whiskey and coffee that tastes poor: what a shame!

Local food in a hospitable environment

Herring salad I saw it at the supermarket. But dear heavens, how terribly dirty, very salty. I think Haring had already had a different life. Instead of pieces of beetroot, there were slices of beetroot in it. Waste of my money.

Really great place! We had breakfast here and it was definitely one of the best breakfasts I've had in a restaurant. For €17.00 you can get a really good, generous breakfast for two people: rolls, very good bread, eggs, sausage, roast beef, cheese,… Absolutely to suggest. Food was tasty and sufficient. Bouncer with traditional bread, fresh ham and cheese and tasty garnish.

Had to wait far too long, 2 courses 2 and an hour and then didn't take the 3rd course. The lady who served us was great hence 5 stars for the service.

Made use of the birthday breakfast Facebook campaign. A warm welcome with a decorated table. Friendly catering employee, super attentive. Opted for Parkstraat breakfast, well, our eyes were bigger than our mouths. 2 fresh hard rolls, delicious brown sourdough bread, different types of toppings and a boiled egg. Was delicious. We couldn't finish it, we were asked if we wanted to take the rest with us. Very thoughtful that they ask that. Worth repeating and definitely recommended. Also super fun to do this with a group of family/friends.
