Food order was not tasty and cold fries were not tasty either

We were the only ones inside, not bad of course, but it was really atmospheric and strange on a weekend evening. The lights were off for half the restaurant, no music. Some of what we wanted to order was gone. If we wanted to deviate something from the menu, such as changing the portion or from the starter to the main course, it was difficult. Nacho with cheese was a slab of cheddar spooned onto chips and heated. Cheeseburger sandwich was nasty. It was 2 tasteless frozen burgers with a dry bun, nastier sauce and no cheese. Spare ribs were nothing to write home about either. The food came quickly, which was very nice with small kids. The waiter said that it is always quiet and there is little business, which I understand after this experience. No, never again for us.

Ball tent with capital B. No drinks in stock. Orange juice over the date. Don't drink beer. After 1.5 hours we only had a starter. We were told it was busy. There were only 4 tables occupied. And the adjacent snack bar had no customers. If you can't handle 4 tables, I don't want to know what will happen when the place is full. The citizens are also not to be messed with. Once but never again! By the way, they have yahtzee and mikado on the tables. This is necessary to kill time until your food finally arrives.

So bad that it almost became an attraction. Literally every dish had something wrong with it. Someone else in the shop shouted around that it was taking a very long time, which meant they got their food earlier and our food had failed. We got our food. At least half, because in between he had time to take someone else's order. And at the end he still had the courage to ask if everything had been tasty. While we literally complained about every dish.

We have already experienced quite a bit in restaurants, even fries flying around our ears, but this was really the pinnacle. We chose this refined snack bar because they have the cordon blue on the menu. This is currently a favorite of our son's, so the choice was easy. While making the choices we heard that the cordon blues were out of stock. Too bad, but it can happen. We chose some soups in advance and our daughter a frikandel. Spare ribs, schnitzel and burger sandwich as a main course and some Dame Blanch and coffee for dessert. The onion soup was terribly salty. We appreciate salt, but this was so salty that it was impossible to remove. We received the answer that they had already been told that yesterday and that there is not much they can do about it, because they will only make new soup next week. Next week! Simply selling a failed load of soup that you are aware of to customers is very antisocial! The mustard soup was more like mustard sauce. Fortunately the taste was good! The vegetable soup came a little later. Apparently it is very difficult to serve soup that needs to be heated up at the same time. And the frikandel? Apparently it had to be touched with a bare hand/thumb during serving, because it might start rolling... After we had been there for over 2 hours, the main course finally arrived. We were promised free drinks for waiting. The spareribs were very tough. We have indicated this. We were first told that that was very strange, because they had been marinated. Okay?... The gentleman came back to report that > ​​the spare ribs were indeed a bit on the dry side < ! They had already been lying around for a while, since we had been waiting for them for over an hour and a half. Apparently it's normal to serve ribs that you know are tough. The schnitzel and burger came a little later, because the gentleman had to take an order at another table first. When we were finally allowed to order the free drinks after a very long wait, the sourcy was gone. Unfortunately it was the only thing I could drink from what they sold, but not one was taken off the receipt to settle that. Finally, dessert. I skipped it because I was kind of done with it. The children ordered a dame blanche and my husband a coffee. The Dame Blanche wasn't too bad. The amount of ice crystals in it was still manageable. The coffee was delicious! Fantastic ambiance too. Especially because the music was turned off early to create even less atmosphere. I know that you cannot expect too much from a glorified snack bar, but there is an expectation that you adjust soup when you receive complaints that it is much too salty and that you do not serve spare ribs when you are aware that they be tough! Never again unless we go just for a coffee!

The food was fine, the service left much to be desired. The service was extremely unfriendly and seemed very disinterested. In addition, the simplest things such as desserts and drinks were gone because they said they had been closed for 2 weeks. We will not eat here again.

We had a social deal. Despite the good deal, we won't be back. Some things were fine. Only my starter and dessert were not OK. I didn't find the carpaccio tasty. The meat had clearly been frozen. I didn't think the balsamic vinegar on my carpaccio was a nice combination. This one also smelled a bit musty. The Dame Blanche was completely defrosted the first time. Then I got a new one. This was full of ice crystals. After I indicated this, the chef came to my table a bit angry. He didn't agree. His ice cream was fine. He never had any complaints and it was like a new tank. It's funny that he said this in an almost empty shop. If he had bothered to taste the ice cream himself before coming to my table we wouldn't have had an argument. I would say learn from it. Don't argue with guests. Make sure your cooling is in order. Serve fresh carpaccio. I would use truffle mayonnaise or pesto not that balsamic vinegar.

Enjoyed a delicious meal with a voucher via social deal. Smooth service and nice layout of the plates.

Order take-out, 6 products in total. We come to pick up and see that no less than half of the order is missing. We then contact you by telephone, you are constantly misunderstood. You also have to pick it up instead of having it delivered afterwards. When I go to pick it up, the wrong thing is also given, but then it was good for me and I asked for my money back. The food that was in the bag was nothing special and certainly not worth the money.

Great food, most of which is homemade. This was the second time I was invited to a party here. Both are great. Starting from the service to the drinks to the food. Very relaxed and relaxed atmosphere.

Schnitzel op gewarmd gewoon niet lekker Leuk personeel

Met 4 personen via SD gegeten. Voorgerecht: Mosterd soep en champignonsoep, beide veel te zout. Hoofdgerecht: Cordon bleu was goed; Boeren schnitzel was goed maar niet bijzonder; Gepaneerde karbonade was goed gegaard; Bacon burger was goed, broodje erg hard. Nagerecht: Crème bruleé was heerlijk; ijs taartje met bodem van gekruimelde Bastonge koek was lekker. Heren toilet miste handdoeken.

Leuk en aantrekkelijk geprijsd eetcafe. Goede hoeveelheid en smakelijke gerechten waarvan deels huisgemaakt en zelfs ontwikkeld.

Heerlijk gegeten. Ik had als voorgerecht de kipfilet BijHillen. Heerlijk malse kipfilet met een eigen gemaakte BijHillen saus. Als hoofdgerecht had ik de schnitzel pepersaus. Mijn vrouw had als voorgerecht de carpaccio en als hoofdgerecht de schnitzel met champignon roomsaus. Zeer vriendelijke bediening. Wij vinden het zeker een aanrader.

Het eten was slecht niet gaar (SNITSEL) leek wel gekookt in plaats van gebakken .ook werd er niet gevraagd of je nog iets te drinken willen. Gemiste kans jammer dat dit niet geplaatst is bij hun op de site

Fantastisch lekker biertje en genoten van hun zelf gemaakte frikandel waar ze al verschillende keren een primeur mee haalde op de televisie ... Maar zo eigenwijs als ik zelf ben wil dat gewoon persoonlijk ervaren 😆 echt lekker en dat is geen geintje maar ook hun kroketten friet en nog veel meer assortiment op hun menukaarten zijn heel netjes ... Even een tip zeg wel even goed doorbakken want het zijn stevige frikandellen die gewoon meer baktijd nodig hebben... Dus mensen het klopt dus echt bij Hillen moet je wezen voor echt een heerlijke snack😋 Dus bent u toevallig in Winterswijk effe langs rijden parkeren kan daar op eigen terrein,☕

Wederom heerlijk gegeten met een vriendin via SD. de keuze is reuze, het eten is goed en ruim voldoende. Een klein gezellig eetcafé met een ongedwongen, warme sfeer. De bediening was erg vriendelijk en spontaan. Wij komen zeker terug!

Via Social Deal arrangement genomen. Bijna 2 uur moeten wachten op hoofdgerecht, toen nog niet het bestelde gekregen. Voor- en nagerecht krijgt voldoende. Ambiance matig, de bediening was zwaar onder de maat. Een negatieve recensie van mij bij SD is trouwens door het bedrijf tegen gehouden

Het eten was goed en lekker. Bediening liet even op zich wachten.

Voorgerecht, uiensoep en nacho's met kip en gesmolten kaas was lekker. Toetje, crème brullèe en ijs met slagroom was lekker. Alleen het hoofdgerecht, snitsel en broodje hamburger daar moet echt aan gewerkt worden. Bediening erg jong, zonder toezicht maar wel vriendelijk.

Leuke kaart met prima eetcafegerechten, lekkere nachos met pulled chicken, prima burger, snitzels, ijstaartje enz. Vriendelijke jonge medewerkers. Wij komen hier zeker weer terug als we weer bij wims muziek kelder zijn geweest.
