The fries with hard-earned money were nice and hot and very tasty. The frikandel speciaal was generously topped with all the ingredients it should have. In short, we had a delicious meal and it is worth repeating.

People, DO NOT eat here. To start with, the interior looked grubby and old. Card payments are not an option here; it is cash or bank transfer only. Our food arrived at our table almost before we did, and that was certainly not a positive thing. Firstly, the fries were limp and glassy, ​​as if they hadn't been fried long enough. Or as if the frying oil was old. Secondly, the snacks were also very disappointing. My croquette was even cold on the inside. Only the drinks were good, but they came from a can, so there's not much you can mess up there. Otherwise, the staff wasn't unfriendly or anything.

Soft serve ice cream has an aftertaste. Not a clean establishment/service. Not recommended. Now, a standard response from the owner appears for bad reviews, asking you to call/email, even though emailing isn't possible. I think it is quite clear why I and other customers were dissatisfied; the reviews are clear enough in that regard. No idea where the positive reviews come from, but the soft serve ice creams were truly inedible (the aftertaste is due to poor hygiene/not keeping the ice cream machine clean) and the place was also very dirty/unclean. Really filthy. So clean/clean/clean and work cleanly!

We were looking for a quick bite to eat; the terrace was still empty, and a family was standing in front of us. We had barely sat down after placing our order when it arrived—it was for the other family, and we thought it was very quick too. But that went wrong right from the start. Our order arrived shortly after. The fries were glassy, ​​limp, and soggy, the frikadel tasted rotten, we left most of it and walked away. I was in the mood for an ice cream but didn't treat them to it. It was expensive too; McDonald's, which isn't that cheap anymore either, is even cheaper and you get more for the same money. The toilet was broken as well. One word: terrible, simply terrible. I've never experienced anything like this before. The only positive thing was the woman; she was friendly.

We were on vacation and were craving some Limburg fries. What a disaster! A container full of small leftovers that still had a bit of length was soft and soggy. Too much salt. The snacks were decent, but not much left. And yes, not being able to pay by card is still a thing in 2026! We'll definitely never come back.

Well, I've known Saida since about 2008. I love going there. She has fresh fries that she peels herself. It's a really good place, with an owner who cares about her business and her customers. I'm still amazed that she can offer couples menus and other specials. You won't see these kinds of offers anywhere else. She has a great location in the heart of Simpelveld, where you can enjoy a lovely terrace with a meal, a drink, or even a delicious ice cream. And inside, there's a spacious table and chairs. The restroom is always clean when there's a staff, and they're always friendly. But the most important thing is Saida, who has been doing this with full dedication every day for years. Great chip shop with delicious dishes. I had the goulash menu, which included fries, a salad, and a full container of delicious goulash. Upon entering, I was greeted very warmly by the owner. She immediately wanted to help me, but when I said I wanted to see what I was getting, she said, "Just take your time." While I was eating, she even came over to ask if everything was alright. A very nice chip shop with a lovely owner.

We have a few snacks here, a snack/quick bite. The woman behind the counter is very nice. The snacks tasted good but not as we are used to. The toilets did not look or smell fresh. The outside terrace is large. You can only pay in cash or by bank transfer, bank number is at the cash register, not smart!!

Food is always delicious. Service is top notch and always very friendly. Friture is always very neat and the atmosphere is homely. Really cozy. Definitely recommended and for us, our regular fries place😊

At first glance it looks nice, but once inside it turned out not to be the best chip shop I know. I ordered 2 snacks, one with a little bit of peanut sauce. The lady in question heard that from where because the snack was floating in the peanut sauce. The other snack had been in the fat for so long that I had difficulty getting my fork into it... The next bite was even more disappointing... what was supposed to be a creamy bratwurst became a very hard mess that could not be removed. On top of all this misery, it turns out that you cannot pay by card at this chip shop and the nearest ATM is about 600 meters away. This visit did not make me very happy.

We were on holiday in South Limburg and wanted some fries, but unfortunately this was a disappointment. Fat limp fries. The snacks were also disappointing. Peanut sauce, but also the other sauces were just not tasty. Had a few bites of everything, the rest went straight into the garbage bin. We also thought it was strange that it wasn't busy around dinner time. But now we know why. Spent 32 euros for downright dirty fries and snacks. It's a shame, the place doesn't look neat either, it's greasy and dirty.
