Last Saturday, I stopped by with a friend for a simple and quick lunch. I ordered a toasted sandwich with cheese, tomato, and onion. But I got a different one, one with salami in it, which I don't eat. It can happen that they make a mistake. No problem. But they didn't even offer an apology. I usually do that immediately if I make a "mistake." I got a new toasted sandwich. When paying, I asked if the right sandwich had been rung up. Very bluntly, the lady said that they both cost the same. That is not true; the one with salami is €0.30 more expensive. Which is logical. I don't make a fuss about that either. I can easily afford it. In short, very unfriendly staff and an unpleasant atmosphere. Maybe they were having an off day. But don't take it out on me. This place was the first and last time for me.

Unfortunately, large groups do not seem to be welcome. The treatment by the serving staff is downright rude. We were told in a very unfriendly manner that we were not allowed to move tables and chairs, and that this was shouted across the terrace.

Laughed really hard and had a delicious meal and the shredded chicken was delicious and thanks again for the duct tape!🤣🤣🤣

We have been coming here for years, beautiful location in the sun with a view of De Hof. Delicious tapas platters, tasty sandwiches, nice outdoor seating with large parasols and heaters. Cosy interior. And most importantly; great service, always up for a laugh, friendly, fast and relaxed atmosphere. In short; highly recommended!

Worthless beautiful location that is true but staff is worthless you do not serve this it is just dumped on owner does not come up with a solution and then ask well over 10 euros for this presentation of your food is disgusting 🤮 that is not how you treat food you should be ashamed of yourself! Mister owner that you dare to allow this I will not spend my money with you anymore you can better hire some better staff or hand over the business to someone who knows how it should be done! Shame on you!

The atmosphere here is fantastic, friendly service and good prices.

It's a very good place to watch football. It is very crowded. So be on time. The beers, coffee and other drinks are average price. The atmosphere is very good. You can go there on Saturdays. It's not very big. But very pleasant. It is for young and old. And everyone is welcome there.

Had lunch here for the first time and it was one of the best experiences I've had. You will be warmly welcomed by a host or hostess and taken to a beautiful spot in this beautiful new restaurant. My wife has to eat gluten free and had lots of choice. I had a burger and it was really great, but it's all about the detail. Everything was delicious, but fries in a preheated container and the rest of the presentation was also great. Lovely place to eat and service that really knows what service is. Knowledge of the business and especially of gluten-free food. We don't live nearby, but we will definitely come back.

I was there with a buddy of mine for a few hours, it was super fun. The atmosphere/the music. Until I had a chat with someone and he suddenly started talking about drugs and I made a joke about it and then I was sent out for no reason, I still don't understand it, the whole evening we went home was gone.

Went to Bij Janssen for the first time on Saturday. Super nice Cafe. Very friendly bar staff. Very friendly too. And of course Henk Schulz was absolutely fantastic.

Most wonderful place to have a drink and a small bite. Tip: have a delicious meatball with a toasted bun with satay sauce. Super tasty made by chef Nick. Host Patrick is always up for a joke.

Simply the best terrace on the most beautiful square in Amersfoort: the Hof with its characteristic buildings. As a real enthusiast, I can't get enough of these and other beautiful buildings in Amersfoort. Bij Janssen always offers smooth and friendly service, and the terrace offers a view of Amersfoort's pride: Onze Lieve Vrouwetoren!

Always a super nice place! Very cosy. Delicious food and drinks for a fantastic price. In winter you can sit under the heaters with a glass of mulled wine and you will even be offered a blanket. Great tent!!

Prima plek op het plein om een topper te zijn. Zo jammer dat dat niet waargemaakt wordt. Een tosti maken, die een uur duurt en geen hoogvlieger is. Duurt wel wat langer vertelde men vooraf netjes. Maar gewoon vergeten, want om ons heen waren de mensen die later kwamen, allang voorzien en soms al weer weg ook. Snel toch nog even maken na een aantal reclamaties. Een gratis drankje is prima maar eerlijkheid was beter geweest. Vergeten is tenslotte menselijk. Jammer want sneller, beter en iets meer aandacht voor de klant zou echt een betere ervaring en review opleveren. Succes met jullie mooie plek en doe er meer mee dan jullie nu doen!

Leuk terras met lekker plankje deluxe. Bediening laat alleen wat lang op zich wachten.

Mijn broodje was niet zo super. Ik had het broodje Janssen (met roomkaas en salami) deze combinatie is lekker, echter het broodje waar het opzat was wel van slechte kwaliteit. Je weet wel zo’n saai supermarkt broodje. Vindt het geen broodje voor in een restaurant, ik denk dat ik de broodjes van de Hema luxer vindt. Cappuccino was niet heel warm en wat flauw van smaak.

Geen onaardige plek om te zitten maar sfeervol was het niet. Ik had een cappuccino die uit een slechte machine kwam, smakeloos en ook lauwwarm. De mensen zijn vriendelijk. Het was geen foto waard.

Super vriendelijk personeel, lekker ruim terras! Heerlijke plek om de dag te beginnen met koffie en taart!

BESTEL HIER GEEN TOSTI! De tosti’s zijn gewoon kant en klare diepvries tosti’s die worden opgewarmd. Toen er op de ene helft van mijn tosti wel vlees zat en op de andere helft niet, werd hier erg moeilijk over gedaan door het personeel. Maar uiteindelijk toch een nieuwe tosti gekregen. De locatie is wel mooi, maar voor de service of de tosti’s moet je hier niet naartoe.

Ik heb hier niets gegeten,dus daar kan ik niet over oordelen.

Zeer vriendelijke dame achter de bar, €2,75 betaald per kopje zwarte koffie, niet goedkoop, maar geen gekke prijs. De tafel was wat wankel maar verder helemaal in orde.

Héél leuk Cafe, service is top! Kwamen met 10 vrouwen van de Sophie's Facebook groep, zat al redelijk vol! Maar de medewerker vond het helemaal gezellig en was ontzettend creatief in het creëren van plaatsen. Complimenten èn we komen zeker nog eens langs voor het Sophie koffie/thee leuten uurtje 🙂

Mooie locatie en een gezellig terras. Vriendelijk personeel. Ga gerust eens langs voor een bakje koffie of een lunch. Of gewoon gezellig een drankje doen.

Amazing place at the heart of Amersfoort

Heerlijk buiten in de zon koffie met gedronken.Prachtig plein is De Hof.

Wat een zonnig terras. Ik ken de blauwe engel eigenlijk alleen maar van uit gaan, maar je kunt er ook prima borrelen. Tot laat heb je zon op het terras. De bediening was snel en vriendelijk. Qua sfeer zo ik niet echt gelijk kiezen voor dit terras, maar je zit er prima. Uitzicht op het mooie plein van Amersfoort.

Een meer dan prettig soort van bruin café waar jong en oud elkaar ontmoeten. En de service en bediening meer dan goed.

Een heerlijke zit gehad, personeel is vriendelijk en gezellig. Kom hier zeker weer👍👍👍👍👍👍
