De Koffer used to be a really nice cafe, where you could taste delicious beers, especially after a day of working in the catering industry. Nowadays no beer lovers come along, and this has to do with the exhausted service level, exhausted women behind the bar who have been working there for years, let alone the professionals behind the bar. The catering industry is expensive, you used to meet beer makers and enthusiasts on the terrace, but not anymore, as the soul has gone from the business. Addition: if prices rise, we call this the elasticity curve, then the catering industry in general is quite affected by inflation. If we maintain the level before inflation, we see a decrease in Cafe visits with the same service, sometimes it is better to change the business with a new concept and new staff, for example with a beer lady installation! This stands! It is no longer a sanctuary where cases are closed. Emotionally bankrupt.

Favourite beer place in Groningen. Their variety and range of beers is amazing. I ordered mostly dark beers and stouts, and I was happy with all of them. The atmosphere (both indoor and outdoor) is great.

It was open bottle evening again, this time 6 beers. Alcohol percentage between 5 and 12 percent. This open bottle evening is organized once a month on the third Monday of the month. Furthermore, you have a lot of beers and pleasant staff and a decent terrace for open bottles in the evening, but you must book in advance

Barmaids are simply great, they understand your taste and always know how to get the right beer.

How much choice do you want? Here you won't have enough time to peruse the menu, but luckily the staff knows a lot about their own product. Always great advice and we regularly play cards there. I wouldn't even know what kind of music is being played, the ambiance is good enough for a good conversation. Walked out satisfied every time, usually a lot later than planned ;)

The beer pub with the widest selection of craft beers in the city most likely. I had amazing and interesting beers here, should definitely check out if you really like beers.

Great cafe with a huge selection of beers, incuding a selection of beer on tap. It's a good place to hang out, relax and try a few different beers. The terrace is usually full wjen the wheather is nice, but inside it's also nice and cozy. One of my favorite places in Groningen. Service is good and friendly.

Wir suchten auf spontan eine Bierbar. Hier wurden wir nicht enttäuscht. Es blieb kein Wunsch offen. Wir bestellen auch eine Ham and Cheese Sandwich, was sehr lecker war. Hier gerne wieder.

Als je van speciaalbier houdt, ben je hier op de juiste plek. Zeer ruime keuze uit verschillende soorten. Ook zeldzame speciaalbieren te krijgen, maar op = op. Aardig personeel met kennis van zaken.

Lekkere biertje, goede tips en lekkere hapjes erbij

Het beste biercafé in het noorden, zo wel niet in Nederland. De menukaart wisselt bijna om de dag en er is echt voor elk wat wils. Wat ik zo fijn vindt aan dit café is dat het personeel je thuis laat voelen. Zo herkende Roosmarijn mij al na 1 bezoek en ze onthoudt zelfs je smaak.. maar niet alleen Roosmarijn, iedereen is erg meedenkend en kundig hier.

Leuke tent. Na mening populair verzoek zelfs gulpener gladiator in het menu.

Voor mij de allerbeste bierbar in Nederland en ook in het buitenland tot nu toe nog niets beters kunnen vinden. Heerlijke en bijzondere bieren, waarbij het grootste gedeelte van de kaart vaak wisselt. Ik ben zelf fan van de New England IPA’s en daarvan vind je hier echt de allerbeste. Ook nog eens voor prima prijzen en altijd een gezellige en relaxte sfeer.

Zoals we steeds troffen in Groningen, of een besloten feest of een mosselavond. Dus om 17.30 moesten we het pand verlaten. Maar het iseen heel gezellig cafe met heel veel lekkere bieren.
