Good service, good coffee, good food!

Was excited about having breakfast here based on the great reviews. I was in there shortly after it opened and was the only customer at the time. Unfortunately, I found a long and very obvious strand of hair on the food as soon as it was brought out. Let them know and they apologised and said they'll get me a new one which they did. Halfway through, I found another piece of hair which made me question whether it was the original plate they just brought out again. Was horrified. I paid and left quietly. The rest of my day was kind of ruined as I thought about the bit of the pancakes I had eaten before finding the hair the second time. Wish I hadn't stayed to be served the same thing for the second time.

A lovely, down-to-earth coffee and lunch spot just a 5-minute walk from Central Station and 1 minute from Vredenburgplein/city center. Great coffee, simple but good and tasty food, and even a few pastries. The food is a bit cheaper (for Utrecht) than at other coffee and lunch spots, which is nice. The staff is always friendly, there's a relaxed atmosphere, and the music is great too! Clearly a favorite among students and people who want to work, but it's also a nice place to sit together and chat. PLEASE NOTE! You can only pay by card 😉

Had to walk for 15 minutes only to tell me they are closing at 4 while they should be closing at 5PM!

Service was good and the ambiance is great! We had a coffee to go that just wasn't good. Milk was overheated which ruined the taste, together with semi-skimmed milk. Looking at the other reviews I expected more and therefore was a bit disappointed. I usually grab a coffee during my lunch walk, but it will take a long time before I stop here again.

The breakfast here was amazing! The American pancakes were cooked to perfection and it took less than 5 mins to get all our food and drinks. I would recommend this place for food and for coffee 10/10

Nice place, nice atmosphere and nice people who serve good coffee! Walking distance from Vredenburg and the city center, but just far enough not to attract hordes of shoppers, which makes the atmosphere very cozy. Top tent

The coffee was great. The barista had made a delicious Hario Siphon. A whole lunch with 4 coffees was 25 euros

An attractive coffee bar that profiles itself as a cozy living room for coffee and music lovers. The furnishings offer comfortable seating areas as well as a large reading table, making it a suitable place for informal business meetings.

I love the cafe and regularly come with my friends to study here. It's very chill with low traffic since it's off the main road, bright natural lightening, awesome music selection and couches to sit on.

Mediocre coffee, but it looked nice when I got a to-go coffee. People were working there on their laptops so I'm guessing there is WiFi

This gem is located just outside the busy center. Here the owner himself works as a barista behind the buttons. There is always a place to be found in the vintage interior. We plop down on the sofa on the window side and enjoy a hot chocolate, flat white and sweet treats. Nice spot for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the center.

Outstanding espresso. When I drink this espresso, I feel like Popeye after eating spinach.

Very nice place to grab a brunch or lunch or just a drink. Relaxed atmosphere, not in the busy streets. I only had a drink, but the hot chocolate was super nice after cycling through the cold foggy city.

Visited this place a couple of times during le guess who. The atmosphere at this cafe is impeccable, and also remarkably chill and quiet, especially for being this close to the city center. The coffee is great, the staff is lovely, and the music selection is excellent. I'll certainly be back next time I'm in Utrecht!

The prices are insane, coffee with milk for €4.5, €2 for espresso... You would go to jail for that in Italy 😂😂😂

I stumbled upon this lovely coffee place by accident but turned out to be one of the most phenomenal coffee houses in Utrecht. The coffee is divine but the cinnamon bread and banana bread are to die for!

Cappuccino, croissant, banana roll. Nice, fresh and warm croissant. Moist banana bread. Happy days. Cappuccino a sad thing. Palate burned. And the texture of the “frothed” milk would put even Starbucks to shame. Not happy. Atmosphere nice and calm & cozy. Classic musty hippie mixed with the occasional burnt kitchen disasters. So air your clothes and hair well.

Cozy cafe with really good coffee. It was crowded when we went at noon on a Saturday. Sat outside on a bench facing the street where it’s more peaceful and less chaotic. They serve the coffee to you. Will be back when I’m in Utrecht again.

My absolute favourite coffee place in Utrecht. Love the coffee, the music, the location, the atmosphere. It's the perfect place for meeting friends, and even colleagues, or just coming and reading a book/ journaling. The owner is very friendly too, and seems to put his heart and soul into this place as well.

It's always pretty quiet here and I don't understand why. There is always very good music being played and the atmosphere is nice for catching up or studying. The coffee is of course always excellent and the owner is also very nice :)

Hidden gem. I had a vegan brownie and vegan chai masala. We especially loved the music corner where you can listen to the Lp of your chosing. Will come again!

Ik heb een heerlijke chai latte vanille en een heerlijke verse American pancake met verse fruit en een heerlijke siroop top service vriendelijke mens met rustig communicatie. Vriendelijke verzorgt voor mijn gasten. Mooie sfeer met jaren 1960 tussen 1980 stijl.
