A bit of a food shed with limited choices, but sufficient. But it is also very convenient not to have to have breakfast in the bungalow.

We ordered fries 🍟 and they came in the bowl unseasoned, so we left them and left!

The food was very cold for the very high prices. Long wait times, uncoordinated staff, and no system.

Ordered fish & chips. You get 4 pieces of fish with a bowl full of fries. No sauce with the fish and or a lemon for the taste. But we pay 15 euros, we won't do it again. But we do have beer👍🏻 at some point it also got really cold by the way

For 15 euros you get 2 sticks with some kind of chicken, dry fries and no sauces.

Gosh. But you can't say that either. Because even with the big Swedes you can definitely eat better. The prices are a bit excessive. Fish & chips €14.95. For a few fries with about 6 pieces of fish. Dry schnitzel with fries €15.95. Of course an amusement park wants to make money, they definitely do that here, because it wasn't great in terms of quality. But just the pure food, for 3 adults and 2 children's menus was just €90. Drinks were added for 1 Capri Sun, 2 mini bottles of chocomel and 3 bottles of 200ml cola for just under 20 euros. So honestly never again. Even in the large Heide Park, the food is better and not so excessive. We don't even need to talk about the cleanliness of the tables

Buffet really sucks. Food looks like it has been there for weeks and tastes like it too. Staff surly and unfriendly. After a complaint I got 50% back, but even that wasn't worth it.

We went to dinner buffet, it was mediocre at best..

Nice place to sit, but the staff can't even speak Dutch. The lady makes coffee while the young man hangs over the counter. If someone then asks for a dustpan and wiper because of dropping drinks, they simply do not help. And very customer friendly when I'm paying and then the two of us start talking in Spanish and don't even tell the customer what it costs. Really worthless!

See my review of the entire park. This was one of the low points: bad food with bad staff. No one spoke proper Dutch, and it was total chaos about exactly what you could order, how to order, and then where to pick it up. Tip: the grumpy woman behind the counter is your final destination, and apparently, you have to pick up your food there, which you've randomly ordered over a counter. If you then want a frikandel for your children, which you see there (it wasn't indicated anywhere), it's artistically flicked onto a plate and shoved at you. Additional opinion: I still find 3 euros for a bottle of cola outrageous, but unfortunately, you find that "graablation" everywhere.

Firstly it was poorly organized with few staff and instructions. Also, of the 8 employees, only 2 spoke Dutch and it was difficult to communicate about what was being served, etc. The atmosphere was dramatically bad, all the flies that landed on the food and flew around us.

It's not nice that there are no Dutch-speaking staff present. Small children cannot buy here themselves. Furthermore, it is a nice restaurant with enough space. Self-service and it was complicated to find everything and the price is not listed for the pastries in the refrigerator.

A fine restaurant, but it was a shame that the elderly couple dropped out because they could not order their grandchildren's food in English. Seems a bit exhausted.

Quite expensive! But you know that, the burger was really tasty but the fries should have been a minute longer, especially for that price

Paid 40 euros for dinner, but I had the feeling that I could only get my food in the children's section. Fries or potato croquettes with rancid vegetables. Satay with sauce or a piece of salmon cooked for too long. Furthermore, no variation on the grill. Only the salmon that was on it too long. I have to pay 2 euros for the drink, but it comes from a large bottle and has been losing its spiciness for fifteen minutes because it had already been poured. Dessert was a joke. Hard pancake or profiteroles with strawberry ice cream or chocolate ice cream on the side. Plates are not collected in between. For the children a frikadel with hardened meatball on a stick. The carparcio was tasty, but I missed the pine nuts. Two stars for the atmosphere because they had arranged people to come by your table to distract you from the fact that the food was so disappointing. Although, for some unexplained reason, Santa Claus skipped our table. I'm used to people not having enough time at a buffet for 2 hours, but now the room was more than half empty after an hour and a half. The food was constantly replenished, but that was all the staff had to do. At the end of a pleasant evening, a pile of plates on the side of the table and two happily playing children on the floor with other children who also quickly got tired of the unimaginative dinner. And to think that Slagharen called me in advance to ask if I would like to make a reservation for their luxurious Christmas buffet. I wish I had read the reviews first. The night before I prepared a more luxurious and tastier dinner for half the money within the limited options of what the holiday home offers us.

Little selection (no description of what's on the burgers), prices not sufficiently transparent (e.g. there are noodles but what they cost... a surprise) Service shines with disinterest....wanted to order, ignored after 5 minutes but then left and ate somewhere else. Ambience is good, looks like a diner with western music.

Very bad, mosquitoes everywhere on the food and all those tables were sticky and the food was not tasty either

Complaint dated 13-07-2022 We had dinner at the bigjake buffet last Saturday evening, which was a huge disappointment. We had already made an additional reservation when reserving the campsite, otherwise we would have already walked away. Around half past seven we wanted to have dinner, when we arrived nothing happened and no one came to us. There was a group of 7 people in front of us who eventually walked away. When a young man walked by after a few minutes, I asked what the purpose was, he didn't know because he was new and had no idea. We now saw someone standing at the cash register who had walked past us before. Finally we walked up to her and asked what she expected from us. After asking if we had made a reservation, we were given wristbands and that was it again, we had to figure it out ourselves. We sat down somewhere and walked with our two children to the buffet, where we immediately noticed that everything was empty or almost empty. There were crusts on the pasta sauce, the children's buffet was almost empty, see the photo I will send. We saw that fries/fries were being handed out at a counter and we walked over. Pretty soon a gentleman came to us and said it wasn't for us but for a football club or something like that. Then we walked to an employee at the grill and asked if there were any fries coming for the buffet and they were about to arrive. My eldest son, 9 years old, had just taken some meatballs with spaghetti and my youngest son, 5 years old, also had something like that. After waiting 10 minutes there was still nothing and we saw someone put some boiling water in the spaghetti and add some lettuce from a bag. In the meantime I had grabbed a fish, but in protest I put it down on a plate in the buffet and sat down a bit irritated. After counting to ten a few times I approached someone (which I would normally never do) the lady who I thought was a manager I went to make my complaint to make a long story short she was busy with a large group of 30 people. During the conversation I got the feeling that I shouldn't complain and the fries arrived shortly. My wife and I are not one for complaining and whining, but this was a total disappointment, especially because we had a completely different experience a few years earlier. Nice photo with Randy and Rosie and the staff so sweet and friendly to my children. The worst thing I thought was that after I complained, that lady acted very strangely. I was waiting quietly at the grill when that lady came by and shouted I'LL COME SOON SIR 🤮 and then someone else walked up. It really didn't feel okay. The atmosphere was completely gone, my children noticed that it was not okay, my eldest still tried agg porridge, we still ate something. We had something to eat but that was it and we left feeling angry/irritated/disappointed. The next day my wife went to guest service with her complaint and she felt that we were being listened to. The employee said that she could not do anything for us, but that we had to send an email because this was not the intention.

The open buffet on New Year's Eve was disastrous. 42.50 for adults, book in advance and kids around 15 euros, excluding drinks we found out, you also got a mini glass, half full of coke for example for 2 euros. There was very little choice and staff were very slow. I was mainly looking for a win that evening... it seemed nice that Rosie & Randy came by a few times to cuddle with the kids and take pictures, because that empty mini kitchen cupboard that 5 kids tried to crawl into made no sense... then move on at least some A4 sheets with pencils down so they can draw at the table..

Totally positive surprise. A grill restaurant where you can watch your food being prepared, in an amusement park. The burger patties were fresh, the chicken skewers were previously frozen. It tasted good. The waiting time was okay, but there was nothing going on, we were there between lunch and evening, which could lead to very long waiting times if there was a rush.

Choice is very very limited. Everything is pre-baked stuff that is heated up on the grill. I wonder if there is even a cook at the park

Worst "buffet", if you can call it that, ever. Dinner is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. We were there at 5:30 p.m. Have booked in advance. The buffet was almost empty and almost nothing was refilled. The desserts in particular looked very bad. Answer to question: "If everything was given out at lunchtime, there's nothing left." Didn't understand the meaning of buffet. Earlier I saw employees securing muffins. And €22 per person... I wouldn't book again. Very unfortunate.

I was there on Friday Staff does not speak Dutch. Find it very pricey for what you get Almost 16 euros for a hamburger sandwich with fries and a small salad and not even a drink

It was horrible half food poisoning and the bread was dry if you don't want to run to the toilet don't eat here!!!

Für den Preis etwas besseres erwartet. Viel zu teuer für das was es da zur Auswahl gibt. Für den Preis muss man selbst abdecken, teures Kantinenflair. Getränke bis auf Saft müssen bezahlt werden. Positiv ist es gibt ein Kinderbuffet was den Kindern schmeckt Slushy und Eis gibt es ebenfalls. Wir waren Anfang Oktober da, und waren die einzigen Gäste. Es war tyrisch Kalt nach 1 1/2 Stunden sind wir gegangen da es uns viel zu kalt war. Muss man nicht machen.

Wij hebben hier 2x gegeten. (Tijdens corona, dus geen all you can eat, maar gewoon een friet menu). Kwaliteit was goed, ook de sparerib was goed. Prijs kwaliteit is top!

Je betaalt €28 voor lauw, smaakloos eten. Frisdrank zit bij de prijs in, maar er is geen fris zonder prik. Alleen water en ranja. Voor bier/wijn moet je bij betalen. Rosie kwam tijdens het eten langs, dit vonden de kinderen wel erg leuk.

Eten was over het algemeen vrij koud, kip erg droog en weinig keuze wat betreft het drinken.

Er stond dat het vanaf 16.00 open was maar toen we rond half 6 kwamen waren ze nog niet eens open en alles moest nog klaar gezet worden

Für jeden ist etwas dabei. Grosse Auswahl und frische Salate. Auf die Sauberkeit um dem Tisch Rum sollte geachtet werden. Etwas Teuer, nichts für jeden Abend mit Kindern.

Toppie, prima eten voor een prima prijs, bij je verblijf meeboeken zorgt voor lekker ontspannen eerste dagje. Toiletten worden de hele dag door gasten gebruikt, daar hebben ze het moeilijk mee, maar er is gelegenheid genoeg iig

Het eten is niet heel bijzonder. En de prijs is voor wat je krijgt wel aan de hoge kant.

Slecht moest naar bestek vragen waren verschillende dingen op ,je kon niet bij het ijs komen en er waren nog enkele dingen niet goed voor wat er te krijgen was vonden we je te duur zijn met negen man geweest.

Gute Auswahl, für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Kinder haben eigenes Buffet. Leider sehr teuer....

Het ging wel. Eten en drinken is maar voor 2 uur . Qua prijs en verhouding van eten erg duur . Eten heeft verder wel redelijk gesmaakt. Waren wat productrn tussen waar geen smaak aan zat. En op een gegeven moment een steek gekregen die nog niet gaar was.

Nicht viel Auswahl und auch keine großen Portionen, jedoch ist es lecker und mit netter Western Umgebung. Passt ganz gut in den Park.

Lekker eten, maar principe van all-you-can-eat snappen ze niet helemaal. Je kunt je inderdaad vol eten, maar halverwege is het vlees op en wordt er niet meer bij gebakken.
