Old shoarma, it smells bad and tastes even worse....

I've had delicious schnitzel here for years, but today, September 17, 2025, it was inedible. I couldn't even cut it with a knife, it was so tough. I returned it and got a new one (!), and the same thing happened again. I got up, said something about it, and will never come back. The schnitzel looked like a shoe sole.

We waited an hour and a half, then called to ask where our order was; the employee on the phone said it was on its way. We waited another 20 minutes. We called again. After some back and forth, they said, "We just packed it up." We'll probably go out for dinner after we get our money back.

Food was supposed to be delivered, but after an hour of trying to call, they were constantly on hold for half an hour. Went to the office, but it was supposed to be so busy. They even had to start after an hour and a half! It's ridiculous. Definitely not recommended.

I think someone else has taken over. The food is truly awful... the fries are overcooked, way too much salt, the satay croquettes are almost black, and everything is deep-fried for far too long. It's a shame, because I order regularly.

I ordered three different vegan snacks they offer online. Frikandel: out of stock. Spring roll: out of stock. Chicken nuggets: cut into pieces of schnitzel 🤔 Delivery: much later than indicated. I contacted them myself and got three different employees on the line, with a lot of excuses. Then they said they were very busy, which is possible, but if you only give the delivery time, you're making a real error in judgment, and the customer suffers. Then I'm told that two of the three snacks I ordered are out of stock. And the third is completely different from what was advertised! I was offered a free drink. But what if I hadn't contacted them myself? The previous time, the vegan snacks were also out of stock, and what do they do? They just deliver a bunch of cheese soufflés. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered again, but that turned out badly again! What a disappointment. the only thing that was good were the cans of coke that we got for free, but it's hard to mess up that.

I ordered delicious food, and it was delivered fairly quickly. They forgot one thing, so I called and it was delivered within 10 minutes. The food was delicious and still super hot. Thanks a lot, and we'll definitely see you soon. Gerty

After waiting an hour and a half, I called and they weren't ready yet. When the food arrived, the order wasn't complete. When they returned with the rest of the order, it was still incomplete.

Worthless place!! Food is fine, but then you have to be able to wait 2.5 hours for it! Oh yeah.. and hope that what you ordered is actually delivered. Calling is pointless, phone number unreachable and the delivery person is extremely rude!

Food eaten on the spot. Friendly employee, hard working because he was the only one present. Respect! Food tasted good and was very affordable.

Food was too late, and lukewarm... I called right away, but the phone was not answered... (not even after an hour) ... So last time "big star".. By the way, this was not the first time!! I have had this problem before, but apparently they are not reachable by phone ...

Had to wait almost 2 hours for food. Called after 1 hour and 20 minutes. Food was now being prepared. Rude on the phone. Then we had to wait more than half an hour for food. Fries way overcooked, tough and lukewarm, the bun was completely cut through so you could no longer fill buns. The only positive thing is that the delivery person, who had already received a tip in advance, apologized and said it was very busy. That is of course possible, but share it with the customers. stop orders or inform customers that it will take 2 hours. our food was delivered more than an hour later than the target time. Kudos to the delivery person who later brought a can of beer. The disadvantage for the owner is that this does not compensate for poor service. I won't order from here again. By the way, previous orders were okay.

Delivered quickly!! Delicious food

This is really ridiculous... order a mini shawarma dish without lettuce and a special shawarma with lettuce. It's not that difficult, is it? You get a shawarma special with fries without lettuce, and the other part is just the other way around. Went back…….will be sorted out….fine so far. Will they bring you what you actually ordered? The shawarma is almost cold,gggrrr. Back again, you'll hear, sorry, it's busy!! But I don't care about that!! For the third time they brought the food, and you guessed it?? The shawarma was SLIGHTLY warmer, but not much. Just put the signs on the counter, with the message that we won't be coming here anymore! Even an apology couldn't get rid of it! We don't need Bigstar anymore!!

kebab sandwich where the bread was simply rock hard and had burnt edges. Barely any meat in it (4 pieces of meat) and almost completely stuffed with lettuce. Quality has deteriorated considerably, which is a shame because this was always a good place to get kebabs. They have lost me as a customer.

Good food, which is actually unhealthy for me.

Took 1 hour for 2 fries. When I call them, they answer and hang up. Fries are cold and hard, and the sauces are wrong.

Clean. We had fries special. Were average. Freshly fried, but not typical Dutch fries special.

A croquette sandwich tastes (better) as the staff in the business would have a more customer-friendly appearance.

Very tasty food! Meat nice and tender. Really fresh. The delivery is also excellent, when it is very busy it logically takes a little longer.

Very long wait for order. And then see that the people who ordered well after us were served earlier. Was apparently resolved with 2 free cans of coke. But when we got home with the food, the fries were just fried 3 times. Hard, greasy dark brown and cold too. They won't see me there anymore!!!!!

Good pizza, good calzone, enough garlic sauce. Delivery a few minutes late, but we're not going to make a fuss about that. Nice meal!

Regarding Big Star comment: Called in the afternoon hours and Bay was initially unknown. Explained the situation on all fours, but it was not a pleasant conversation, politeness and respect were hard to find. We found out that Bay wasn't there and had to call back. But we'll leave it at that. 1st review: Always positive about the food, until the last order, where the flames were literally black. That can happen. Tried to get in touch about this twice, with no response from Big Star. We are not concerned about the €3.00, but understanding or let alone a response to this situation is appropriate. Photo added.

Delicious shawarma sandwiches, very friendly staff! Recommended.

Ordered and unfortunately not received. but in the end I received an app from them later that there was a problem and they had just received my order. But I got my money back neatly via tikkie. And I think this has been resolved nicely. You often hear so many other things. So thank you for this great thing that you still responded!

Het is eten is best lekker maar de wacht tijd is niet normaal lang

Big Star in huissen gaf me een matige ervaring. De service was slecht en er werd weinig aandacht aanbesteed aan de klant. Het personeel leek niet erg attent. Verbetering is nodig op het gebied van klantenservice.

Super goeie kipburgers! Zeker een aanrader! De eigenaar is ook zeker een topper van een man! Al met al top!

Voor de zoveelste keer op rij een niet kloppende bestelling geleverd gekregen. Dit keer ontbrak mijn broodje shoarma en extra pitabroodje... ik heb gebeld en het zou nageleverd worden. Redelijk vlot stond de bezorger alweer voor de deur. En ik pak het uit..... mis ik nog steeds mijn extra pitabroodje. Heb t maar gelaten voor wat het was. Maar het is de laatste tijd elke keer raak! Of het verkeerde krijgen, of dingen die ontbreken. Het is er in ieder geval niet op vooruitgegaan daar

Lekker vers, vriendelijk personeel en de eigenaar is top.

Eten altijd prima, maar het erg frustrerend dat Big Star áltijd te laat is. Ook wordt er regelmatig wat vergeten. Vandaag om 15:00 al besteld zodat het eten om 17:30 bezorgd zou worden. Na een half uur (18:00) wordt er gebeld dat ze het om 18:30 komen brengen. Belachelijk!

Eigenaar stond op het punt de winkel te sluiten, toch maakte hij een uitzondering en konden we nog heerlijk een frietje op het terras eten. De friet is super, niet slap, vet of ongezout maar heerlijk knapperig en vol smaak.

Snitsel was lekker zacht met een beet

Als vaste klant ( die accepteert dat ze altijd te laat zijn) gisteren heel onbeschoft behandeld aan de telefoon. Er ontbrak knoflooksaus bij de kapsalon ( had ook 3 bakjes extra besteld)ook de friet bij de mini Shoarma schotel was minimaal, dus ik bel op, wordt er drie keer gevraagd wat het probleem is. Twee keer rustig uitgelegd dat een kapsalon zonder knoflooksaus niet te eten is, vervolgens hoor ik twee personen met elkaar over mij praten en hoor zeggen: ze zegt dat ze het niet heeft gekregen..toen zei ik kwaad laat maar zitten allemaal en heb opgehangen. Helemaal klaar mee. Personeel gaat in discussie en weigert mee te werken aan een oplossing. Je wordt als leugenaar neergezet. Kwaliteit eten is wel altijd goed.

Ik en mijn zoon hebben een snack gehaald, op nieuwjaarsdag ze waren gewoon open . Goede service lekkere snacks.

Gisteren hebben wij eerste keer bij de Big Star gegeten . Wij waren aangenaam verrast. Hele sympathieke personeel die ondanks de grote drukte , bediende ons snel , De porties waren erg groot en wat belangrijkst heel lekker .

Heerlijk Calzone gegeten. Vriendelijke medewerkers en een nette verzorgde gelegenheid. En terwijl het druk was met de bestellingen toch niet overdreven lang hoeven wachten. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

Ik heb al een aantal keer verschillende dingen besteld, maar het eten kan beter... Bij de kinderbox stond er dat je een toetje erbij kreeg maar dat bleek alleen een klein speeltje te zijn met aparte snoepjes, voor de rest ook geen keuze voor saus bij de frietjes en snacks. Bezorging was wel snel en ruime openingstijden wat fijn is.

Heb hier aantal keer bestel en steeds blijven ze me verassen! Gebeld op 21.01 en 9 minuten later stonden ze voor me deur!! Heerlijke eten, top personeel en een uitstekende service!! PS: De pizza’s en kapsalon zijn echte aanraders!

Meestal te laat, eten is over het algemeen goed alleen zat er deze keer hele plakken ham in de kapsalon en wat echt goor was er zat een haar in het eten

Verukkelijk gegeten bij de Big Star. De sfeer en het personeel zijn top!

Goed eten, komen hun bezorgtijden na, en niet te vergeten... een heerlijk flesje wijn gekregen bij de bestelling na het benoemen dat iemand jarig is!
