Beethoven Eten en Drinken in Wijk 01 Heemskerk-Dorp

I've actually been coming here since the old building. It's okay to sit there. But there's something wrong with ordering takeout. I called three failed orders, and they never resolved it, so I'm finally writing a review here. On the first home delivery, the delivery driver fell off his scooter. When we called the store, they knew it would take a bit longer. But we did get the order he had with him. It was cold and everything was a mess. Nothing was done about it. Last year I ordered takeout again, and when I got home, the burgers were still frozen. I called them, and they knew about it and said they'd keep a closer eye on it. We went there for lunch today. In the meantime, I'm placing an order for my daughter who's working. An American fillet sandwich with truffle mayonnaise shouldn't be a problem. But there is. I delivered it, went home, and received a photo of a completely different sandwich with onion, tomato, and egg. I called Beethoven, but unfortunately, they couldn't do anything about it. Great service 👎🏼 8 euros wasted So don't respond now that you mind!! Because I spoke to you on the phone.

Cozy cafeteria. We love coming here. From sandwiches to fries or satay platters, etc. Varied menu, friendly, open, and spontaneous staff. Restrooms available. Great!!

This used to be a gem when we lived in Heemskerk. Now it's a complete rip-off. It looks like a snack bar and the prices are like a gourmet eatery! Ordered food online in advance, €4.35 per portion of fries, but in the snack bar itself it was €3.25! So people who order beforehand end up paying much more. The portions of fries are also very small. The chicken satay used to be a complete meal. Now it's €16.50 for one skewer and a €5.00 surcharge for a second skewer. No, this isn't worth another visit.

We had a wonderful meal and the chicken spareribs are definitely recommended. Everything else we have eaten there so far has been delicious and well prepared.

The satay was delicious, the satay sauce was delicious. The hamburger was made of good meat.

Eerst moesten we nog 45 minuten op onze bestelling wachten wat maar 2 patat was, en dan sturen ze de verkeerde bestelling naar ons toe en pakte wij iets uit de bestelling om te kijken want we dachten gewoon dat het van ons was, maar daarmee hadden we de bestelling aangeraakt toen we vervolgens meerdere keren moesten bellen om onze bestelling terug te krijgen wouden ze die andere bestelling terug, maar die hadden wij natuurlijk weggegooid want dan kan je niet nog aan andere mensen geven maar willen ze nu nooit meer bij ons leveren omdat hun de fout hadden gemaakt

I can recommend the satay platter. Tasty, good portion-size, and reasonably priced. Good service (on the terrace) done by the owner/manager. Inside place is clean & tidy.

I thought what happened on last winter is just happened that moment but TODAY my husband told by the staff that he is forbidden to sit n eat there, BECAUSE LAST WINTER HE ANGRY TO THIS RESTO FOR NOT HELPING OUR UNCLE (WHO ALREADY 73 YO, AND HE IS SICK & DISABLE & ALREADY LIVED IN NURSERY HOUSE) TO OPEN THE SIDE DOOR FOR HIM, WE WANTED TO SEAT INSIDE SO NOT COLD COZ THAT WAS WINTER TIME They said he need to walk inside and not allowed the electric wheelchair went inside, should we need to seat outside in the winter and our uncle already old and disable??? (HE CANNOT WALKED!!!!) thats why my husband angry, we think thats NOT NICE what they did to our uncle, and today we wanted to seat there, and the staff said "YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE, SO GO OUT" and my husband said to him back "YOU ARE DISCRIMINATE TO OLD PEOPLE, SICK AND DISABLE. MY UNCLE IS DISABLE AND HE ONLY NEED HELP FOR YOU TO OPEN THE SIDE DOOR"

Bad service. Order incomplete and not the right one. When calling, no one answers, so we went. We are told that they think it is nonsense that we went and are not prepared to make it again.

That this place can still exist... Order of almost €70 was missing half of it, after trying to call 4 times but driving away with half the order. Then get a smart-aleck from a bald gentleman and make a fuss about getting your money back. Almost threw half the order through the tent. After some discussion, the bald gentleman chose to give the money back because the restaurant was full of people.

Great location for a coffee and snack after walking through the Friday weekly market. Friendly staff. I've been here many times. Nice terrace too.

It was no longer what it had been! In the past (over 30 years ago), Beethoven was one of the 2 best snack bars in the village! Now that I live in Heemskerk again, I visited it again, but was very disappointed. Mediocre fries, very small and mediocre bear bite (satay sauce was good), other snacks were fine. But the fries were really disappointing, they seemed like they had been fried for the 2nd time, which was impossible, too bad. Next time I'll have fries from the market!

Ah, Snackbar 't Extraatje, where customer friendliness ends at the threshold and the pricing policy seems like a social experiment. Here you don't pay for the food, but for the privilege of eating your frikandel inside. The prices at the counter are reasonable – at least for take away. But do you want to sit quietly and eat your fries war without haste? Be prepared for a surcharge that suggests you are taking a seat in a luxury restaurant with star status. Unfortunately, the ambiance remains at the level of a worn-out dining table with a wobbly leg and a radio that is set to 'irritating'. The fries were... present. The snack sauce had that perfect chemical taste you only get from a cheap factory pack. But the price increase inside made me start to think I was missing a gastronomic miracle. Was there perhaps truffle oil in the peanut sauce? A secret caviar topping on the croquette? Spoiler: no. In short, if you want to get the most out of your visit: order, walk outside and eat your fries while sitting on the curb. There you get the same taste experience, but without the ironic 'seating rent.' Enjoy your meal – but above all, cheaply.

Wat een belabberde service levert deze firma. Klant doet het allemaal fout & zij hebben het allemaal zo druk, totaal geen inlevingsvermogen en excuses dat zij niet alles leveren wat je wel heb besteld en tevens op de bon staat. Niet hier wezen dus

What terrible service this company provides. Customer does it all wrong & they are all so busy, no empathy at all and excuses that they do not deliver everything you ordered and is also on the receipt. So don't be here

Food is good, but they are damn childish. Placed an order in the snack bar, the man ordered everything, asked to eat here or take it away? I say (note HR, it is a snack bar) I say we will eat it here. Man says oh, just sit down and you can pay later (instead of him saying now if you eat it here you have to pay extra !Please note, it is just an ordinary snack bar. Every snack bar in the Netherlands does not charge anything extra if you eat it on the spot. Anyway, we get everything on one plate... and then I go to pay, it is suddenly much more expensive. I say How strange, just when ordering, he checked everything and came up with a much cheaper amount. The lady now acted as if I had misunderstood that. It was bad acting. So I paid a higher amount. Very, very childish, just like you If you eat it here in the snack bar, you have to pay more. The food was fine. But these kinds of things go too far for me. It's about the principle. You won't see me there again. People, you have been warned, so pay immediately and then go Sit down. This way they can't catch you anymore. Yuck

Zeer klantonvriendelijk voor mensen met een handicap en het gebruik van een (elektrische) rolstoel en/of scootmobiel en/of rollator. Er zijn twee ingangen, 1x aan de voorkant bij het terras en 1x aan de zijkant. Omdat het terras vol was aan de voorkant wilden wij met een elektrische rolstoel en scootmobiel via de ingang aan de zijkant naar binnen. Echter te lui en te lammelendig en arrogant om deze deur open te doen (staat standaard op slot), heb het over die kale meneer met oorbellen (zie hun website). Na lang wikken en wegen wilde die kale meneer de zijdeur opendoen. Maar toen was het voor ons al te laat en zijn we naar een andere snackbar gegaan. Sinds ze zijn verhuisd naar het nieuwe pand zijn ze erg arrogant geworden in hun service, nou geen service dus. Kom er nier meer.

Very tasty lunch at this highly refined snack bar. That's what you think when you enter, but nothing could be further from the truth: an excellent menu with an extensive menu. Very friendly staff. We didn't think main meals were really cheap.

Well, I once went to Beethoven with a friend for a milkshake and when we were waiting 10 minutes to order while they weren't doing anything, they, my friend, are you going to help us and then a plump man came who got angry and they that we were impatient and then he grabbed my friend and threw him out of the cafeteria and then me too really bad DO NOT COME

Had a delicious old-fashioned satay at Beethoven's again, it was great again guys.

I ordered 2 frikadellen with curry and a bami block. Do I have to pay 9.65 euros? When I get home there is no curry, okay, it could have been forgotten. Always check the website to see what it costs. Turns out it's 6.00 euros without the curry. I went back and the owner said that the site has not yet been updated, but these prices have been on the site for a very long time. He was willing to refund the curry sauce. But still a very unpleasant experience. Too bad they had a bad turn. Ruud V

Ordered the Easter box with satay tonight. Large portion for that price (€15). Wonderfully warm and delivered on time. Eating at Beethoven is also always sufficient and enjoyable.

We waited over 2 hours for our order tonight. I called to find out where it was. The answer I got was yes, it is busy and it is now ready to be delivered. Then waited another half hour. Well then it finally happened. 2.5 hours. Ridiculous. And we got cold fries and snacks. I was always a fan of this place. But for almost 28 euros for 2 fries and 2 frikadellen and 2 croquettes, I can probably expect warmer food. Disappointing.

The place is neat and the service is nice. Fries were taken away, the onion was nowhere to be seen and the sauce was also quite mediocre in the container. The peanut sauce was very tasty. The worst part is that the fries were double fried. All in all a lame meal first and last time….

What onkernokel tent say delivers an hour late, food is cold

Upon entry, there is a row of paper bags spanning the entire width for customers who have ordered by telephone. If you place your order on the spot, the customers who come in after you and have ordered will be helped first, and additional additional orders placed on the spot will be processed first. . I'm not going to wait for this anymore. Bad policy causing long waiting time.

Just don't feel like cooking in between. Then they are happy to do that for you here. Enjoy. Busy. Despite staff shortages. Good service. Too bad that delivery people are in the business. See you next time.

De lekkerste carpaccio uit de regio, heerlijke vers belegde broodjes en vriendelijk personeel. Ook de inktvisringen zijn zeer aan te raden.

Als je als snackbar op google en andere websites adverteert dat je tot 22.00u geopend bent en je wordt door personeel om 21.15u op onvriendelijke wijze met gebarentaal door het raam duidelijk gemaakt dat ze gesloten zijn, dan heb je het bij mij als snackbar echt volledig verpest. Die zien mij nooit meer terug als klant. Gelukkig zijn er genoeg andere snackbars in de omgeving.

Echt super! Behalve dat het heel goed smaakte , werd het ook mooi opgemaakt geserveerd. Hebben hier een heel ruime keuze aan verscheidene menu's. De vismaaltijdsalade was zalig en ook de gemarineerde saté was perfect. De porties waren ook lekker groot!

We hebben hier met een groep van 10 personen heerlijk gegeten. Lekkere frites met iets erbij in een gezellige ruimte. Echt de moeite waard om een bezoek te brengen.
