A great venue for corporate events. Plenty of space in the hall behind the restaurant, a flexible menu, and excellent service.

After being a fan of predecessor Bij Robbert we now tried the new concept "Brass118". It was at Pentecost and they had a special sharing menu. Maybe our expectations were too high, but it turned out to be a disappointment for us. Such a shame! The menu was really too much (and we don't say that quickly!). In addition, the dishes were ok, but they certainly didn't have the wow factor. They look beautiful, but some really taste a bit flat. We are not used to that from Robbert. But then again, maybe our expectations were too high. It is also difficult if you go from an almost Michelin star restaurant back to a Brasserie-like restaurant. The staff was very young and inexperienced, we really missed a bit of professionalism. We left the restaurant with a rather unsatisfied feeling. Not for us for the time being, longing for "Bij Robbert"......

Food was very good, you should not compare it with "at Robbert" There, in addition to the delicious food, the contact with the guest was central, now we had the feeling that it was secondary. While it was not busy, polite, but nothing more. Very unfortunate

Really enjoyed our lunch here today. The delicious dishes were beautifully presented and service was superb. The egg and caviar dish was a delicious surprise. Definitely a restaurant we will visit again

Yesterday, March 21, I ate at the renewed concept of the past "bij Robbert" now under the name "Brass 118." Delicious food, the dishes were really beautiful and the taste was great.

We had the Culinary Journey menu, 5 courses. First, third and fourth courses were delicious (salmon, scallop and Beef Wellington respectively). We found the dessert less successful (particularly the pumpkin and the apple pie). Dishes were nicely prepared, perhaps too many details at times. The chef often uses crisps. Bread with four types of butter was very tasty. Very pleasant service. Price/quality is definitely good.

Nice location and friendly staff. A relatively old audience on Wednesday evening. Food was beautifully prepared and tasty. The oysters and dessert were the best in my opinion. Got to know this restaurant through the restaurant weeks. Located in the center of Bodegraven.

Very cozy restaurant with beautiful dishes, small works of art in themselves! Beautiful ingredients and combinations. A glass of Vuurzee is recommended.

Haute-cuisine lunch enjoyed with friends in a beautiful place in this town. Nicely pampered by the chef and host/hostess. The latter both clearly enjoy their work. Most important: menu variety and price/quality exceptional. Also with the extra ordered between dishes. Chef understands the art of creating sauce that is finger-licking good. Wine list excellent and something for everyone. I would welcome a slightly more exotic wine list, but that is personal. Prices for a bottle of water are also extremely customer-friendly. The same applies to coffee and garnish (!). Place is absolutely atmospheric. A few finishing touches regarding furnishing/interior to really make it 'finish'. A beautiful floor can do wonders here. I would also welcome tables that are a little more playful. Town also very nice for a walk after dinner. All in all an excellent afternoon!

Delicious food. The extra course with scallop stood out.

We opted for the 4-course dinner during restaurant week. You could expand this dinner even further with courses. This dinner also included an aperitif and amuse-bouche. The reception was already great. Very pleasant and knowledgeable service. Nice intimate ambiance where you can enjoy refined dishes in peace and quiet. Flavors that alternate and have fruit notes as a base. Example the vegetable dish with a mango undertone or the king fish with an apple undertone. Tastes surprising, just like the appetizers such as olives with chocolate accent. The flavor explosion in the mouth was a unique experience. The pinot noir also paired perfectly with the main course, the veal tenderloin, which was wonderfully tender. The price quality is more than good. Portions seem small but are very filling and we returned home full. We will definitely come back! We will reward the service extra next time.

Ate here yesterday. Has been on the list for quite some time. Star worthy is not an exaggeration. The atmosphere is appropriate with a touch of appropriate informality. Opted for the 6 course menu with matching wines. All dishes tasted excellent and although some combinations were very surprising, they only enhanced each other in terms of taste. Enjoy 6 courses! Granted, you shouldn't go here for a quick bite and you're not ready to spend 75 euros per person either. The bill was hefty but very justified. It's about the total experience, from arrival to departure everything is in excellent order. You don't come here for a meal but for a dining experience!

Wederom hier gedineerd, we hadden een 5 gangen diner en dat was meer dan uitstekend, heerlijke smaken en alles bijzonder mooi geserveerd. Uitstekende bediening, leuke entourage. Een perfecte avond. Wij komen terug.

Delicious food, star-worthy as they say, but who cares about that? Limited menu, meat/fish or vegetables, but not perceived as a loss. Nice wine pairing with good explanation. The interior could use a little update, but we come to eat. Returned home very satisfied

Delicious food, a gem in Bodegraven

Al jarenlang bezoeken wij een paar keer per jaar een sterrestaurant. En hoewel Bij Robbert volgens mij geen ster heeft vonden wij het eten smakelijker dan bij de concurrent en zijn min of meer blijven hangen. Wanneer er weer een nieuw menu is willen we het uitproberen. Als je vaker komt herken je de broodjes en boterbollen plankje wel maar iedere keer is het weer leuk om bonbons te kiezen bij de koffie. Wij drinken geen alcohol maar de alternatieven smaken prima. Zit wel geregeld een gestempel/geprint 'gaaswerkje' op de gerechtjes en die zijn niet altijd even smakelijk

Met familie een heerlijke avond gehad in dit fantastische restaurant in Bodegraven. We hebben genoten van het aangeboden verrassingsdiner met wijn arrangement. Ieder bordje zag er prachtig uit en was bijzonder smakelijk. Dank aan Robbert en zijn team voor deze heerlijke avond, het was weer een beleving. We komen weer graag terug.

We had made a reservation for the 5 course Lobster menu and it was all excellent, food, atmosphere and service. Delicious surprising dishes, prepared by chef Robbert. An explanation for each course by the efficiency operator. Had a great evening.

Het amuse diner sprak ons op papier aan de presentatie was perfect maar alle smaken zeer vlak en absoluut niet verrassend zeker gezien de hoge prijs viel dit bijzonder tegen echt geen aanrader deze nieuwe opzet!

Came to this location through a staff dinner. Top! 6 course menu prepared by top chef. Good service, efficient and with each course an explanation of what we were eating. Recommended.

Wij hebben afgelopen kerstavond enorm genoten van het kerstdiner! Echt alle lof voor de heerlijke gerechten en de prachtig opgemaakte borden. Het was een avondvullend programma waar we met héél veel plezier op terugkijken.

Great place, excellent food and a very nice staff. We were here again and really enjoyed our 5 course meal. This place is getting better and better.

The 5 courses were all top, refined, beautiful and with a great taste experience. The service was very hospitable and Robert himself came to meet each table as host. The atmosphere was very relaxed. Would love to come back.

Altijd geweldig hier eten, een hele ervaring! Met het all-in menu wordt je naast de ‘normale’ gerechten ook nog verrast met allerlei extra amuses, pre desserts etc. De sfeer is heel knus, goede service en het eten (en het brood met speciale boter) echt geweldig. Wij komen graag weer terug!

Hier proef je de passie van de kok in het eten. De lunch was geweldig! Sfeer en bediening waren goed. We komen hier zeker weten snel weer terug :)

Een gezellig restaurant waar je heerlijk kunt eten. Wij namen het 5-gangen verrassingsmenu en hebben bij elk gerecht genoten van de samenstelling van allerlei smaken en bijpassende wijnen. Het personeel in de bediening lijkt nog wat onervaren maar doen hun best om je een gezellige avond te bezorgen. Zeker de moeite waard om hier eens lekker te gaan eten!

Echt een eetfeestje dat de hele avond duurt met heerlijke gerechtjes, een gastvrije ontvangst en bediening. Zonder meer een aanrader en we willen zeker nog eens terugkomen.

Genoten van een avond met heerlijk eten en mooie wijnen. De gerechten zijn stuk voor stuk pareltjes met als hoogtepunt het gerecht met avocado. Complimenten aan Robbert en zijn team. Dit is echt een aanrader!

Het was weer fantastisch! Heerlijk gegeten, mooie bijpassende wijnen. Ontzettend vriendelijk personeel.

Van de bistro kaart gegeten. Op het laatste moment konden wij met een grote groep terecht. Fijn dat ze zo flexibel waren! De gerechten waren goed, zeker voor deze prijs.

Prijs kwaliteit van het eten is wel prima, al vond ik de carpaccio wel erg minimaal. We hebben van de bistro kaart gegeten. Wij werden in een achterkamer geplaatst, wat ik erg ongezellig en sfeerloze ruimte vond. Heel anders is dit voorin het restaurant. Verder leek bij de hoofdgerechten bij de beschrijving of er ander garnituur zou zitten, echter iedereen kreeg hetzelfde. Bediening wel vriendelijk.

W tej restauracji świętowaliśmy dzisiaj 40 urodziny mojej żony więc zależało mi żeby ten wieczór był prawdziwą ucztą. Na szczęście Bij Robbert okazało się właściwym wyborem. Z zewnątrz niepozorna restauracja w centrum Bodegraven. Przyjemny, dość minimalistyczny wystrój i przyjemna i profesjonalna obsługa. Najważniejsze jednak jest jedzenie. Zamówiliśmy 7 dań w wersji all in. Wszystkie dania były co najmniej bardzo dobre a większość była po prostu pyszna.w dodatku każde danie to małe dzieło sztuki jeśli chodzi o formę i wykonanie. No i oczywiście smak. Do tego starannie dobrane wina i przekąski. 4 godziny upłynęły nam bardzo szybko i bardzo smacznie. Polecam serdecznie! Zasłużone 5 gwiazdek.

High end atmosphere and culinary food of a caliber you wouldn't expect in a small town. Special shout out to the service/staff who were in training but provided an impeccable experience. A bit on the pricey side but worth it.

Alles klopte bij Bij Robbert.. Smaakbeleving en gastvrijheid was enorm. Culinair feestje. Well done
