Bij POM in Wijk 00 IJsselstein

I found the service very poor. Order (small menu card so no real choice anyway) taken by a child and then completely forgotten that there were people waiting for their food. No food served. And at 2 pm all the oranges were gone so no orange juice either. Only coffee and lemonade received reasonably on time. Staff also has a big mouth. We left without eating. Well good luck!!

Tasty sandwiches! When the weather is sunny, it's nice to sit on the terrace. If the weather is colder or worse, you can sit comfortably in one of the attractively created corners within the building. Service is friendly and the food is always top notch. Good place for a nice lunch.

Not a nice place to visit. Seated in the restaurant for fifteen minutes. At a table that was not cleared. Staff does not notice customers. Very stuffy atmosphere and I did not feel welcome.

We sat in the sun this afternoon and enjoyed the French toast. Never been here before, but will definitely come back!

Please don't allow smoking on the terrace as there are only a few seats and people who don't smoke can't enjoy the terrace if one person smokes next to them.

Found this espresso bar by chance. Try an espresso. Sorry I didn't add any water to free up my taste buds. But the espresso was very good. It made me happy. Can be served warmer and the water. A Brazilian single. Unfortunately the service lady was unable to provide an explanation. Apple pie is also recommended. Almost 5 stars....

Nice coffee outdoor seating and service was very efficient

Such a nice and cozy café in such a small town! We loved the living-room-like athmosphere in the shop and the chill vibe of the guests and the employees! Our breakfast was amazing and the coffee was good :)

We drink coffee here every other week and are warmly greeted by the very friendly staff. Also had lunch once and that was also super delicious. The atmosphere is very homely.

Poseur-ish coffee bar that thinks it's in London or New York and only likes beautiful, gym-tastic types. Foreign visitors are not made to feel welcome. It's a pity as the service staff will have travelled/will eventually travel to Asia and claim to love Bali/Bangkok/Tokyo.

The start of a city walk should be with a good cappuccino. Unfortunately it was still a bit drizzly outside, but there was a great atmosphere inside. A good start that turned out to be a great day.

Nice hip place, with really fresh food. The only thing that wasn't fresh was the whipped cream. Delicious cakes. Sandwiches are quite expensive, but the taste is great.

Sandwiches were tasty but very expensive: price/quality is not in proportion. The acoustics of the room are very poor, as if you were sitting in a sound box. So the atmosphere is fine, but we found it very noisy. Service otherwise excellent.

Cosy, modern place for a drink and/or snack. We had a delicious lunch with a tuna melt and a salmon variant and ginger tea. Recommended!

Nice atmosphere, the coffee bar is not crammed with tables, so it is not too busy and very relaxed. The food is particularly good (applause for the chefs). Coffee is fine, but drinks could be a little better. So sometimes you get a strange little crumbled piece of cake with your coffee and there is no honey with ginger tea. So a few small points for improvement, but above all a wonderful place!

This place is the perfect location to sit down and enjoy some drinks and lunch. The location is excellent. It is located in the city centre but not in a street that is too busy. It finds the perfect balance between being public and private. This makes the place suitable for small meetings (say 2-6 people) and dates. The drinks and food are very well prepared. There is plenty of choice and it is served fresh. Apparently a lot of the ingredients are fresh and local. Food and drinks that are supposed to be served warm are served warm, but not too hot. You can also get food as takeaway which is a nice bonus. The service is outstanding. The staff is quick and polite. They occasionally ask if everything is in order and if you would like anything else. The prices are reasonable. You get plenty of food or drink for the price and it is comparable with some other lunchrooms in the area. If you happen to be in the area you try this place, you'll not regret it

Beperkte kaart, maar wel heerlijk gesmuld van een warme en dikke plak bruin brood, royaal belegd met tonijnsalade en aanverwant groenvoer. Niet goedkoop (€ 12) en bijna 5euro voor een verse jus d'orange, maar toch een aanrader

We hadden niet het gevoel echt welkom te zijn. Er werd geen goedemiddag gewenst maar enkel gevraagd: wat willen jullie hebben. Koffie was volgens mijn man aardig, en over thee kan je nooit klagen gelukkig. Echter gaan wij terug naar onze eigen tentje paar deuren verder voortaan.

Zag er in eerste instantie super leuk uit, leuke sfeer ook. Leuke zitjes en hoekjes om te zitten. Helaas geen glutenvrij eet aanbod waardoor voor mij de ervaring al minder wordt.. Wij zaten helaas net onder de luidsprekers met muziek waardoor wij bijna elkaar op normaal restaurant praat niveau niet konden verstaan..

Je moet ervan houden , koffie en gebak waren ok maar ik vond de sfeer wat kalig

Wat een heerlijke plek! Goede, smaakvolle koffie en verrukkelijk eten (zowel het gebak als de broodjes). De bediening is kalm en vriendelijk, de sfeer is ontspannen en de akoestiek fijn dankzij panelen. En, niet onbelangrijk: verrassend betaalbaar. Alles ziet er prachtig uit als het wordt opgediend, en het smaakt net zo goed als dat het eruitziet. Wanneer ik in de buurt ben, kom ik maar al te graag langs om mezelf te trakteren terwijl ik op m’n laptop werk. Je kunt er ook dingen to go afhalen.

Het galmt er nogal en dan met vrolijk spelende kinderen is het lastig om elkaar te verstaan (op mijn leeftijd dan)

We hebben daar voor het eerst gegeten met de lunch. Broodje was op zich wel lekker maar vond hem erg duur voor wat je ervoor krijgt. Duurde erg lang allemaal voor je je bestelling kreeg. De sfeer vind ik niet zo fijn. Mag wat meer sfeer in komen. Personeel is erg vriendelijk.

Bijna elke week werk ik een paar uur vanuit POM. Ze vragen niet eens meer wat ik wil en komen met een haver cappuccino aan 😃 Vaak gezellig druk en soms rustig. Ik kom er graag!

Gaan zitten, bediening maakte net de tafel schoon en groette ons. 15 min gezeten en niet bediend, toen maar weggelopen. Zou veel potentie kunnen hebben.

Glad to have such a cafe here in the Nieuwegein/Ijsselstein area. Delicious sandwiches and proper barista coffee!

Such a great space! Friendly staff, incredible coffee and honestly the best toast I’ve had yet! Also- make sure to order something with their pesto. I think it’s the freshest and most delicious pesto I’ve ever had in a restaurant.
