I've ordered from here several times, but this Sunday there was no one in the store. The noodle dish was fried to a crisp, the fries were also fried to a crisp, and the hogweed was also overcooked. The hamburger was good. But overall, I'm not satisfied with the price you pay these days; I'll look elsewhere!

I ordered food.. The burger was okay, but I also ordered chicken strips, exactly 3, with special ketchup. They charge extra for each item so I could order it home.. And of course, the standard wings with chili sauce arrived... So, a cheaper alternative for the price of a more expensive strip...

Do you have a new chef? We ordered from you again a few weeks ago, and the food was absolutely delicious! We had two types of burgers, a kapsalon, and fries. What a delicious garlic sauce! Keep up the good work, we'll definitely be ordering more!

I'll happily skip this one next time.

Ate today, spring roll menu with cold fries, no satay sauce, they say, I will report it!!!!! Paid 13.95 for it... for a kids menu you have to ask for it (gift), put the cutlery down, put the knife and fork down.... !!! more than enough reason to never eat here again... no chance. ...there's still a lot of room to improve, it's a waste of 55 Euro for me... there's also a lot of cold coming in, so keep your jacket on...

I don't think it's a very clean place. Staff are running their hands through their hair, returning from taking orders, immediately taking items from the display case without washing their hands. Some even take items with their coats and helmets still on, and walk behind the counter with them. I was quite shocked. That's just not how it should be; it's not very hygienic.

A really good snack bar. Everything was simply delicious, fresh, and not greasy. Friendly service too. Best snack bar in Leusden and the surrounding area!

My son and I stop here whenever we see Sharon or one other particular employee working that day. They prepare the fries deliciously. They keep a close eye on the quality of the frying fat, etc., flush the ice cream machine when necessary, etc. The sorbet will hopefully get an upgrade soon. The canned fruit, which tastes heavily of preservatives, detracts from the ice cream and the rest of the food. So, no sorbet for now. More people feel the same way. It's better to remove it from the menu or adapt it: in a glass/cup with fresh fruit, 7-Up, and a straw/long, narrow spoon for fruit. If Sharon and/or the other employee worked here every day and the sorbet were as good as the service, it would definitely get 5 stars!!! And then we'll eat sorbets often :) !!!

The food is average, just like at any other snack bar. However, the delivery is taking a while. Another 45 minutes late! I called to ask why...it's rush hour and there aren't enough delivery drivers. Maybe they should offer fewer options for delivery times. I didn't really get the impression they were bothered. This was my last order here. Plenty of competitors are willing to deliver on time.

Bad experience. One of the staff members was cursing quite a bit, and we were initially just ignored. The glass was covered in greasy fingerprints. The same staff member left the restroom without washing his hands and then touched food from the orders. Orders were messed up. Not a good experience; we won't be back.

See receipt, ordered at 5:05 PM and delivered at 6:30 PM. And mediocre burgers and greasy noodle snacks. Not an asset to Leusden.

Saturated and the rest in the Doggybag

Ordered a catamaran, in a deep plate with meatballs on top and sauce on the side, this isn't how it should be! The taste was good, but the presentation was a shame.

The milkshake was way too sweet, a waste of money because we couldn't finish it. The fries were fine, and the delivery person was also very friendly!

The Big Blackjack Burger is a must! Today I tried the Big Blackjack Burger with fries at Big Bread Kitchen and really… what a surprise! The burger is juicy, well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The combination with the smoky sauce and fresh toppings makes it deliciously different from standard burgers. The portion of fries was generous and nicely crispy. Everything is freshly prepared and you can taste that. The service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere in the shop is relaxed. If you fancy a hearty, tasty burger without any fuss: you have to try this!

After several disappointments at other snack bars in Leusden, I finally found a good one. Snacks and fries taste great, delivered quickly and warm. Good website too, nice that you can indicate if you want extra well-done fries. I will definitely come back here.

Already picked up a few times. Food was not very special. Until I noticed that the fries suddenly tasted different. Can happen, not a big problem. When I placed another order, I saw to my great surprise that fries that were already fried and in a container went straight back into the fryer. I threw away my order at home, I will not come here again.

Don't buy Sunday, you pay more than €4 for a pitiful small bowl of ice cream with a few caramel crumbs. On top of that there are children working there at an age where they are not even allowed to work I think?

We sat inside for fifteen minutes, no one saw us or spoke to us? Staff went for a break while we were waiting.. Too bad, if you don't want to serve anyone, you shouldn't put menus on the tables in the seating area. It wasn't busy either, 1 person waiting for his takeaway.

A French fry is 2.90, fries with is 3.80(!?) 90 cents for a little bit of fries sauce!? Even the Mac is not that expensive! That was also a one-off so...

You can have a nice supper there, but I do think that when you have finished eating, the dirty plates should be taken away and you should possibly ask if anyone wants something to drink.

I can't say much about home delivery. We can be found here regularly (2 to 3 times a month, it is dangerous - for the line - close). We simply think the burger menus are super tasty! (especially the Big Bread burger menus, but it is always difficult to choose). A truly top tent with quality in the category. Update: one point of criticism, the smoke smell inside because the staff smoke too close to the door. That really makes waiting (takeaway) and eating inside not attractive. That wasn't the case the first time we came there. Therefore atmosphere back to 3.

A few years ago I gave a positive review to 't Friethuys. This business has since been taken over and now bears the name Big Bread Kitchen. I see that my review of t Friethuys has now been placed under the new business name. This is of course not correct because the review below applied to the previous business/owner. I really don't think that's possible.

Had a delicious lunch! Service is smooth and friendly. Food was on the table quickly and hot. The menu is very extensive with all kinds of tasty options. We would love to come back again 😃

Ordered from BigBread today. Everything in perfect order. Quality is good and delivery is super fast. Within 20 minutes the doorbell rang. And that before Friday around 6:00 PM. If the quality remains this way, I will be a regular customer.

Very poor service, a lot of noise behind the counter. Whether the staff has fucked is of no concern to the guest. Delivery people give the impression of a playgroup!

I really didn't like the satay. But PLEASE NOTE that is my opinion.

We ordered online. And on 1 menu indicated without mushroom and on the other without fried onion. We get delivered with mushrooms and onions. Could have been a little warmer. Delivered on time.

The owners are Chinese people who work hard and understand the catering industry well. However, the staff working there is not good. Twice already I have placed an order and had to pay the price for the food there at checkout. Clearly stated when ordering, the difference was €8. Employee said goodbye or else not. That is real customer friendliness. If I were the owner, I would start working on that very quickly.

They have good quality food but it's all super slow. We waited for fifteen minutes and were given a bag that was already there before we arrived. Their response was: 'just finished'. Very bad service.

Nice place to eat. We recently had lunch there with a group. The only downside was that we had to wait quite a while for our food, so we actually lost more time than the break at the office lasts. Parking is available in front of the door and the food is not bad! A small mistake was made, but it was neatly resolved. We were allowed to distribute the wrong dish, so it did not have to be thrown away. --- Update: after a period of six months we had something to eat here again. There are few improvements. Of the four individual orders we placed, two were correct. The other two orders were incorrect or incomplete. The incomplete order had to be pointed out several times. The fries war was delivered with onion at one, and without onion at the other. This time we sat on the terrace. Looks fine, but it was annoying that there was smoking.

It was not busy in the shop and I had specially ordered 2 frikandels and there was hardly any curry or onions on them and too much mayonnaise. Everything was in one place on the side and the fries could have been fried longer.

Unfortunately a bad experience this afternoon/tonight. After seeing the advertising brochure on the bus, I went to have a look, but as far as I'm concerned, it's not worth repeating. Service seems young and inexperienced. Glasses are grabbed by the staff with their hands by the edge and placed down. I ordered a chicken schnitsel menu myself, the plate was neatly presented, but the schnitzel was clearly fried for too long and had dark edges that were difficult to cut. I therefore doubted whether it was the chicken schnitsel. The staff no longer came to ask if we were satisfied or if we would like something to drink, so we left it as is. But cut off the edges of the schnitzel and ate what was possible. The children both had a playpen that was neatly maintained, but it was a bit inconvenient to eat without a plate. At checkout the amount was mentioned and I could pay. After asking, I received the receipt and saw when I went outside that a pork cutlet had been charged. Didn't get a discount on the two playpens as stated in the brochure: 2 for 11.95. Overall a disappointing experience.

Very tasty food! Nice place, good service and a very sweet lady behind the counter and in the service...absolutely worth it to eat a delicious sandwich!

We ordered online for pickup. Asked in the store for a bowl of special sauce, they said you should have ordered online. When we got home there was no mustard (still paid for extra). Ordered tenderloin steak menu. However, the tenderloin was so tough that we threw it away.

Even during busy times, it was amazing how tasty the steak tips are and the keriakki chicken, with the super fries. Hi so full! Definitely come back.

Very unfriendly and slow, but the food was tasty

(When it was still Het Friethuys. Now that it's called Big Bread Kitchen, I don't even know if they have spare ribs.) If we want to treat ourselves, we order the spare ribs! They fall off the bone and are delicious. The service is always good and everyone is super friendly. And in this Corona time we do our part by ordering directly from them without the intervention of Thuisbezorgd.nl. 't Friethuys is an absolute must. And not just because of the spareribs. 😍

I've tried some fries here and there in Leusden, but BB Kitchen is really the tastiest

Ordered food here twice now and after a year and a half of looking for a place where we think they have really good fries, we finally found it at BigBread Kitchen. And the burgers are also tasty. Very satisfied!

The visit was for lunch, nice place, nice staff and good food. More expensive than average, but you can definitely taste that. have enjoyed!

Ordered a crispy chicken burger. Used to be a very tasty burger. Now there were pieces of chicken strips that had been fried for far too long, covered in an unappetizing sauce containing mushrooms. It used to be very tasty matte, but it was really impossible to eat. 10 euros wasted, I won't be back

Ordered last Saturday, order had not arrived 25 minutes after agreed time. Phone is not answered. When the order finally came, they had put the gluten-free frikandel in the same packaging as the normal frikandel. The two were indistinguishable, so the person with a gluten allergy did not have a frikandel. Definitely won't order here again next time

Het terras, tenminste als je dat zo.kan noemen slaat nergens op. Mensen die roken is tot daar aan toe, maar als je dan ergens anders wilt zitten kan dat niet. Want de tafels staan zo dat je nergens anders kan zitten. Wil je binnen zitten, op een plek zijn erg geen stoelen. Eten was ok. Personeel is erg amateurisch.

Zonde hoe het nu geworden is sinds de overname. Kwam aangelopen om mijn bestelling op te halen, waar al het personeel buiten zat te roken. Binnengekomen werd ik niet direct geholpen door de collega die binnen stond al had ze mij wel gezien. Toen kwam iemand van buiten helpen waar ik meekreeg dat er nog niks gedaan was wat allang gedaan had moeten zijn voor bezorging. Friet was veelste zout.

De overname is nog geen verbetering. Alleen de prijzen zijn op niveau gebleven.

Zondagavond wilden we hier weer eens eten. Voorheen een prima plek, goede hamburgers etc. Nu kregen wij te horen dat de maaltijden Hamershof Burger en Spare-Ribs niet meer gemaakt konden worden, alleen patat met een snack. We hebben hier gegeten en het eten was met een (zeer) eenvoudige snackbar te vergelijken best goed, maar dat men geen maaltijden meer serveert als je daar eet terwijl ze wel gewoon bij de desk hangen op de borden.....Het was niet eens druk (wij waren de enige gasten in het restaurant gedeelte, maar nu snap ik ook waarom!)

Vandaag voor het eerst sinds de overname een bestelling geplaatst. Bezorging duurde een half uur langer dan gepland. De bestelde hamburger smaakte net zoals het eruit zag; namelijk niet. (Terwijl dit voorheen altijd heel goed was!) Raspatat qua smaak prima, maar kleine portie met allemaal kleine stukjes. De bestelde kipcorn ontbrak, uiteraard gebeld, maar er werd niet opgenomen. Jammer, het was gemakkelijk op te lossen geweest als de telefoon wel opgenomen werd.

Ik heb me echt verbaasd...2 jonge meiden achter de bar...1 met een blote buik, de andere met een topje aan...je staat met heet vet te werken. Verder hadden ze beiden hun haren los, waar de hele tijd aangezeten werd,, terwijl ze met je eten bezig zijn. We hebben maar een broodje kroket en frikandel genomen, leek me het veiligst

Bestelling kwam pas een half uur later dan aangegeven, de bestelling klopte niet en de gehaktbal was zwart. Telefonisch niet bereikbaar voor eventuele service.

Steeds als er een nieuwe uitbater komt, is het slechter.

Onlangs is de snackbar van eigenaar gewisseld. Menu is nog hetzelfde en vandaag voor het eerst onder de nieuwe eigenaar besteld. Ik bestelde altijd bij de snackbar voor de heerlijke burgers. Die was nog oke, maar helaas wordt er nu ander vlees gebruikt. Dit is echt een gemiste kans en daardoor 4 sterren. Hopelijk gaan jullie weer snel over op de oude burgers.

Lot's of fries for your buck. Some things are a bit more pricey but everything is very affordable. The meal portions (when had in the restaurant) are great!

Heel net cafetaria met ruime zitplek. Eten was snel klaar en lekker.

Matige kwaliteit en kleine porties. Tafels staan zonder stoelen, bestelling klopt niet en de gezelligheid druipt er bepaald niet vanaf. Beter naar de Jacco's wanneer je in Leusden bent.

Vorig jaar was ik erg enthousiast en schreef ik dit: "Woon nu al een aantal jaar in Leusden en had hier nog nooit iets gehaald. Dat zal wel veranderen. Wát een goddelijke spareribs! De friet was ook prima en zelfs de salade (toch vaak een soort afgeraffeld 'moetje') was prima. De Dutch burgers zagen er ook erg lekker uit. Heb ik niet geproefd, maar de kinderen vonden ze heerlijk." Ik betaalde toen €12,85 in totaal, dus mét burger. Een jaar later... Ik bestelde weer de spareribs, het menu. Nog steeds malse spareribs, maar niet zo goddelijk als toen. Friet nog steeds lekker, maar erg weinig. Salade: dat is een moetje geworden. Kortom: best een achteruitgang. De prijs niet hoor. De inflatie doet zijn werk... Schrik niet, dat heb ik al gedaan: €18,50!!! (Op de menukaart op de site staat overigens als prijs €15,95 met 600 gram spareribs. Maar als je online bestelt (bellen valt daar kennelijk ook onder) dan betaal je €18,50! Voor 500gram...) Ik heb begrip voor de moeilijke situatie waarin ondernemers zitten en ben alleszins bereid een hoger bedrag te betalen, maar hier voel ik me aan alle kanten gepakt.

Goed eten maar met thuisbezorgen ontbreekt er altijd wat.

Lekker eten, en nog redelijk te betalen

Lekkere hamburger (met extra bacon) en prima frietje. Aan de bijgeleverde tandenstoker had ik niet zo heel veel behoefte, maar het pepermuntje werd op prijs gesteld.

Stond te wachten en iedereen die op het terras na mij kwam ging voor. Dacht even snel frites te halen. Kreeg nog een stom antwoord van een medewerker toen ik hier om vroeg hoe dat kon.

Normaal gesproken is het eten prima, maar nu was mijn halve kip ijskoud van binnen. Jammer

Prima te doen, wij krijgen vaak buikpijn van snackbar-eten maar bij Friethuys niet!

Prima zaakie. Soms lekker lunchen hier in de pauze, werk om de hoek dus helemaal top. Tikkie duurder als de gemiddelde snackbar maar ook wat hogere kwaliteit 👍🏼
