Bistrobar Roos in Centrum

Heerlijk gegeten! Ook glutenvrij genoeg opties. Het is een mooi restaurant met een leuke sfeer en vriendelijk personeel!

Na een prachtige wandeling in het Maasduinen gebied geluncht bij Bistro Roos in Venray. Uitstekende kaart, zelf een focaccia Zwarte Kip gegeten, op een zonnig terras. Uitstekende bediening en ook binnen een bistro met goede interieur. Kortom een aanrader voor iedereen.

Food was good, just lacked salt and pepper on the table. In my opinion, it could have had a little more flavor. Portions are on the small side, you have to order fries and salad separately. Comparatively, price-wise, I spent more than expected. Service and atmosphere👍

Atmosphere, service and food are all good. Portions are on the small side. Plates beautifully presented. Considering the price, I expected the side dishes (fries and salad) to be included. The 75+ people who attended had enough, partly due to the starter. Sat at 59 euros per person.

Had a wonderful evening with beautifully presented plates and the dishes were truly excellent. We left pleasantly surprised and satisfied. Would love to come back here again..

No salt n pepper on the table, staff is young. Order extra fries and salad with the main course because the standard portions that come on the plate are really too small. If you order them later, the fries will arrive when you have finished the rest or are cold. It's tasty, by the way.

Once again we had a delicious meal at Bistrobar Roos. Roos is a real hostess. Dishes are delicious. Wide choice of beers on tap. Beautiful location and beautifully decorated inside. We like to come there.

The four of us ate the surprise menu. Main course choice of fish or meat. Great food and beautifully presented plates. These people really love their profession. Both the service and the chefs. Keep it up!

Didn't eat, but had a drink with a cheese board. The cheese board is almost laughable for the price. Cocktail I ordered was also really small. Furthermore, a nice terrace and hip interior. By the way, the waiter didn't thank you for the tip, I think it's the little things.

Arrived at this attractive store. For one of us the choice of main courses was difficult. Lots of 'red meat' dishes. That's why I went for the risotto and asked if chicken could be added. This was resolved very well. Delicious chicken on the side. Delicious, non-binding asparagus soup. Tasty bread And the ribeye was delicious with a special sauce Friendly service and nice ambiance. Not cheap (pay separately for side dishes) but good, fresh products.

Very nice meal at this beautiful restaurant. The passion & love for catering radiates here. Keep it up! Definitely recommended in Venray.

The food is nicely prepared but was not to our taste. The main courses in the menu were particularly disappointing. While the fish could be saved with some salt and pepper, the sirloin steak was overcooked and the risotto was simply unappetizing. Every dish had the potential to be delicious, but we were really disappointed by the flavors.

Atmospheric restaurant, near the theater. A very good alternative to 'The Artist'. Friendly staff. We had many different people at our table. Small menu, beautifully served. Unfortunately, scallops were a bit dry and salty. Fish of the day was delicious.

Stylish interior, friendly service and excellent presentation of dishes when served. Starter (veal cheek, see first meal photo) was good. The main course (forgot the name, but see the second meal photo) was unfortunately too much and therefore not really tasty without a dip. The meat of my table companions (including sirloin steak), on the other hand, was good. Nevertheless, I will definitely come back here more often! :)

I had a delicious meal with my friend yesterday. It looks clean with beautiful decor. The food was top notch, and the layout was also excellent. I certainly enjoyed the bruschetta very much. Unfortunately I don't live nearby, otherwise I would definitely have eaten there more often. We were served kindly.

Food very tasty. But for that price, not enough on your plate. You have to pay extra for side dishes. Too expensive for what you get. Service very friendly. But for a full stomach you have to be somewhere else.

Had the Christmas menu yesterday (Christmas Eve), very tasty! An aperitif and appetizer beforehand, very nicely presented, then 3 courses of delicious food. We had dinner here a few weeks ago (the bao buns as a starter and the truffle risotto as a main course, both highly recommended!!!) and certainly worth 5 stars. Beautiful thing!

Nice thing, but unfortunately not worth repeating. On Friday afternoon I arrived at this restaurant with a friend. We wanted to have lunch and had never eaten at Roos before so we were very curious. We were the only guests in the restaurant during our entire lunch. However, the friendly waiter was not able to properly take our food. At first I received the wrong dish and when I did receive the correct dish I received white bread instead of brown. She apologized politely for this. I chose to eat it anyway because the mistakes I made meant I could start eating later and otherwise it would be even later. Unfortunately the food was also a bit disappointing. For 11 euros you get 2 slices of bread (toast) with a very thin layer of carpaccio and some truffle mayonnaise. This is not in proportion to the price. We understand that things can go wrong, but if you only have 1 table occupied, the restaurant must be able to serve that table properly. A drink from the company as compensation would have been nice and would have been appreciated. Unfortunately, they missed the mark here too and it was not discussed again at checkout.

Good food, nice service. Had a wonderful evening. Top restaurant. We will definitely come back.

After having had a great lunch at Bistrobar Roos several times, we had dinner here for the first time yesterday. The steak tartare, black pudding, veal cheek and pork belly were all very tasty. Service is friendly. We will come back soon to taste the other dishes on the menu!

New bistro bar in Venray, close collaboration with butcher (mother and daughter). Excellent meal with nice dishes.

Enorm verrast door deze mooie en leuke zaak. Heerlijke eten en gedronken, fijn personeel. Maar wat me ook opviel was, dat het heel prettig vertoeven is. Prettige stoelen en ook het geluid was echt goed. We waren met een gezelschap van 5 meiden. En vaak moet je dan de moeite doen om elkaar te verstaan. Maar ook dit is echt aangenaam bij Roos. Echt een plus punt voor mij. Prijs / kwaliteit perfect.

Super lekker gegeten (glutenvrij!!) bij Roos! Leuke bediening, fijne sfeer en dus ook met allergieën een goede plek om te eten :)

Leuke nieuwe horeca tent met lekker eten. Roos is een echte gastvrouw met kennis van het vak. Dus deed moeite waard.

Voorgerecht was heerlijk maar het vlees van het hoofdgerecht was nagenoeg smakeloos, de friet en salade was niet inbegrepen, deze moesten we apart betalen. Bediening was prima, prachtig interieur.

Geweldige bistro met lekker eten. Eggs Benedict is een echte aanrader.

Voor de eerste keer gegeten bij Bistrobar Roos. Zonder verwachtingen vooraf. Maar complimenten aan deze nieuwe toevoeging van Venray. Prachtige aankleding, Attent personeel, en vooral heerlijk eten. We hadden beide gekozen voor de bavette chimichurri. Zijdezacht stukje vlees, mooi gepresenteerd. De chimichurri was op eerste oog wat weinig. Heb me er niet aan gestoord door de heerlijke béarnaise en de krachtige jus die er ook bijzaten. Overigens denk ik dat we wel extra chimichurri hadden gekregen indien gevraagd. Glaasje rose van de huiswijn was uitstekend. Afgesloten met de trifle aardbei rabarber. Helemaal wat we lekker vinden. Vooral door de frisse toevoeging van lemon curd en pistachio ijs. Stond niet op de kaart erbij omschreven.

Hartstikke leuke tent. Goed eten, vriendelijke bediening. Een echte aanrader in Venray!

We are really happy to found you folks. Friendly staff, The restaurant is very well located in the city center, You can sit outside and also inside with beautiful interior. Transparent kitchen which we loved. Our choice was Babette, what a lovely soft and tender 🥩. Loved it. Thank you for the cook 👨‍🍳. Recommended and we will visit you again! :)

Heerlijk eten en top sfeer. Echt een aanrader om naartoe te gaan
