Top food, delicious, fast even though it was busy and good price-quality ratio.

Food, service and location is great. The shrimp fried dumplings were soooooo good. The banh mi was so delicious and filling. The chicken leg with rice was also good. The owner was also very friendly, highly recommended!

Best Banh Mi I've had since Vietnam!

I ordered a shrimp rice roll, soup, noodles, and a cola, and it came to 16.5 euros. I ordered soup because I wanted something warm, but I recommend eating banh mi rather than soup. The roll was delicious and the soup was okay, but considering the price, I think it was okay.

While the food is yummy, service is slow and bad. Orders sometimes take half an hour to be ready (while you wait in the street), and are often mixed up.

As a Vietnamese, I have to say that this Banh Mi is very original, like 85%, because some Vietnamese ingredients are only available in Vietnam. However the taste is very delicious 9 - 9.5/10. After living in the Netherlands for 3 years I have finally found a bahn mi with the correct bread and with pate like the traditional ones I’m used to. The bun thit nuong also hit the spot. I’ll be coming from Rotterdam to Delft just to hit up Ben’s hole-in-the-wall restaurant. The only think I was missing was some spicy sriracha-style sauce to kick it up a notch. This place is not to be missed. I’ve tried a lot of bahn mi in this country served on the wrong bread with the wrong fillings this one is deliciously authentic.

Not recommended 😕 if you are looking for real Vietnamese street food or dishes. Will skip definitely next time in Delft. Bland flavours, missing or incomplete dishes not served according to the menu. I don't remember ever eating a real Vietnamese dish without coriander or mint accompanying their fresh spring rolls. The cucumber was sliced in thick pieces instead of thin and crispy. Really sad and cannot comprehend how do they get such reviews. On the positive side their service is with a smile.

This restaurant specializes in Vietnamese snacks. There are not many indoor seats. When the weather is good, you can sit outside in the open air. The vegetables in the spring rolls (Goi Cuon) are sweet and juicy, and the shrimps are not only plentiful but also very flavorful. They are delicious even without dipping in sauce. Banh Mi is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with lots of fillings and well-matched ingredients. You can taste the sweet vegetables and tender roasted pork in every bite. The wontons are not big, but the fillings are fried shrimp and pork. They are very tasty, but the soup base is a bit salty. The fried lemongrass chicken thighs are fried immediately upon ordering. They are fragrant and flavourful, but not very lemongrassy. Maybe this restaurant is mainly for tourist business, and the menu is all in English. Every food is cheap and delicious, but there are not many drink options. I originally wanted to order a cup of Vietnamese coffee, but unfortunately it was sold out.

Ordered several times via Uber Eats and always delicious! Spring rolls arrive still piping hot and the rolls are always fresh and crispy. The Vietnamese coffee is really AMAZING. Highly recommended!!

The taste was not 'oriental' (I have Indian and Chinese family) and it differs little from what you get as a generous sandwich in a Dutch snack bar. And the price is quite high for 'takeaway in a bag'.

To be brutally honest as usual. This is the best Vietnamese delft. If you want good food, this is highly recommended.

Unfortunately a bad experience at this restaurant. Half of the ingredients were missing from the sandwich and I also doubted whether it was vegetarian meat. Fortunately, I'm a flexitarian so I didn't want to make an issue of that. When I said something about it, I was given a loose egg, but it was half-baked? And the mushrooms were omitted again. It's all a bit crazy. Paid 7.50 for a sandwich with mainly lettuce. Shame. In any case, I won't be coming back here again.

Best Bahn Mi I had since I visited Vietnam. The service is very friendly and I can always customise my order ( I don’t particularly enjoy coriander). I made it a habit to eat there every Sunday!

If you want to quickly get a sandwich, a Bahn Mi (Vietnamese sandwich) is a perfect solution. All Bahn Mi's are delicious. My girlfriend and I can no longer walk by without getting a sandwich. The owner is always up for a chat.

Prepared just for you, this small street restaurant is a little jewel in the historic area. It attracts students, tourists, and locals alike. If you are lucky, you get a table. But really, you can find a nice bridge around the corner and have a great meal. About $10 per person or up to $20 if you add a starter and a drink. The pork belly was delicious and tender. It's worth a visit when in Delft.

We ate here twice, returning because of the high quality food. The chicken and egg dish, pork and egg dish and spring rolls were amazing! Food is delicious, hot and generous serves. Very competitive prices I thought. The staff really kind and lovely to chat with 😍

I find it amazing that this place has such good reviews - the banh mi sandwiches were bland with low-quality fatty and bony chicken, and the spring rolls were also bland and came with an unappetizing spicy ketchup - it was also too expensive for what it was. On the positive side, the people who run it are nice and the location is pretty good if crowded.

The price is high for the quantity. The taste is worse than the local taste.

The most authentic bánh mì I've ever had outside of Vietnam. I'm comparing this with decades of tastings in France (Paris, Poitiers and other cities), Australia, and the US. The ingredients are 100% the way they should be and they bake their own bread. In case you don't eat pork or meat then the vegetarian option is just as good. They use king oyster mushrooms as substitute but marinated the same way, and I feel like I am not missing anything AT ALL. Haven't tried many of the other dishes though, but they seem good too.

I ordered the original bahn mi. The bun was perfectly toasted, the pork was very tender and the pate was such a nice flavor enhancer! Simple but really delicious with those fresh ingredients!

Banh Mi Ben's sandwiches are simply amazing! I took their banh mi with a pork belly filling and the flavors of the meat and the greens melded really well. In addition, their use of a softer type of bread compared to other banh mi I have had so far lends the sandwich a texture that is a joy to chomp on. All in all, I highly recommend their sandwiches and I cannot wait to go back to try the other flavors of their banh mi!

This is proper genuine and delicious Vietnamese food. The real deal. It’s also freshly made the authentic way on-premise. Good portion sizes too. They are really friendly kind people with a love for making nice Vietnamese food and they truly deserve a 5 star rating. A great addition to Delft right in the old center. In the summer you can sit outside, they don’t have seats inside.

Amazing Banh Mi. So satisfying and tasty with freshly made bread. I am no expert but felt really authentic and great Vietnamese coffee. Pretty quick service too and reasonably priced for the quality. Would definitely recommend.

Super cute streetfood spot. The staff is very, very lovely. The price is a big in the high range for street food, but it is totally worthy - and not expensive after all. I tried the vegetarian special sandwich and veggie loempias and it was delicious. I recommend it.

I got a takeaway from this place. Original Banh Mi The bread was perfect. The meat was super soft and the flavours were just the way it should be. The staff was very friendly and patiently explained the difference between the different options they have. I hope to try some of their other banh mi options soon.

Pretty good price for a light lunch at centrum of delft. The sauce could be tastier though. Instead of just diluted fish sauce, they could make good use of their authentic way of mixing sweet, sour, spicy, and salty elements (basiaclly lime juice, fish sauce, chili pepper and sugar) as the sauce for the bun.

One of the best Banh Mi I've had. Unlike other places, they bake their own bread in-house so you get the real authentic bread used in Vietnam. My favourite is their roasted pork that is delicious either in banh mi, rice or noodles. This place is a gem in Delft.

We ordered a Vietnamese baguette (pork & pate), a kip bun and an iced coffee. All are homemade and taste super rich of Vietnamese favor and style which is difficult to find in the Netherlands. The owner always asks the guests’ feedback. It is a good way to connect with the guests and improve the quality. Recommend to eat if you would like to have an authentic Vietnamese taste.

Ik liep er per toeval langs en was blij verrast. Bahn mi besteld en na het opeten van dit broodje was ik nog blijer. Wat een lekker vers belegd knapperig broodje. Het vlees, de kruiden en het sausje smaakten perfect. Normaal kan je dit soort lekkernijen alleen in Rotterdam of Den Haag eten, maar vanaf nu dus ook in Delft.
